The inside is very clean and they took me right in. Definitely one of the best massages in a long time. Jennifer did such a good job on my sciatic nerve that I was pain free for days. Sophia was amazing! I didnt know what to expect getting a Thai massage but it definitely was worth it! I got the massage and the additional stretching for my sciatica! As soon as I walked in, one of the ladies asked "You want a massage?" and immediately shuffled me to the back. In my head I said "wait a minute... you havent even taken me on a date first." Haha but seriously.... I always bring my headphones to listen to my meditation music. Sophia stretched my back, hips and arms. This was the best massage I ever had. No cute frills, cause your eyes are closed anyway so who cares right? The establishment was clean and fresh, including the bathroom. I even caught myself snoring at one point. This review is NOT about their massage therapy abilities but instead their disrespect AFTER the massage was over. The 60 minute deep tissue massage came out to $70 and I tipped the therapist $10 which is 0.50c shy of 15%. As I'm walking away, she said "that's all...$10 dollars, I worked really hard!" (That's nearly 15%). She then proceeds to push the receipt back towards me and says "20%... you should tip 20%." I explained to her that an establishment shouldn't demand a customer to tip a certain amount, and she said 'something like' "next time 20%" as I was given my water bottle and waved goodbye. While I'll admit I was a bit light on my tip (didn't think about it much), this is super-rude. Also, while I was getting a massage, I overheard somebody else taking about a "tip" in the lobby, which I'm guessing was something similar. I could be wrong. Massage was great. read more

I booked through Classpass for an appointment. I arrived early. Turns out my appointment time was after they closed. I spoke with the owner on her way out and showed my appointment on my phone. She called a gentleman about the issue. I stated that I would contact classpass about the mishap which I did. I was livid because I drove an hour. Thank goodness I was early. A week later I get a late/cancel charge on my bank card. I was furious and emailed classpass. I then contacted H Spa and related the issue. She ignored me about the issue. I advised her that this was fraud. Luckily I have the emails through classpass about the debacle. This place is crooked and I'm livid about their dishonesty. I hope the Better Business Bureau pays attention. read more

There aren't too many massage spas in Richmond/Rosenburg so I gave H Spa a try today. I must say, this was definitely different from most massages I have had elsewhere. Unlike others where I felt "beat up" a bit, my knots were worked gently and persistently. Overall this was one of the most relaxing and thorough massages I have had in a long time. From the tips of my toes to my fingertips, Hot towels, hot stones, and fragrant essential oils were applied. I particularly enjoyed the hot wet towel wipe down and the care used to ensure I did not leave oily which allowed me to continue my day out. I will definitely be back. Thank you, Linda and staff. I've been to this place twice, and both times I have left dissatisfied. To begin with safety is not priority to them. Both times my masseuse left the room several times to attend to the door; this last time, the masseuse left the door wide open, greeted a male customer, and walked him back to his room. Thankfully, his room was before mine, if not, he would've walked by and saw me lying on the table. To top things off, my appt was for a 90 minute regular massage... I I was getting a massage and the gentleman a few doors down asked for extra oil and an extra towel after his massage had finished. The massage was really good. Definitely worked out the knotted muscles in my shoulders. Left feeling so much better. I would have given 5 stars but she neglected to massage my feet! Also because of the smallness of the business you can hear the phone ringing up front and a worker was hammering. Not the calmness you want during a massage.
