Absolute WORST service ever. I'm in the beauty industry and own a salon (we do not do hair), and cannot fathom treating a fist time client like this. I would never complain nor post a bad review about another business unless it was outstandingly horrific. Took 4 hours to do a partial highlight on my daughter, up charged without consent, & no visible highlights when she was done. Refused to do any sort of correction because I contacted them 2.5 days later and their policy is 48 hours, they give no refunds no matter what. The manager was belittling and rude and the owner refused to respond to any contact. First negative review I've left, it was that BAD. If I could leave a zero I would. read more

I LOVE how the color of my hair turned out! Unfortunately I think I was taken advantage of at the salon as I wasn't made aware of additional charges. My stylist said she would give me a "quick trim", like a millimeter off the back was taken off and I was charged for a $45 hair cut :/ when disputed, I was told they could do nothing about it because they use "thousand dollar shears to cut my hair". I have been to other salons where service is much greater value and they're more upfront about additional costs before they perform the service. While I am beyond happy with my color, the overall experience rubbed me the wrong way! Just a warning to younger people who can easily be taken advantage of, ask upfront about the cost before you let them do any service. read more

DO NOT make the dreaded mistake I made by choosing this salon. I will be wearing a ponytail for months after having my hair cut at H2H by Nikita. I had pictures of a particular hairstyle and she was sure she could do it. Not a difficult cut. My hair was just below my shoulders, one length. Told her not to cut it shorter than the top of my shoulders and layers were to be long. While shampooing my hair, the receptionist came back and started conversation with stylist that lasted my entire shampoo, which she was paying no attention to. That should have been my clue to leave, lack of attention to what she was doing. My hair cut....it is UNREAL! One side longer than the other and cut completely different from opposite side...the top layer is cut all over the place!! Some pieces 4-5 inches..layers next to that are maybe 3 inches long...front is cut just below my chin and back is minimally 2 inches longer. So, top layer is CHOPPED to pieces with under layer in back cut straight across and ends cut in a million different lengths....thinning shears, that she clearly didn't know how to use, I have areas where my hair is maybe 2 inches long where she cut through my hair with them!! The top layer of my hair is so short it doesn't even reach the TP of my ears! I can't even make sense of my hair!! I'm struggling to pull it back every day in a ponytail and spraying the top and sides to keep it in place. I am just SICK over it. I did speak to the 'manager'...she said she could try and straighten it up, that's 'all she could do.' I wanted my money back because I am definitely going to need to find someone to recut my hair..after it grows out a few inches! You really think I was going to be willing to let someone else in that salon touch my hair?? Please...go elsewhere to have your hair done! Great Clips would be a much better decision. read more

