Heard from a very helpful associate from HEB, that they are now outsourcing their shoppers. This is not working for me. The website gives one the option to leave notes for the shopper. I know the shoppers are not MY personal shopper; however, the website gives one an opportunity to leave specific notes; therefore, the shopper should read the notes. I leave notes because I can't eat certain items. I got my delivery and the notes were ignored. Then the delivery I got today had 3 heavy bags tied together! Really? I could barely pick up due to a disability to bring into the house/kitchen. Maybe there needs to be some training for the shoppers. Looks like Walmart is my new grocery store. read more

This review is all about their ability to do really great catering. This is graduation season and my grandson graduated fron VRHS. his parents threw a really nice party that was catered by HEB. They even did some custom items reequested by my daughter and son in law. Everthing was appealing to the eye and very tasty. I highly reccommend them for your next party. read more

HEB is a wonderful grocery chain that is pretty much universally loved. We all know every HEB is good compared to other grocery chains, but not all HEBs are as good as each other. Thankfully this is a solid HEB! This store is always, clean, colorful, organized, and spacious. I've always been able to easily find everything I'm looking for and more. The staff is never over bearing but always ready to help if needed. That's the best kind of service - ready and available but not bothering you. On the weekends you'll be able to sample some of the HEB food products as they're grilled or cooked in the aisles by staff members. You're sure to leave with more than you came for. The customer service kiosk is happy to make money orders and take returns. If the return is less than $5 they'll give you cash, if it's more then you get an HEB gift card, and if you have the credit card you originally paid with them you'll get the refund on the card. All in all, this is a good HEB that I enjoy visiting every time. read more

Avoid this HEB. I have been shopping and getting my prescriptions here for the past 18 months. Today I am finally done with them. Groceries are regularly out of stock, deliveries are late, half the time my curbside order is incomplete (yet the item they couldn't find is right on the shelf when I go inside to replace it), the pharmacy is always slow, and they can't get your prescription order to you on time. Worst HEB in the entire state! I am dumbfounded at their level of incompetence. My prescription delivery was a full hour outside the delivery window today causing me to be late. It took me 15 minutes just to get someone to answer the phone. Whether it was Derrick, the manager, or the two different people I eventually spoke to in the pharmacy all they could do is make excuses. Not once did they take responsibility for my late order and they refused to refund the delivery fee because they said they didn't delivery my prescription. While that may be true, they do contract with the delivery service and that is their problem. I'll never shop there again for anything. read more

I've been using their curbside service which helped tremendously during pandemic. I still use curbside as it saves me money. Staff here are pretty nice too love the weekly overall experiences. This is a very good HEB, with its only limiting factor being that it's not an 'HEB-Plus'. Even though it doesn't have quite as big a merchandise section as other stores, it's still well run. Service is fast and friendly, and I'm especially impressed with their cheese section as well as the organic / healthy living section. Good selection of bulk items as well. Definite recommend, even with the limited selection and sub-par parking (a LOT of spaces allocated to handicapped and parents-with-kids). read more

Today I went to this H.E.B. as opposed to the H.E.B. on university I normally shop at. While perusing the dish soap section, I stumbled upon the new H.E.B. scented soaps to include the following scents: funnel cake, rodeo and snow-cone. While smelling the scents to determine which soap I might purchase, an HEB employee came up to me and asked "So, what does the rodeo scent smell like?" To which I replied "It is like a combination between leather and a musk". This employee then says to me, "Well, how bout this, you try one of these soaps on us". The employee then proceeded to give me a 'try one on us' card to get the item for free! As many years as I have been a customer of H.E.B., I did not know such a thing existed. I am giving H.E.B. five-stars not just because of this occurrence but because H.E.B. provides what its consumers need. More specifically, H.E.B. caters toward its audience and demographic. In addition, H.E.B. has some of the most helpful and friendly staff and supports its community by using locally sourced products. read more

I love this location and the setup. I enjoy the deli, the fish market, the produce section, the frozen section, and the whole store. The staff are friendly and helpful from the students to the older ones. They smile and make me feel good every time I visit. There is ample parking and it's got 3 entrances and exits. Parking is diagonal and usually just a short walk to the door. I have been to 3 or 4 other HEBs, but I like this one the best! read more

