Normally I wouldn't set foot in this place populated by well-to-do working folk in a semi-posh wine bar. However, my friend works here, which gets me some conversation (she never shuts up), cheap drinks and free fries if I ever buy some food. On the whole, the food isn't that bad, but it's not that much of a step up from typical Weatherspoon's food (except in price), so I'm not sure I'd go out of my way to recommend this place. It's always packed on Friday and Saturday nights, so I would particularly avoid it at these times, but maybe it's worth a quiet drink with some mates at any other time. read more