Horrific experience there. My daughter was there from. Open to close for a partial highlight. They made her hair red with a black stripe down the middle 4 inches wide. They fried her hair, try to charge over $800 dollars. They told her that since she was there all day that she was charged $100/hour for color correction instead. The owner said she would fix it but shed charge her to fix what her salon did. All my daughter had in her bank account was $400 & she had to pay it bc they wouldnt let her leave. NEW CLIENT!!! My first visit and appointment was in March 2020. I asked for a senior stylist and was given a brand new stylist. I asked for color, hair cut and style. I received the hair color, but it was washed out by freezing cold water, no haircut, not even blowed dried. It was towel dried and combed. I put it in a bun and left. I TRIED to give them another chance. I made an appointment not only for myself, but also for my daughter. I had to change my appointment due to work purposes. Unfortunately, I could not go and was not able to call them and cancel the appointment, due to a family emergency. I called them the next day to explain and apologize. Their response was, if you do it again, we will not let you make anymore appointments here. NOT, I'M SORRY about your loss or what happened. They were UNPROFESSIONAL and RUDE!!!! Not only will I NEVER go back again, but I also canceled my daughters appointment and I will let them know NEVER to go there. Your customer service is atrocious!!! Went there for a haircut/style for the first time. Loved the shampoo/scalp massage but I was there 30 minutes, hair still damp, told her it's still frizzy (probably because it wasn't dry) but she stated she didn't see what I see. I don't always think the customer is right, but I was there for only 30minutes and she didn't try to fix anything. Just weird. Don't think the haircut was bad- it was just a trim. Never been to a salon for such a short period of time. I'll have to go home and take a shower again to get all the hairspray out (why hairspray damp hair) and style it again. This is the worst salon that I have been to. I went in and asked for them to touch up my roots, so it matched my blonde hair. They did an overall color and my roots ended up orange. Called the salon and they said they would not give me a refund and they could not get me touched up before I was headed back to school. As crazy as this is about to sound I work in the mall at the Hamilton town center where her salon is closely located she was just out shopping when we ran into each other. I'm not too sure how our conversation got into and resulted in her cutting my hair on the spot, but she did!! I told her I always wanted bangs and was always unsure about it cause it's a very different style for me it took at but a minute for her to do and I am in love! I went to this salon multiple times the first couple of times wasn't bad I had a good experience other than the judgy atmosphere but, I scheduled a cut and all over color and the senior stylist doing my services was talking to her coworkers and eating the entire time so I only got my hair colored and some how the cut and styling was off the table now.. so I had to come back 3 weeks later to get my hair cut... I after that found a different salon. I decided to give them another shot because my salon couldn't get me in for a routine cut. So I booked a senior stylist or so I thought. I arrived at my appointment and they put me with a brand new stylist that just graduated a couple of months ago. That's fine as long as you know how to cut hair... I wanted layers and my curtain bangs cleaned up. This stylist proceeds to grand ALL of my hair at once and start hacking away... at this point I'm starting to get nervous... then my bangs. After hacking away at my hair she proceeds to try and style my hair using a brush and dryer ( expected) after attempting to do this for what seemed like 30 minutes she was frustrated and in the verge of tears and now being rude. After she gave up I was left with a tangled mess and my hair felt like straw. I reluctantly paid the 50$ and left to go home and re wash my hair and dry it. This is when I now notice that the left side of my hair is a completely different length than the right and my bangs look like stairs...so of course I called the salon to try and get it fixed and they want the same girl to fix it but obviously I wasn't comfortable with that option so to have another stylist fix the mess in my head it would be an additional charge... and after voicing my concerns about this I was spoken to rudely and hung up on. read more

Let me start out by saying Raina is amazing and no way whatsoever does this post pertain to her! I will miss Raina! So.....it is prom season. Stay away from this salon for prom or your kiddo will not have a good start to their prom day! This is the style my daughter wanted......and did not get. See blonde pic attached! This is what she got.... see brown hair pic attached.!!!! My stylist Raina was not available so we scheduled with Abby and I was quoted $60 for the hairdo. I called the morning of my daughters appointment to see if she should wash hair or not. They said come washed and air dried. I said ok we will see you at 11:15 am and the receptionist said we have her down for 1:45 pm. I said no... 11:15 am. She said oh yes, I see it says 11:15 with Sylvia. I said no, it is with Abby. She said we had to switch her to Sylvia today because Abby had a balayage color scheduled and won't have time to do your daughter's hair. They never informed me of this or the price changing from $60 to $105 prior to me calling the morning of. We had no choice as it was approx. one hour prior to my daughter's appointment and our day was packed with scheduled events prior to dinner and prom. I dropped my daughter off at the door, parked and came in. Sylvia did her hair and it was not looking good. Sylvia was telling me what to do to fix it at home, spray and lift here and there, etc... I shouldn't have to worry about fixing it before prom. Isn't that what we pay for??? Pay for is right!!!!?!!?! After they switched stylist without noticed, they also failed to tell me that she was going to be $45 more than Abby. So, when I went up to pay, they said "the total is $105". I said, no.... I was quoted $60 dollars and that is what I agreed to. They told me Sylvia charges more because she is at a higher experience level. I asked her to double check. She went to the back and came back up to the front and said "your total is $105 and that is what I have to charge you". I said "you are kidding, right"? She said "I don't set the pricing and cannot change it". I walked back and asked Sylvia and she also said "I charge more than Abby and it's $105, I don't set the price". I then asked the receptionist if Holly (the owner) was there and she said "no, she is not". She said "I have to charge you the $105". I said "ok whatever, this is not fair, this is not what I was quoted, can you give me Holly's cell number, please and I will take this up with her"? She did, I called and left a voicemail on Holly's cell and never heard back from Holly. So I texted my concerns to Holly and she never replied. So, I left with my daughter and decided to call the salon after bobby pins were falling out of her hair and her hair was looking a hot mess! I asked to speak with a manager and she said my only choice is to come back in there and have somebody else redo it and they will switch the price to $60 and reimburse me $45 or I will get no refund at all. I was stuck. In order for me to get some reimbursement I had to agree to bring my daughter back in to get it fixed. We were disgusted and embarrassed at this point! I'm stressed, my daughter is stressed and upset because now we are behind on schedule and I have to wait until 12:45 pm to have somebody redo her hair to get my reimbursement of $45. As I pulled up at 12:45 pm I had a missed call from the salon so I called them back and the manager Liza told me that she just spoke to Holly about the situation and Holly told her to tell me that they would reimburse me but I am no longer welcome in their establishment for any services. So, I went in to get my reimbursement of $105 and they would only reimburse $45. This is such a bad business. Not only did I lose $60, But I had to go home and redo my daughters hair for prom. I think they owe me the $60 or they could have paid for my daughter's dinner and some!!! WORST experience ever!!!! How was I in the wrong???? read more

