I scheduled an appointment on Friday and then on Tuesday, a few hours before my appointment, I got a call telling me that the appointment is cancelled and to go file for an extension. Didn't want to even help with anything else. Didn't offer to reschedule a new appointment. Just dropped the entire thing. I get that you're busy, but I could have gotten this done elsewhere instead of stringing me along for 5 days. Don't use Christina. Also, whoever contacted me on the phone with the bar that starts with an L, very rude and unprofessional. Thanks for nothing H&R Block. Now I know why people TYPICALLY AVOID these kinds of places. Thinking back at my experience, it was unprofessional for them to show up extremely late; however the person who took a look at the documents I brought in that day actually saved me money. I filed with HR block this year in person (at another location) and it cost me $300. I did my taxes online like the guy suggested when I came in and it was a lot cheaper. Awesome people. Very kind and helpful. I've been going here for two years. The only issue/concern I had was that the first time I came here, I couldn't file with a 1040 EZ because I had jury duty and received payment. The fee was higher. The next year, I was hoping they would file with 1040EZ since its only my w-2 from work (which is what I've been using when it's just work with ANY HR Block). They filed with a different form or same form as last year which resulted with the same cost as last year or more. I think it's just a thing in their system that roles over the form. Also, I referred someone and I never received my gift card; that's kind of a let down. read more

I tried to file my tax returns this year by myself, and was totally overwhelmed. I received a letter from the irs with instructions to send them things that I didnt know how to send. I contacted hr block and was greeted by Vicki Bandurian. I set an appointment for the next week. She has helped with the forms and got them all in order to send to the irs.
