We've been using them for several years now, but our latest experience sealed the deal. Recently we had them come out for a sewer pipe inspection from another plumbing company which provided us with a yearly scope of our line. They discovered a slab leak underneath our home due to a shifted sewer line. The estimate to fix the line was very high. We decided to get a second opinion, so we called Clearwater. Jason and Andrew were able to come out immediately to check the line. They ran a camera through the line and did see the disconnection but further under our slab, quite a bit further than the other company noted in their estimate. Jason gave us a quote that was much more affordable. Jason told me the excavation crew could be there the next day. The excavation company Clearwater uses was wonderful. I've never seen 3 more hardworking individuals. It was amazing they were able to dig a 10' tunnel under our slab in less than 3 hours. A day later, Jason and Andrew from Clearwater arrived to take care of the repairs, schedule the final inspection and testing and get the excavation company to backfill the tunnel. Clearwater seamlessly took care of a major repair with finesse and professionalism. If you need a plumber, Clearwater is the one to call. Update, a few days later, we discovered a link in the plumbing under our kitchen sink. Due to me being an amputee and my wife with a broken right wrist, we were not able to make the repairs ourselves. I called early in the morning and Jason and Andrew were out to take care of the leak a few hours later, awesome service.

As the work started, it turned out that a couple of pipes from the build were not well located. Change order was reasonable, but could have been avoided if proper information had been available. I called for service, and JAKE S. came the VERY NEXT DAY!!! I had been added to his schedule, so it was later in the evening. Again, Jake was very pleasant, and thorough. He told me what was wrong and that he could fix my electrical outlets in 45 minutes. However, he quoted me a price of $1600. Outrageous. And that was only if I signed up for an extended service contract. I said I didn't want any contract and then he said the price would be higher. I felt like he was more of a used car salesman than an electrician. I said no to him and his price and then got in contact with another electrician who was very professional and kind and he fixed all my outlets and even my front porch light for $200. BEWARE!! This contractor was assigned to us through our Home Warranty Company, American Home Shield…read more(that's a whole other story) on September 3rd, for a failed hot water heater, and was acknowledged by them on the same date. Swat Plumbing said they could not get us in until September 8th because it was a holiday weekend. So, here is where I'd like to point out, that if you go to their website, this is what is stated on the home page; "Precision Plumbing Deployed Fast. 24/7 emergency plumbing across Aledo, Fort Worth, and surrounding North Texas communities. Upfront pricing. Rapid dispatch. No surprises." Well, I just want to say this was NOT our experience. It gets worse from there. Tuesday, September 8th comes (now 6 days with NO hot water) and there has been no contact from Swat Plumbing on even a time frame, so I decide to pick up the phone and ask if they can give me an estimate. After being put on hold THREE times (by a very confused dispatcher), I am told "the technician had an emergency and didn't make it into work today, so can you do Thursday". WHAT??? I tell her that this is an emergency, we've had NO hot water for SIX days now, and they should move one of their regular service appointments to make time for an emergency. The dispatcher tells me "that's not how it works". REALLY??? We own an electrical contracting company, and that's how it works for us (and, I'm thinking for any other reputable company who cares about their customers). Fast forward to today, Thursday, September 10th, and we actually get a technician out to our house, who "diagnoses" our hot water heater and states "LEAKING , GOT A HOLE IN IT, needs a permit and code modifications are to pass the inspection". There are NO permits required in our area (we're in the County), therefore NO code modifications are required!! The home warranty company will cover the cost of the hot water heater, but will not cover the cost of the "modifications". It is VERY obvious that Swat Plumbing has very unethical practices by giving FALSE information to the Home Warranty Company and trying to obtain an extra $1,098 from a Senior Citizen!!