She goes to the back and disappears for few minutes. When she returns she says we have been trying to call you since Friday. Mind you my appointment was on Sunday afternoon and I got the text on Saturday. The receptionist says we left you multiple messages. I said what is your number? She reads it off. I said nope. No voicemail message from you guys. Granted I know you can say hey Joey you deleted them. I have an iPhone the last voice mail I got from anybody was on 12/28/18. Not 1/any/19. So I said what days did you call. They say Thursday, Friday, Saturday. I say. Why did I get this text message from you asking me to confirm. So I don't do anything. They didn't try to reschedule me or compensate me for their mess up. But obviously I offended one of the stylists. She must have been a snowflake. Cuz I use that term more than any other. read more

The atmosphere is very relaxing and peaceful. I love that this is an Aveda Salon and everyone there seems super nice. It was my first time ever going to H2H and while I usually wouldn't just trust anyone with my hair I took a chance. My review is split both ways. I received full highlights and a cut. I love the color hate the cut. It took Holly four hours to color my hair. Even in the depths of coloring from dark to blonde I've never spent four hours at a salon. The cut seemed great while I was there.. then fast forward to putting my hair up and it's cut short in places that do not make sense. Why is it super short behind, BEHIND my ears?! This is SO annoying to someone who wants all length and didn't ask for layers. She also cut up my hair which seemed strange. Almost like she was cutting the "fly sways" idk. Point is even with loving my color I wouldn't go back their because I'm so annoyed with how long it took and the hair cut. The color... the color was perfect and I love it! It's seriously just what I wanted. So while it took forever it did turn out great. I followed a stylist to H2H. When she left I decided to stay on with someone else. This experience was terrible. I left that appointment with color still in my hair, not asked how I wanted my hair styled and forced to have to shower immediately to get the color out so that it didn't ruin my clothes and other things. The worst hair experience I have ever received. I have had colored blonde hair for several years. My first time at this salon, I came in for a color retouch. Jolee colored my hair and it turned out orange. I went home. Hoped the orange would fade and it would not. I called in a few days later and asked if I could get my hair corrected. I asked if I would need to pay the second time to have it fixed. The girl on the phone checked and got back on the phone and said no, I would not need to pay for the correction. I came in and my hair was recolored. I went up front, rescheduled for a six week appt with the girl who corrected my hair. The receptionist started to add up my total for the day, I stated that I had called and asked if payment would be required and was told no. She checked again, came back and said no I did not need to pay for the correction. I scheduled my appt and left. The following day, the receptionist called me and stated that the owner no longer wanted to do business with me and they were cancelling my scheduled appt for six weeks. I asked why and she said she didn't have all the details, but that I was required to pay for the correction because it was past their 48 hour window. I told her I asked twice and was told each time that I did not have to pay. I then asked to have the owner call me. I have not heard from her. The worst customer service I have ever received. It was there mistake in turning my hair orange, miscommunications on their billing policy and then terrible treatment of their customer. I am incredibly disappointed. read more

