I love this store and I'm happy they are very close to us! :)…read moreThe store design is fantastic and I love their uniform. It has a very warm and welcoming vibe. We find products here that are usually hard to find somewhere else. The staff have been very friendly and helpful and when you have a question, they won't leave you till you find what you needed even if you ask them store manager. I love their butchery department and bakery the best. They always have fresh and high quality products that you can smell it from the opposite side of the store. Overall I have been always enjoying my shopping experience there and I highly recommend them! :)

There are washrooms quite near; gender specific, many stalls. If you can find somewhere to sit you "claim your chairs" - bring a coat to leave on the chair! - and then go pay and grab food. No waiters. Once you pay you get a stamp and can go get food. Food options included were sourdough pancake, sourdough pancake with blueberries, sourdough French Toast, scrambled eggs, Fruit Cobbler, Sweet n' sour pork, Potato pancakes, Smashed baby potatoes, bacon, sausage, fresh assorted fruit in fruit bowl (all mixed and diced - watermelon, pineapple, strawberries, few blueberries, melons, apple), and freshly carved ham. Also they make omelettes fresh/on-demand. sourdough pancake with blueberries - made fresh on a griddle right behind the counter, no sour taste which I was happy about. sourdough French Toast -no sour taste which I was happy about, really nice bread used. scrambled eggs - a little rubbery for me Fruit Cobbler - some of it was too soggy for me (I don't like that the bread was soggy where it touched/sat in fruit juice). Sweet n' sour pork - nice light flavor, not too tangy. Potato pancakes - a little bland for me Smashed baby potatoes - really well done, loved the crispy bits. bacon - unlimited bacon! but there is a lady who doles it out but she was happy to give by 3 slices 3 different times. Sausage - BEST breakfast sausage I have ever had. Not fatty or greasy. Super nice flavor. Assorted fruit in fruit bowl - Was easy to pick out the fruit you wanted as long as you don't hold up the line. All cut up already into bite-sized pieces. freshly carved ham - really nice, not too salty, not dry. Omelettes fresh/on-demand - my aunt was really happy with hers. Overall 100% would recommend if you don't mind finding your own table, getting your own food, and doing a little waiting in line (there was aways a small line to move though the food). But no one rushes you to hurry and eat or even say there's a 2 hour limit.

This new grocery store sticks out in the neighbourhood with its neon green building colour, it's…read morereally hard to miss it! There's a lot of parking and the carts did not require coins (quarters) to use. COViD protocols are followed here and there was a person there to wipe down my cart before using. I wasn't sure what to expect cuz google reviews referred to it as a desi store, and their store opening neighbourhood mail out noted it was a south Asian grocer. I was pleasantly surprised that there's a ton of variety here catering to all sorts of Asian groceries as well as western groceries. The building is brightly lit and the produce is plentiful, fresh, lots of different kinds (including Asian veggies) and affordable (I saw no bruising or wilting on the fruits and veggies either). I'd say a large majority of the store caters to East Indians which suits the demographic here, but there was also lots of foods that specifically target Filipino, Korean, Chinese, etc. that would usually be found by going to multiple specialty shops...I'm glad it's like a one stop shop! There were a lot of discounted goods too and some even have stickers with additional savings at checkout; $5 fully decorated fudge cake?... Um yes please!! Honestly, I walked in for fruit and came out an hour later like a bandit! There's even some interesting flavours like fruit HP sauce, or masala smoked chicken deli meat. I am also impressed they sell a good variety of meat skewers and halal meat. They also sell reusable grocery bags if you forget your own, or you can ask for a box which is free. You can also opt to donate $10 for a mystery grocery food bag to be donated to the less fortunate fortunate. I'm pretty pumped that this place is so close to home, it might even become my new regular grocery store since there's so many new things I want to come back to try and add to the weekly family meal plan.

But No Frills had stock in sale items I wanted to purchase and I didn't find it dirty. The produce section had a great variety as good prices. I bought a huge tub of blueberries for $4! Some of the fruit didn't seem so great with bruises but most of it was fresh. Found lots of great buys including canned tuna for 97 cents, chicken drumsticks for less than $2/lb, 6 bagels for $1.67, margarine tub for $1, and other items for $1. Wow, great prices! There are some departments that were smaller than other stores including the meat and bakery. Bring your own bags or you can use the boxes they have. Parking lot is a zoo though, as we witnessed a few near accidents.

They also have amazing meat and bread. The cafe is lovely and resonable. And you can also get a beer, wine, or specialty pop as well. We went to the Ukrainian dinner and it was great for 25 bucks. We definately will be back although it is a bit of a drive. Although to be warned it is pricer than the regular grocery stores. I would say buy your staples somewhere else and grab the meat, bread, cheese, and health products here. And maybe have a nice lunch with a glass of wine. This is one of the few places where I go grocery shopping and leave more relaxed when I go in.

I happened to get her line. The cashier next to us made a comment that her coworker who was helping me was going to the bathroom, my cashier responded she was told she wasn't allowed. Excuse me? After I was done, I asked the poor young lady "Are they not allowing you to use the bathroom?" her response was "Because it is busy.". I was HORRIFIED this clearly had to be an oversight. So, when I got to my truck I called and asked to speak to the manager, he identified himself as Ryan. I explained my concern for the well being of staff and he was not interested in the least. When I pointed out that I can appreciate pushing full breaks back due to an increase in customers that is one thing, but restricting staff from using the bathroom is unacceptable, if not illegal. If it isn't illegal, it is defiantly immoral. I suggested that if it was so busy that staff could not use the washroom then maybe he should be out working the cash registers or ensuring adequate staff. Again, Ryan could not care any less and I called him out on that. After I got home and before I wrote this review, I down loaded my dashcam video that has Ryan displaying his toxic attitude and looked up regulations. This doesn't fall under labour standards but it sure as hell falls under Occupational Health and Safety. According to the Government of Canada's Centre for Occupational Health and Safety 'Employers cannot impose unreasonable restrictions on access to washrooms. Any limitations, such as requiring workers to wait excessive periods, restricting access based on productivity targets, or not providing facilities close enough to work areas, may violate workplace regulations. '. So, Ryan if you are reading this keep in mind that people don't quit companies they quit bad managers, which in my opinion you are a bad manager (and human) when you are restricting your employees from using the washroom when needed. Again, if it that busy then you should be out there helping and making sure your staff are treated with respect and dignity. Who knows how long this has been going on for because young adults don't know how their rights generally and there is a power imbalance between a middle aged man and a teenaged girl. I will not be returning to this location as long as this guy is the manager.
