Ehh..Got an hour foot massage and It was just okay

OMG! I just had the absolute BEST massage of my entire life at H Massage! Fiona was absolutely amazing!!! She hit every single area of my body that needed some help more than once after all of the built up stress that I have acquired during this busy work season. She was really sweet and the hot tea that she offered during my foot massage really hit the spot! I've had many massages at different places but this one took the cake. They were able to take me at the very last minute for a 2 hour combination massage (90 minute full body and 30 minute foot massage). The location is open late and they are not far from my home which makes it even better. I will definitely be back many, many times! The massage wasn't the best. They rust you in and out. I went with my sister and got a 30mins body massage and 30mins foot massage i think. When we getting our foot massage one of our masseuse starting to pause the massage and do other stuff like went and take a phone call and greet her appointment customer. I mean there were 3 people in the front desk and a manager there! I was kinda mad because my massage got shortened so I decide not to tip them as much as 20%, and the manager told us "you must tips them more than 20%"! Like what the heck? I hadnt had a massage in a few years ad needed one bad. Came here to get a deep tissue massage. It was so painful a few times I wanted to flip her off me. I was sore the next day. It hurt for me to press anything on my back. BUT my posture improved instantly. The next day i was walking with my shoulders back and stomache in without make a conscious effort! H-Massage was exactly what I needed! I walked in and was immediately greeted and asked, "Are you ready?" Indeed I was and while I wasn't sure what exactly to expect being my first time there, it was very easy and before I knew it I was getting my 1-hour full body massage from Laura and she did a fantastic job! The pressure was just right with a beautiful surprise of hot rocks at the end and I left feeling relaxed and sure I'll be returning as my experience there beat any places I've been to in a long time! My boyfriend & I had the couples massage & it was so not worth 100$. The massaged areas of the body were pretty much random. She didn't massage my feet. They asked us if we wanted oil & we agreed. Apparently she said it cost x amount of dollars but didn't understand b/c of the language barrier. I have never been anywhere u pay for oil. So BEWARE OIL MASSAGE IS EXTRA! Massages are great if you like a real pounding. Each person is different though so you might have to go a few times to find the best one for you. I love Jess and next time, will call ahead to make sure that I can get her. The place is clean and the ambiance is nice, except for the insanely loud toilet flush but who cares? This place is incredible relaxing. you come in and they have these SUPER comfy huge red chairs. You get hot tea and its just so nice and relaxing. Then the actual massage is super relaxing and the people are so nice. Lalala I liked it! read more

I went for the first time and got the back/foot combo for 1 hour. This was the best massage I've ever had and I've had quite a few since I get really tense shoulders and neck pain at times. My masseuse was very kind, thorough and great at giving the right pressure (a lot if necessary) and made sure I was comfortable. The only drawbacks are thin walls and decor could use some updating, but I really didn't mind since the massage was Heavenly. I will definitely be returning!!!! read more

I have never written a review for anything. But I had such a positive and unexpected experience I had to write. I went for the $40 special which is a 30 min foot and 30 min body massage. A great value and wonderful experience. Very gracious owners and staff. The 30 min basic massage was fantastic. They do offer Tai Massage-which they said is massage that includes stretching AND Walking On Your Back!! Wow! It is similar to the other places on Buford, that you walk in the door, and it is a dimly lit room with large massage chairs to the left of the room. A wooden screen gives a bit o privacy to the patrons in the chairs. The music is soft, like the lighting. The staff -unlike other places on Buford, are gracious and discreet. I went with another person so we asked for a couples massage. I did call in advance-just to assure that they would have two staff members available to attend to us. We went on a Friday nite and it was a bit busy. Not for the foot massages really, but more for the body massages. There is a glass door from the main lobby where foot massages are, leading to the rooms where body massages take place. So it is discrete. You do NOT get any sort of funny feeling like "are people back there getting "happy endings"? The husb and wife owners are very gracious and professional. The staff frequently checks to see if you are comfortable and refill your tea if needed. And if the massage pressure is ok. They also DID NOT chat among themselves in another language the entire time like has often happened at other places. I have been to 3 other places on Buford and some of them are listed here in the reviews. But for cleanliness, value and attentiveness I would rate this place TOPS! Today my husband and I wanted a massage and we decided to try H Massage for the first time. We called to make an appointment in advance. Upon walking in the door, we were immediately greeted in a very friendly manner and they even remembered the names we provided when I called in advance for the appmt. I got a one hour body massage from Jeff. The room was very clean. They had a leg pillow, towels, and nice sheets. Jeff did a great job on my massage making me feel comfortable and at ease and often checking to make sure the pressure was okay. My husband also had a body massage and he thought it was great (Coco was his masseuse). Then my husband went for the $25 foot massage. While waiting for him, I was given hot tea (lots of refills) and the owners even urged me to try a variety of Chinese dried berries because I inquired about the floating berry looking things in their tea pot. Everyone at H Massage is beyond accommodating- they are extremely dedicated to making the clients' massage experience outstanding. I can't wait to go back! read more

