If I could give negative I would!!!!! TIM made my husband and I nervous to begin with because he didn't seem how to use the "new" system! Well he said everything was good to go and when our states opened he would get them filed. WELLLLLLLL turns out he did something completely wrong and when I called to ask how it can be fixed he told ME to call OHIO. AFTER I PAID A LOT OF MONEY for him to do it. Well I told him I was really upset about this and he told me to give it a day or two and see if the state corrected what they have done. Well they didn't and when I called back to talk to him his WIFE NOT HIM got on the phone and basically said it was our fault because her husband went of what we gave them. Ummm excuse me? I did not file the incorrect information with Ohio they did. Not to mention his wife should have nothing to do with it. Well went in today and was told I would get a call with the correction before the end of the day. YEP YOU guessed it NO CALL NO TEXT NOTHING. We NEVER had this issue with Jackson Hewitt or the H&R Block on Washington in Junction City. I recommend staying far away from this place and petitioning to have it closed as they are just screwing people over. read more

I've used this particular location for my taxes the past 8 years at least. Up until this year I would have highly recommended them. However, being a customer service based person what happened today sealed their fate with me. After 30 minutes of waiting past my appointment time I finally had something to say. I spoke to the receptionist who had NO CLUE what was going on. She then asked if I wanted to have somebody else perform my tax service. I told her I did not, but I would love to know how much longer it would be. Needless to say I didn't get an answer other than "I don't know." The manager named "Wendell" sat in his office looking right at me the whole time and never even got up out of his chair to see what he could do to fix the problem. He seemed completely clueless and could care less. Needless to say I'm done with H&R Block on 6th street in Junction City, KS and probably their company as a whole. read more

DO NOT GO HERE. I have to be honest when I say, I don't know much about taxes so I have always paid someone else to do it. I went here and put my trust into Kathleen. I was 100% honest and have worked the same job for 4 years with no other income and she put my information in wrong. This particular information she even grabbed a book and read up on because she wasn't too sure. Well, guess what? She was wrong. I bought the insurance just incase because you can never be too cautious right? WRONG. Because their employee didn't know what she was doing they did not cover her $600 accident. I guess they expect you to know these little tax secrets and correct THEIR staff (it wasn't anything with income or numbers I might add) THIS PLACE IS A JOKE. read more

HORRIBLE!!!! This was our first and last time with this office. We have used H & R Block for years but this office should be shut down. We filed 1040 and it cost us $230.00. They would not tell us how much it would cost until we had the returns done. When we first arrived they tried giving us to an elderly lady who when the radio was turned on thought airplanes were flying low. We refused then were sent to another person. Our return was completed and we waited patiently for weeks for our refund. Called several times to the office to ask for help and was told "well we got ours not sure why you didn't get yours." I asked for help again and again and after 7 weeks was told that KS State IRS office changed our status from Military to non resident and I had to file an amendment. Why? "Don't know" I was then told that I would have to file the amendment myself and where to look online for the forms. A very long story short...I kept checking with the IRS and they could not find my amendment. I called the H & R Block office for help and the lady who answered was so rude. She kept interrupting me and when I stated that I needed to complete my sentence so she would understand what I needed she started screaming that I did not have a right to talk to her or call the office. She then sent me to a Mr. Wright who was less then helpful and said he would check into it. I have yet to hear from him. So, I called corporate and filed an official complaint. I also called the KS State IRS office only to be told that the preparer was at fault for the lack of refund as she did not complete Schedule S correctly nor did she state we were military. Mistakes happen and I understand that. What I don;t understand is an office that is rude and less then helpful to clients. They screwed up so own up. I will be sure to tell everyone about this office and the horrible experience. DO NOT GO THERE!!!! They take your money and run. read more
