As a paying customer, my name has actually been mentioned regarding conversations I have with the nail technician. I feel like I'm in the middle of a war between the ladies downstairs and upstairs. As a customer, I no longer feel comfortable coming into the salon. I will engage in typical everyday conversation with the technician (its always been everyday conversation), when I am there. My name was brought up to my technician as our conversations were reported as not appropriate, which is ridiculous. I am a paying customer, with no more than a nail technician to customer relationship in that salon. I have been going to Instyle since Sofie and Amy were there and I have worked with Claire as well, who I really like. I will never go back again due to the ongoing issues with gossip and complaints. When I am there, I am uncomfortable and worried, I will be called out about talking too loud or walking too loud across the floor upstairs. I have never had an experience anywhere like this before in my life. If there are issues amongst employees, that's one thing and its bound to happen; however, it should never EVER involve paying customers.

The spa is very modern and a relaxing oasis as soon as you walk in. The lockers were easy to use and the relaxation room has snacks and beverages to enjoy. I always get the cinnamon tea. It's delish. I'm not sure why this location asked, because they didn't seem to follow anything I wrote. This was for my boyfriend's birthday and his name was not on the sign when we walked in, despite me listing that in the paperwork. In the past for my birthday, I have also gotten a card. But nothing here. My boyfriend also didn't want his feet touched and that was also listed in the paperwork. Unfortunately that was not followed. We were brought to our locker rooms and they were clean, had our names and chocolates in the lockers. Very nice touch! Our robe sizes and slides were also in our lockers. There is a large shower, 2 bathroom stalls and vanity with make up lighting. We then walked to the lobby area. This was where we started to have thoughts. Employees were talking in full volume. Not very relaxing. They also kept coming in and out of the room, talking, stocking snacks constantly! Again not very relaxing. The water was nice with a lemon. My boyfriend went to get water for hot tea but the water was room temp. Not very comforting. The massages were nice. I had Ingrid and she was lovely! She did a great job and was soft in speaking during the massage. My boyfriend said his massage therapist was talking at normal volume and didn't find it as relaxing. Afterwards we said in the lobby area again. In my opinion, the fireplace at maple grove is more welcoming and comforting. This place had what looked like a diffuser and eventually it turned off and started beeping. Again not relaxing. The lobby area is also larger at the maple grove location. This location left me a bit perplexed as to why the reviews are better here than at the maple grove location....