Decided to go here with my cousin for a girls day! It is located in a small shopping center next to a little convenient store-- I thought it was a little weird but whatever.....typical buford hwy shopping center. As soon as we walked in we noticed that people were getting foot massages in massage chairs in the main lobby. We decided to do a couples massage---so that we could be in the same room....We were escorted to a room that had pink walls and floral sheets on the massage table. I had to remind myself that I wanted an affordable massage and that I wasn't there for the atmosphere/decor. Long story short.......it was great! I got the hour long full body massage---it was a combination of deep tissue, swedish, and hot stone. I really wished we could have stayed for longer!! An hour just did not seem like it was enough. My masseuse's name was Julia, she was wonderful!! She had small but powerful hands!! Will definitely go back!! You can also bring your own wine/drinks, which I thought was pretty cool!! read more

After battling a stomach virus all week I was left with what I can only describe as a post stomach virus hangover- a dreadful dull ache at the top of my neck which was followed by intense back pain. I had been to H Massage before for foot massages so I checked out the other services offered on their website and decided to try a combo Thai and deep tissue massage. I called at 10:30 right when they opened and was greeted with a very friendly "Good morning!". They are very accommodating and easy to make an appointment with. I showed up on time, was greeted warmly and was taken right back to the room to get started. A guy named Ocean gave me the massage. He was very professional and nice and most importantly- very strong! I like my massages rough and he did not disappoint. He worked out the knots in my back- paying special attention to the really sore spots- getting in there deep with his elbows- it was INCREDIBLE! There is a lot of stretching involved in a Thai massage- it was quite intense- I didn't know if I could handle it a couple of times but I wanted to power through it and I'm glad I did because as soon as it was over the pain in my neck was gone and my back felt about 90% better. I actually walked out of the room feeling a bit high- THAT'S HOW GOOD IT WAS! Unless you're delicate and like only gentle relaxing massages- do yourself a favor and try this combo massage. I had a male masseuse and it was NOT good. So painful! When I told him it hurt he said ok and continue to massage so hard as if I was a male. I told him I'm a female please not so rough. I will never receive a massage from a male again after this experience. I'm still extremely sore from the massage. Waste of money I feel worst than when I came in! read more

This is my go-to spot for body massages. I have been coming here fairly regularly for the last year. Easy to get same day appointments and also have not had to wait long even when I have walked in without an appointment. I have always been impressed with the quality of the massages. If you are looking for a high-end spa atmosphere, this is not the place. But if what you want is a deep tissue massage in a clean and friendly environment with reasonable prices, then this is your place. read more

Was desperate for a massage and was not able to get reservations last minute, so tried this place on a whim based on the recommendations. I had a fantastic experience and will make this my first choice from now on. Sara was one of the best massage therapist I have had in years. She was trained in China and knew exactly what to do and could rival any therapist that would charge double. In fact, half way through, I requested to increase the time to 90 minutes. I have been to dozens of massage places throughout Atlanta in search of the perfect place to soothe my aches and pains and I finally found it. I did not try the foot massage, but next time I will try the 60 minute massage followed by 30 minute foot massage. read more

We had Jenny and Jessica (I think) for the thai/deep tissue combo - needless to say, these little ladies did quiet a number on us - which is a good thing in my eyes! We fell asleep during our massage, awoken and fell asleep AGAIN! - that's how good they were! After, we were met with calming tea to drink and a discount on our day's service.