I use this store often for curbside constantly never have any issues at all until today I was running out of gas so I stopped at the heb fuel station Never Again. I put my chase card in and it locked it did not ask me any questions and then a pay at cashier popped up . I assumed it wasn't working right then , it said would I like a receipt I pushed no and it kept my card locked so I assumed it was being payed for ! At the end of pumping 10 bucks it said see cashier I figured the machine was broke and then it released my card .I didn't even have two feet in the car before this very angry out of control screaming old guy named David came racing around the corner saying that I Better get over here and pay right now I'm mean screaming this man had to have been like 70+ screaming at me to pay or Else saying it's people like me I assumed mixed race as I am by racial . I assured him I wasn't stealing 10$ of gas for my jeep in my work scrubs on a Wednesday evening ! He was saying he wasn't racist because he's Native American lol I payed and told him he was way to old to be acting so outrageous angry and screaming at a woman he did not apologize and proceeded to tell me that people go to jail for assuming things ! This used to be my local HEB years ago but have moved a few times. I find myself heading back to this one when I'm in the area or passing by because I truly am familiar with the store and the folks are nice. They have tons of organic stuff and keep good new items in the healthy living section. I am so glad that HEBs have jumped on board with the collagen and kombucha lifestyle for us new age hippies not wanting to go to Whole Foods every time you need something organic and non gmo. Rick the wine guy is awesome! He knows his vinos! He is patient and so eager to help. You can tell he truly loves helping people choose the best wine/beer. He will even take you over to the fancy cheese department to find some great pairing cheeses from other countries! The gal in that department is very kind and goes out of her way beyond her basic job description! The minus one star is for the select few red shirt peeps who go thru your whole check out transaction process without saying a single word and watch you bag your own groceries while huffing and puffing that you haven't finished the keypad process because you're busy bagging.... only a couple of them and I try to avoid their lines as much as possible.. read more

I shop here for my groceries but always, always have the same issue. The baggers. I politely ask for my reusable bags to be packed light. It's not going to happen. It is a concept that must take extensive training or they do not care. Yesterday I had a 5 lb bag of potatoes in a bag with many canned goods. Management please talk to your trainers about this! HEB has long been my favorite grocery store. They have fresh meats and veggies, lots of clean eating choices. And they give back to the community. They were a huge supporter of my daghter's highschool band. Also volunteering at the Feast of Sharing was an experience I wouldn't have missed. Another place they contribute in a big way is the Capital Area Food Bank. But mostly, I love my friendly, clean, well stocked, local HEB. read more

This is one of my top HEB's in town to visit. It's always super clean, well staffed and has a huge selection of specialty foods that other HEB's do not carry. It has a soup bar, an abundance of packaged meals to go, an awesome bakery and the meat & seafood markets will not disappoint. The beer and wine selections are also tops compared to other food stores in the central Texas area. You should stop by and see the nice folks here. read more

Pharmacy is SO SLOW! I love H-E-B and this location is amazing. The grocery side is always on top of it. But the pharmacy absolutely sucks! It takes forever for them to fill a prescription and the line to pick up is ridiculous. They almost never have more than one person working, and they love to do consultations while checking you out rather than send you to the consultation booth. 45 minutes to pick up a Rx. They seriously seriously need new management. read more

I want to share my family's experience with anyone willing to take the time to read this. It's the only way to let out my deep sadness about the reality that many minorities face and that I have been led to believe no longer exists. I love this country. But it full of imperfect belief systems that impact the rights of others- some explicit and some implicit. Today, we experienced racism based on what I believe is prejudice toward the way we looked, our appearance, and our names. So, here's the story... we were denied service @westernunion @HEB in Cedar Park because the teller, Bill, was uncomfortable with where our money is being wired to. On Wednesday, Feb 3rd, my wife and I stopped by the Western Union inside HEB to wire money to family in Yemen. This is something we've done in the past and had no issues while living in Dallas and Chicago. My wife went to the store while I waited in the car with our kids. Upon her arrival to the Western Union service desk, the teller asked her a few questions, which included, "what country is the money being sent to?", "who is receiving the money, and what are their relationships with her?." She answered with complete honesty and was denied service because the teller, Bill, was "not comfortable." She left the store upset and confused. After hearing her experience, I went into the store to find out why she was denied service and to find out how the decision was made. So I waited in line until I was called. I introduced myself and asked Bill to help me understand why he denied us service and why he told her, "she can go to another Western Union." I was respectful and under control when engaging with Bill- his poor attitude and lack of communication skills aside. He could not answer the reason behind the denial of service and kept repeating the same line; "he was not comfortable" assisting us, and it was well within his rights to deny us service because of his feelings. He called a manager by the name of Gabe, who shared that it was up to Bill to decide whether he wants to provide service or not. I asked to see their policy for denial of service. Gabe spent several minutes going through a binder to no avail. He decided to call another manager by the name of Dae, who listened to my questions but said he could not do anything nor explain the reason why Bill can decide on his own who to provide service to and who to deny. Then the store manager, Justin, came. I listened to them attempt to reason that they had no power to take care of a customer. I asked questions regarding the policy for denial of service and received the same answer. It was up to Bill and his "feelings" on whom he decides to help or deny service to. Although the conversation I had with store leaders was cordial in tone, their inability to be empathetic beings and correct a wrong at the moment has sadly led me to conclude that discrimination is real and systematic in many levels of our society. read more

