    A copy of invoice with exorbitant charges for labor!

    Lightfoot mechanical is a business of crooks. I had them come out to fix my water heater, that is under warranty, and was charged $581.00 for 2 labor hours. The tech lied on the invoice by stating he changed more parts than he did and by saying he left and went to Lowe's to get parts when he never left my house. The parts totaled $35. If you look at my invoice(attached pic) you will see there isn't a breakdown of service only a lump charge of $581.00. He pulled that number out of you know where and added services that weren't performed to justify charges! Lightfoot mechanical is NOT an ethical company. Crooks, crooks, crooks. BEWARE! ****Update- after my husband called and shredded a manager, we were given a $181.00 credit on this invoice. They cited a training issue. I haven't gotten it yet. We will see. I still think I was overcharged.

    We were looking at record-breaking heat not long polite,ago and my air conditioner decided it was a good time to go out! Lightfoot was so fast and their people were so nice, any waypolite and a joy actually to be around. They were very respectful and went out of their way to help in . Youanyway they could. The job was done ASAP and I am very happy with the work and the new friends I made :) Thank you all so very much you are #1 in my books. If you are looking for a company that is all about customers then you have found it here, I 100% would recommend them.

    Unfortunately, once I had my new gas range installed, it was brought to my attention (by the installers) that there was no gas flow to my range! The valve was installed, but the Lightfoot plumber never tested it to see that it was actually working. Wtf?? Lightfoot sent a new crew out the next day and they informed me that the gas line to my kitchen had a previous leak, had been disconnected, and capped off in the attic... AND that it would cost $6800 to install a new gas line!! I had another (master) plumber come out for a second opinion and he quoted me a FRACTION of that price for the same type of installation. Lightfoot grossly overcharges and tried to take advantage of me, big time... I would never recommend them to anyone.

    Atlas plumbing which I was a long time customer was taken over by this company . I had two leaks and they took care of the refrigerator water line leak promptly and Foro did an excellent job of explaining and fixing the issue. His helper prevented him framing m fixing the sink stopper and advised me to contact Moen for replacement part on the sink stopper leak which has to wait until the right part is received. the refrigerator water valve was not replaced based on his expert opinion that is still good and only time would tell. overall I'm happy and satisfied with the repair done today.

    My whole house water heater went out on Saturday. I looked up a certified Rinnai service tech and Lightfoot came up so I called and asked if they could send someone out but only if they had normal failure parts on hand. I was told they do have parts on the trucks. Emergency Saturday,Sunday after hours calls are $249 trip charge. This does not get applied to your repair. Regular hours trip charge is $89. I told them to send someone Monday. The tech was great but, the diagnosis was going to be $300, and parts and repair would be a flat $749. It turned out to be a $16 water flow sensor that fits several models. He didn't have it on hand and had to order it. So, to order it and come back it would cost me $89 for trip charge, $300 to diagnose (which consists of calling the help line of the manufacturer and going through a flow chart) and then $749 to come back and fix it. They should never have told me they had parts to fix it on the truck, and then say "well we have some parts" it's the call centers fault. I paid the $300 diagnostic fee, and the $89 trip charge (good thing I didn't have them come on the weekend for $249 trip charge) and said thanks. I learned a lot from this, and lost a days work, and several hundred dollars. I ordered the sensor online for $16 and had it shipped next day air for $30. Seems very excessive to charge those rates, there was no way around the $749 for a sixteen dollar part. By the way a new unit is $1,300 not including install. I understand business have to charge and be competitive but as a business owner myself I'm having a hard time understanding how they justify this. I must say the tech was very nice.

    It may be hot and steamy outside, but it is nice and cool inside. We had been in our home a few…read moremonths, when temps started to rise and we turned on our AC. Outside temp was up in the 90s and inside it would not cool under 79. We called Flex Air on a Thursday afternoon and they came out the next day. They took their time to review all the equipment. They listened to what our needs were. They ended up giving us 4 different options to choose from on how to proceed. They showed us a side by side preview of all 4 otptions and then went into details of each one. This included two with repairs and two with full right replacements. They took their time to answer all of our questions not shying away from the positives and negatives of each option. This gave us a clear picture on how we felt we needed to move forward. They came out the following Monday to put in the new equipment. During install they were polite and friendly, again answering any questions we may have had. We have been using it a week now and everything is running great and nice and cool. We also love the new thermostat. I appreciate them being upfront with us. Again listening to what our needs were and they did not try to push some high end products with a bunch of bells and whistles that we did not need. My wife and I are very happy with service and product. Thank you So much!