How the owner treated me as a pregnant woman is unbelievable. The worst experience EVER! Robbie was my stylist and was supposed to give me a cut and balayage. My haircut is uneven, choppy, and not even close to the haircut I asked for. The balayage.. HORRENDOUS!!!! Was supposed to be platinum colored, is a dark Carmel color, not blended, splotchy, my hair literally looks like I got drunk and did my hair at home. Robbie was sweet and friendly, until she realized she screwed up then wouldn't speak to me. To make matters worse, I spoke to the manager Liza about how to fix my hair and asked for a discount because I had to look disgusting for the next 2 weeks which they told me I had to wait before they could re-treat my hair, she with an awful attitude informed me that the prices were non-negotiable and refused to listen to what I had to say. She then called the owner who sounded like she just finished smoking a carton of cigarettes, told me if I didn't leave her salon she would call the police. I agreed to her calling the police because I wasn't going to allow them to bully me. She decided she didn't want police in front of her salon and I as a pregnant woman didn't want the stress, so I paid the ridiculous amount of $120 and left. Since walking out I feel robbed and look hideous. I wish sPLEASE READ THE OTHER REVIEWS ON YELP AND GOOGLE BEFORE YOU GO!!! I had the most amazing experience yesterday getting my hair done. I knew the stylist I was going to see but I had never been here before. I was recommended color that wouldn't be too drastic as I was trying to lighten my hair from dark brown. My feelings on how I felt about my hair were very important to everyone not just my stylist. Aveda color is very customizable to anyone and they did a great job of taking my dark brown hair and making it lighter in just one sitting without making me look like a shunk. I will for sure be back for more work to lighten my hair but I am excited about my experience. With your treatment you get fruit infused water, a mini facial and they have the most amazing shampoo chairs. I loved it here and it was great for a mom who needed to relax and just be herself. read more

The salon was clean but that's about all the positives I could find. My stylist was clearly inexperienced. Everything seemed alright until we got to the shampoo bowl to rinse and tone my hair after bleaching. Water and chemicals were splashed in my face constantly. When it actually got in my eye and I said it was burning my stylist didn't stop what she was doing and offer a towel or see if I needed to get to the bathroom to rinse my eye. I had to ask for a towel to dab my eye and wipe my face off. Even as I'm tending to my eye she still did not stop. Once we got back to the chair it was discovered that there were white patches in my hair where she didn't get the toner applied. She blamed my hair for not being receptive. I've never had this problem of unreceptive hair before, lol. The owner of the salon made suggestions to her to help fix it. More bleaching product was applied. The stylist was not able to finish as she had another appointment so another gal took over to rinse my hair a second time but she did not get all bleaching product out and as she was drying my hair was using a wet towel to try to wipe out the extra bleaching agent. When she finally decided I was done the original stylist and salon owner came over and oohed and awed over how good it looked. My hair has an orange tone to it and still has white spots in the back close to my scalp. I noted that the underside of my hair at my neck was sticky from product being left behind. The owner felt it and agreed and said she'd wash it again. I declined as I just wanted to get out of there at that point. Long story short is that I am very disappointed with the skill and service of the salon. I will not be going back to get a color fix as I do not want to add insult to my already injured hair. I will not be going back for any services at this salon. I guess I need to sit down and have a talk with my hair for it acting up today and not being "receptive" after 20 plus years of never having this issue. read more

thank you H2H! after a great clips disaster you guys were life savers at 7:30 at night! great clips cut my hair and made it uneven, layered incorrectly, and cut my long hair off. so i got home and saw this and started crying. i've never seen something so obviously horrendous. so my dad called H2H and got me in for 20 minutes after i found out. i get there and i get treated like i'm supposed to. shampooed conditioned and styled. i walked in and felt like we all were best friends already. i thought i was going to go to a salon to get this fixed and then not come back but i'm definitely coming back! read more