This store has got just about everything! I go every few weeks to this location because they carry some things I can't get at other stores, i.e. my favorite Italian wine-Tomaresca. This evening, with gas lines long due to the recent hurricane, this HEB had staff directing customers to the pumps in an effort to maintain some form of order. . The ladies I spoke with were doing a magnificent job of moving the lines in an orderly fashion. Kudos to this HEB for their ability to adapt in a new and possibly crazy situation. read more

I LOVE my H-E-B!! I can't say it enough. It's very hard right now for everyone and they have risen to the occasion. They are working around the clock to try to keep the shelves stocked and provide enough supplies for everyone. This is MY HEB and it's fantastic. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. The staff is amazing. They are always ready to lend a helping hand - even if it's not their department. I love their brands and use them a lot - and the butcher department is amazing. They are always helpful and point me in the right direction. Even going so far as to recommend a different cut of meat than I was choosing because they know of a better one for the recipe. Tried the Curb Side Service twice and both times they screwed up. This morning, they shorted me two items so when I noticed this at home, I tried to reach them by phone, which took 20 minutes after being on hold and hung up on two times. Finally a very nice lady told me what I was missing before I could say it my self. They new about the mistake they made two hours ago now, at this point, but didn't contact me. Over all this is a great idea but poorly executed. I shop faster than two hours, going back to old school shopping after this experience. read more

I love this Heb when I lived in Round Rock I would always drive to this location in Cedar Park it's less cramped and the have more of a selection! Also there is so Much southern Hospitality here!! Everyone talks to you it's amazing! I love the lay out and you can shop this Heb in a full circle! Also they have ordering online where they have specifics parking for you and I even preferred to order online and the delivered it to my house everything was cold and my order was accurate!! It's great as I can't always leave my house with a special needs child. Also this location has parent with child parking which is great!! I love this idea and my son loves the car carts for kids, Also they have a family Bathroom which is great for diaper changing! Plus if you want some Starbucks or subway they are all right in this center including Bank of America. Which is all so convenient. Thank You Heb !! Please restock the Takis!! Here we go, another one of my rare five-star reviews, and it's for a grocery store no less! This is by far the best H-E-B, and possibly one of my favorite grocery stores, that I've ever visited. Although they are currently undergoing some interior construction, it did not detract from the overall cleanliness and feel of the store. Lots of samples and opportunities to try new things: Filet Mignon, wine, cheese... you name it. Makes shopping there such a pleasure. Staff was easy to find and very helpful. Checkout was quick and friendly. I wish this wasn't so far out of my way or I would be here all the time. A+ from me! read more

Last week I had visited HEB here in Cedar Park to do some shopping for the family. It was my first real outing after having suffered a medical situation that resulted in the loss of use in my left hand. The store was very busy and I underestimated just how difficult a shopping trip would be for me. Towards the end of my shopping trip I was having a very difficult time maneuvering the carts and was physically in a lot of pain. I also became flustered because it was very hard for me to get used to the fact that things aren't as easy for me as they once were. A young associate named Brooklyn had noticed that I was having a hard time. She took it upon herself to watch my cart for me so I could go retrieve one item that I had forgotten. When I returned with that item someone had opened up a register lane just to help me check out. Brooklyn helped me unload my shopping cart and then followed me all the way out to the car helping me load my groceries into the trunk. Normally I would be very embarrassed because I needed that help but her attitude and demeanor took all that unease away. She asked me about my family and told me about hers. We had a really nice conversation and she changed my entire experience from something very difficult into just a real blessing. Brooklyn represents the HEB brand so incredibly well and I am sure they are already very proud of her involvement in the company. Kudos to this H-E-B for providing the the type of leadership and management that promotes a true commitment to hospitality and treating people with the goodwill and kind heartedness that we could use more of in these difficult times. I love this H-E-B and I wish Brooklyn nothing but the best as she pursues her career in nursing. I congratulate her on her recent marriage and pray for her husband's safe return from his deployment and thank him for serving our country in the US armed forces. read more

I have been using the pharmacy at this location for 5 yrs. This past Saturday the Pharmacist Jackie took time to help me with a very expensive eye drop. She found a way to save me a great deal of money. I can't thank her enough. I have never had a bad experience at this location.
