    The new storefront!

TLDR: Very good, brand new HEB (as of Fall 2021) in a prime location. North Leander / Liberty Hill has needed a brand new supermarket for a long time; there's a gap of sorts between Georgetown and Leander for a grocery store beyond Copper Ridge Market. This new HEB has a lot to recommend it - plenty of parking, a good location with access off Hwy 29 and R. Reagan Blvd, and well stocked produce, liquor, and dry goods departments. On the flip side, it's not an HEB+ and you definitely notice the smaller footprint of the store. It feels slightly more cramped than a larger store - by that I mean the aisles themselves are narrower. In particular, watch out for a bottleneck between where the produce, fresh food, and freezer areas intersect! Still, worth going to if you need groceries and don't want to drive another 20 minutes to the south or west!

Why does H‑E‑B only put 1 item in each bag when you do curbside pickup? Seems excessively wasteful.

Why does H‑E‑B only put 1 item in each bag when you do curbside pickup? This has happened multiple times. Seems excessively wasteful. So tedious to unload groceries. Please consider retraining your curbside sackers. I have never seen another company bag groceries in this way lol Are they bored in there and wanting to play pranks on the curbside customers?!

Brand New Location !!! Awesome !!!

I wished they had better service and quality of food all around. The food is always spoiled, pharmacy is terrible, unfortunately.

Every time I go to Trader Joe's in Austin, I feel like a kid in a candy store! As a foodie and…read morebaker, I absolutely LOVE finding fun ingredients, seasonal treats, fresh flowers, and all the little hidden gems throughout the store. The energy is always so welcoming, and the employees are genuinely kind and helpful every single visit. I could honestly spend hours walking every aisle because there's always something new to discover. From unique snacks to frozen meals that actually taste homemade, everything feels thoughtfully picked out and affordable too. Trader Joe's makes grocery shopping feel exciting instead of stressful, and that's rare these days. Austin truly needed a spot like this, and it has become one of my favorite places to shop whenever I'm in the city. Signed, a very happy foodie named Nikita

But, it's a nightmare with…read moreparking, traffic (inside and outside of the store), etc. We have a monthly trip to TJ's for all of our faves (Speculoos all-day, everyday...cookies, cookie butter, & ice cream---give me everything Speculoos). We buy certain seasonings and oils only from TJ's as well as cheese and other items. If I list them all, you'll get bored. I absolutely never leave Trader Joe's without fresh flowers for our apartment. It's a TJ ritual that dates back more than a decade for me. Heck, way back in the day (over a decade) when visiting friends in L.A., I would always get flowers for their places from TJ. Anyway, back to the reason you're reading this-you want to know my thoughts on the location and nothing more. So, as I mentioned I don't like the other store for reasons of chaos. This store gets super busy too but parking is much better since there's a decent lot. It's easy to navigate through the store and get to all our favorite things. Service is always typical TJ friendly. Happy and with smiles. Products and shelves are always in stock and filled. Extremely clean store. It's worth the drive out of the city to the 'burbs for this store location.

The selection of cheeses and prepared items on the back wall is excellent and very well priced. Their sourdough bread is very good, and the selection of breads is good in general. They have a relatively new store branded version of "Dave's Killer Bread" in several varieties, and not only is it priced much better but I think it's tastier. The so-called "aisle of shame" sometimes has interesting household and clothing items, so is always fun to look through if you have the time. The store is rarely crowded, but sometimes lines are long to check out. Some of the cashiers are super nice and make the experience more enjoyable.

Best in the area, and I love supporting small businesses. I got their mega taco and split that with my partner. Kept us both full! Food was made to order but wait wasn't too long. Definitely worth it. Good prices for the amount of food they give you. You order at the back of the gas station, wait for your food, then pay at the front register. The entrance doesn't look like it'll have all this amazing food, but trust it and you won't regret it! It's still your average convenience store, but the space was clean and the man at the register was very kind. There are also seats and tables in front of the order counter to sit and wait or enjoy your food. Definitely recommend for breakfast tacos! They also sell tamales and have lunch specials.