Chris came out within an hour after I called to look at the damage and give me an estimate. He and his crew were extremely professional and got the job done sooner than expected. Not only did they do a job that other companies refused, but I feel his price was honest and fair. I will always call Parker County Cooling and Heating for my HVAC needs in the future.

I called a few companies and got an answering service which advised me I'd get a call on Tuesday ( holiday weekend) to set up an appointment. I was looking for sooner to be honest. I then called Parker County Cooling and Heating (PCCH )on Saturday morning, to see if they could do a system's check and to set up an appointment for their next available time. After I called PCCH (and to my surprise ) a person, who worked for PCCH actually answered the phone when I called. I explained my issue and he, Chris, offered to come out within the hour. He was upfront with his service price which was very reasonable and more importantly we didn't have to wait to have our system checked out. I thought if we waited it could lead to a potential bigger problem if we had something bad going on with our system. Chris responded to the location faster than the response time he had quoted. He also called and gave a 15 mins out to arrival. Upon arriving he was in a company vehicle and was wearing his company uniform. He was carrying gear and was ready to work. He conducted the inspection and checked out the system. After some time and luckily for us, we did not have any issues so we were just charged a nominal service fee. Chris explained there were no issues and even walked me through my system and answered questions I had about it. After speaking with Chris he explained he was the owner of the company and he was happy to help us out anytime if we had any issues in the future with our HVAC system. It is to be noted that Chris did not try to up sell anything and offered some simple maintenance advice for me to do as DIY er. Chris gave us peace of mind that our system was a quality ac unit and that it was working as it was supposed. I feel he took the time to do his job professionally. He was very polite courteous and seemed to be a knowledgeable professional, who is locally based and wants to work and do his job the right way. We didn't need any repairs etc at this time but if we did he would be who I would go to for HVAC needs without hesitation. One other cool thing Chris mentioned to me was since our Ac unit was newer that if we had an issue that it still would have a parts warranty which would save us some money if we had any issues. It appears we found our Ac guy in the event we needed one again . Hopefully we don't !!! Good job PCCH and thank you!

It has benefitted me in scheduling AND pricing! I had my yearly inspection/tune up with ALONSO P. He was very professional, easy to talk to, and thorough, including changing my filter. He covered his shoes and petted my doggie!! Several days later, we had horrendous storms in my area, and several of my switches and outlets had been zapped and would not work. I called for service, and JAKE S. came the VERY NEXT DAY!!! I had been added to his schedule, so it was later in the evening. Again, Jake was very pleasant, and thorough. He checked every problem I pointed out, and, lickety-split, FIXED EVERYTHING, including my high stairway pendant light and my thermostat!!! Since mishaps come in threes, my heater then began acting weird! It was tying hard to start, and if it did, would only run a minute or less. At one point, it was 59* in my house! I did not hesitate to call Hobson. (BTW, their phone is answered by a PERSON!!!! And every person to answer their phone is DELIGHTFUL AND HELPFUL!) This time, I had the pleasure to have LEO H. answer my call. WOW! Leo is beyond AWESOM! He listened to my description and then went to work. He diligently worked on my unit until he found the culprit! A tiny crack deep in one part that he showed me. Then LEO said these magic words, "I HAVE THE NEEDED PART ON MY TRUCK!!!) Wha...?! He promptly fixed it and my heater has been humming along ever since!! My home is cozy and warm. YAY, LEO! EVERY technician who has come to my home has been courteous, professional, knowledgeable, efficient and VERY pleasant to work with. I can tell that the majority of their dedicated staff are indeed MASTER TECHNICIANS! They are excellent servicemen who know their job and enjoy doing it! I trust and rely on HOBSON AC and their incredible staff! Their pricing is extremely fair and their CUSTOMER SERVICE outstanding! I HGHLY RECOMMEND Hobson AC!

    I was referred to this company by Angi for electrical repair after my house was hit by lightning…read more When their technician arrived (Matt), I immediately felt uncomfortable with him. He told me what was wrong and that he could fix my electrical outlets in 45 minutes. However, he quoted me a price of $1600. Outrageous. And that was only if I signed up for an extended service contract. I said I didn't want any contract and then he said the price would be higher. I felt like he was more of a used car salesman than an electrician. I said no to him and his price and then got in contact with another electrician who was very professional and kind and he fixed all my outlets and even my front porch light for $200. There is something very "shady" about Hobson. I wish I had read their other Yelp reviews before their guy showed up.
