This year, they can not seem to follow basic instructions, instructions they layed out, to complete my taxes. They contacted me today, 2 days before the tax deadline, to ask me basic questions. I gave them all the information over a month ago, and they still have not completed my taxes. Very unprofessional. I have had to follow up with them every year to make sure my taxes are done timely. I will definitely not use Sallie or John in the future, and will be seeking a quality firm for next year.

I set an appointment up through their online calendar on their website. Straightforward enough as it should be. Showed up for my Friday am appointment and the place was nearly dark. Knocked and a women wrestling her dogs back answer the door a bit confused. I said I had an appointment at 9am with Jason. She informed me that was her husband the other owner, however they where now closed in Fridays. I said wow you site allowed me the appointment time . At that point I said okay I could reschedule, she was polite and said said no come in and I will call Jason and have him come in, we only live a few blocks away. I was appreciative since I was leaving out of town over the weekend for a bit. Jason came in not dressed for work but he was here in short order so I was felt they where making good on forgetting to change their scheduling online. I had on form a 8379 that needed filled out. I brought all the necessary docs including a blank form along with my old accountants summation as to how it could be easily handled. He stayed with my ex in the divorce. All in all the meeting lasted 10 minutes with Jason stating he would begin this weekend to look and get things moving. He asked for my last tax returned to be emailed and I did when I got back home. All in all a fine quick meeting. I said I was gone for a week so no hurry. That was my mistake I think. I hadn't heard from him in over a month, called left a message, I called several days later and he indicated his remise for not having this completed but he had other projects come up (ie for whoops I forgot). He said he would get in it and get back to me. Another month nothing called left a message, he called several days and left me a one line message to calm him back. I called left a message, nothing. Another month, I emailed he emailed back and said he called I emailed back yesterday indeed he had and I called back, no response. At this point I simply asked for my information to be mailed back and I would find someone else. Four months in total and nothing, I mean not even a start. Wow how are they still in business. I'm a business owner in the area and was looking to bring my business needs accounting wise to them. Worst business to business experience I've had in the 22 years living in the area. The worst!

They made…read moremultiple mistakes on our return and Jason indicated that it's hard to do and he didn't understand why or how to do our return..."it"s complicated like a law document", but he would figure it out... well he/they didn't. I am still dealing with errors on our return from 2021. They charged extra to do an amended return (the original, plus 2 amended returns, due to their mistakes each time) and it was still wrong. We had to go to H & R Block to get a third amended return that corrected the mistakes that Jason made, or didn't correct; we had to go elsewhere to have our taxes for 2021 corrected because Jason stopped returning our calls. Do not use them... unless you want to have a bad experience and like to have the IRS send you a letter stating you owe money because of the ineptitude of the tax preparer.

The contents were thick, gummed up, extremely difficult to squeeze out, and the epoxy never cured, making it completely unusable. When I brought it back, I was told they couldn't accept a return because the package had been opened. That's exactly the problem--there was no way to know the product was defective without opening it and attempting to use it. A defective product can't be identified while it's still sealed. What was most disappointing wasn't just the defective epoxy, but the response. No refund was offered, no exchange was offered, and there was no attempt to stand behind the product they sold. I understand stores need return policies, but those policies shouldn't be used to avoid responsibility for selling defective merchandise. I expected much better customer service from a local marine supplier. I always try to buy Local when I can and this Customer Service sent me to the Internet.

This place is so good it made me forget I'm a grown adult with bills, bad knees, and a questionable credit score. Mrs. Davis deserves her own talk show, she's that kind, that helpful, and somehow makes you feel like you're the most important person on the lake. And Jesse at the dock? The man parks boats smoother than I park a shopping cart. Honestly, if my life ever depends on precision, I'm calling Jesse before I call 911. The boats? Gorgeous. Like, "don't take me home, I live here now" gorgeous. The lake? Basically a giant mood booster served cold with a side of sunshine. And the views? Unreal. If your jaw doesn't drop, you should probably check your pulse. Navigation and info are laid out so clearly, even I couldn't screw it up, and trust me, if there's a wrong turn to make, I'll make it. The woman who was supposed to help us had to leave and I could hear her talking to another woman about helping us but the other woman didn't want to. We were told to just come back the next morning. We did and finally got set up. The person who got our account started was friendly so I give them a star for that. Lately I have been trying to start teen accounts and it has been very difficult. I tried calling the bank but it goes to one central spot and they were unable to set up an appointment for me to get an account started. Someone was supposed to call me and I did eventually get one phone call. I missed that call because I was in an important staff meeting. I have called that person back no less than three times and haven't heard back. I finally stopped in to the Whitefish branch but was told the person who could help me would call me back. That never happened. I call again and am told I should just do everything online but the online experience isn't very intuitive and I have to upload things when I already have an account started. Why do they need someone like my passport? I am so tempted to find a different bank but I have already started a checking and CD. There definitely needs to be some adjustments in the operations of the bank and how they follow up with customer service.
