That someone was Mike Powers. From our very first conversation I could tell that Mike really cared about his customers. He listened to all of my concerns regarding the toxic mold we had in our home, and really made me feel like he cared about me, and my family's concerns and safety. He addressed my concerns promptly coming out that Monday to give and estimate and evaluate the situation. By Tuesday he and his crew were back to tackle the problem. We gave them full access to our home while we stayed at a hotel, and I am happy to say that all of our personal belongings remained fine and intact. The best part of it all...when we had our next air test, all of the toxic mold was gone!! They were able to eliminate it all...something that another local company tried to do, but was unsuccessful in their efforts. I would highly recommended Mike and his crew. Had him inspect and pump septic tank on October 11th, 2024. Read report. And question the building Inspector, Brandon Morrison, who recommended Todd Freeberg about the wording on pumping 10%. Todd told Mr Morrison that's the way they worded it on all their reports. 10% left in tank. Meaning they pumped 90% out. Right?.. Well Todd Freeberg came out on November 24, 2025 to do location on septic. Flag septic location. Charged us $300.00 to put down 6 flags around top. NEVERING Giving us a receipt for said work. We had some other issues our contractor had his plumber on site and he checked septic this morning and it's FULL.

In all of my 40 years working in mechanical engineer field, and building houses, I've NEVER had a contractor this bad. First off, I told him what my budget was, and he said he thought he could do it for that. When he "almost" finished (he ever finished) the installation, he handed me a bill that was MORE than double what we agree on. But given the time he spent, I didn't argue with it, I paid it. When we cranked the system up, it started blowing hot air even when the cooling was on. That told me the emergency heat strip was on. My $280 electric bill for 4 days running also confirmed this, and we had not yet moved into the house. He wired it wrong! Heat strips running 24/7 has burned more than one house down, not to mention the four digit electric bill's you'll get. Now the lies start - I ask him to come out and correct it. He said that he would, and said he would be out Saturday morning. He texted me and told me he had an emergency job he had to take care of, and I understood. The next week, he said he would be out on Saturday. Saturday comes, and he texted me and said he had another emergency. The following week, he said Saturday, and a no show. Two weeks later he said he would be out Saturday, he texted me saying he had an emergency and would get back to me. The problem is he kept having the same exact emergency with the same client, and even said that THAT client was more important than I was. This last exchange was Oct. 14th, and as I write this, it's March 23rd, over 6-months! He also admitted he broke the TXV valve, so he knew of this issue as well. Totally Trashy - Mr. Kinney also decided to clean his work van out since I wasn't around that day, and throw the trash in half of a bay in my garage for my wife and I to pick up. In the three foot pile of thash, was over two cases of Miller Lite beer cans (DUI???), over a carton worth of cigarette butts (he constantly smokes), rancid food, parts from toilets, insulation, metal duct, pieces of broken used sewer pipe, oil, and who knows what else was in all of that. There was so much trash that it filled four 55-gallon contractor trash bags. Oil and liquid from the food bags, beer, etc. penetrated the concrete, and the smell is still there to this day, and we can't get it out. I will be filing a complaint with the South Carolina licensing board against him, and my attorney has been made aware of this as well. I called him and he picked up right away. He answered all of my concerns about the type of disposal I currently had and what I needed. I told him I'd call him back once I got my spouses opinion on what to do next. Next thing I know, Mark texts me back after i sent him pics of my current plumbing issue and he tells me upfront possible cost of the item, how long it may take for the install and removal, and cost for labor. Even though I decided I wanted to attempt to install it myself later on during the day, there were no hard feelings and he remained professional and informative throughout our interactions. I have his phone number saved for future plumbing needs. I appreciate his patience with me and I would recommend him to anyone.

He asked some basic questions and got off with me and sent a guy out! By 2:30am they has come in, signed paperwork, got all my insurance information to help me with a claim, walked me through what to expect and started to get all the water up! They walked me through every step of the process and I felt like they really were there to help! These guys are awesome and even recommended someone for the repairs I needed after everything was cleaned up! I highly recommend calling them if you need help with water
