If I could give less stars than 1, I would. I loved this dentist for my daughter. Very good with kids. The receptionists let me know they accept my son's insurance. I had my appointment and was billed 1,000 dollars. I was then told they do not take my insurance at all. They refused to listen to me when I explained my son was having pain in his teeth. They drilled a chip in his front tooth and tried filling it. That came out within a week. They did it again and the same issue. I was told not to worry about it, it's fine. His tooth is now breaking down and causing a ton of pain and they refused to help. They even canceled my children's future cleanings. Awful to work with and care solely on the bill they can send you. I had a terrible experience with this office (Nashua location) father was rudely pushed out of the room during a sedation procedure. Nobody explained the process. They just started pushing him out the room with no regard if he had fear or an anxiety towards it I mean, you're literally watching your child be put to sleep for the first time after that Doctor has himself came and apologized I assumed everything was good. I called to reschedule an appointment for my son. months later I'm being told oh the anesthesiologist no longer wants to work with your family so now they're telling me I have to drive an hour to Concord to get work done. Mind you I had already been back to that office so why now am I all of a sudden not allowed back in the office? I called. I'm met with rude receptionist, rude people just telling me essentially just go figure it out and go find a new office it's crazy because I really in the beginning. Thought Haas was a good office but sometimes when you have the wrong people working in a good place, you don't get good service so beware of this dental office do not book with the Nashua location. read more

Been taking my daughter here for a while now. She doesn't have that same dread that most kids have when going to the dentist. This place provides phenomenal care to the point that I get jealous as a parent. I wish I had this when I was a kid. The staff to include the front desk are always pleasant and really try to put the kids at ease. I've always been impressed by every visit whether it be a cleaning or a filling. This will be a place we continue to bring our kids. read more

They lost me and my family of 4 as a customer today. They have a system that you are supposed to text to say "here" so they can let you know when to come in. Well I texted at 12:28 for my son's 12:30 appointment... I called at 12:45 since I never got a text back to come in. And then they told me that we could not be seen because it was now 15 min past the appointment start time. I was there ON TIME, and followed the process and then got turned away. They didn't try to rectify the situation and continued to give ME attitude for the situation. read more

i was removed from the practice do to my 3 yr old having a melt down and didnt want to go they removed the whole family with some bogus allegation that we missed 3 appointments and never rescheduled which is a lie do to the fact my 7 yr old son has dental issues so my reason to put a review is because Marsha who works in the pediatric dept decided to have a power trip and remove me from the office as well which i never miss my appt i also pay to have my teeth cleaned in between my 6 month visit but thats ok she wanted a power trip i will bring my family to a different practice where we are valued if you dont have patients you wont have a business so leave your power trip at home because Dr Haas has no idea whats going on in the front office and its sad i just noticed a 3&1/2 star rating take that seriously that office staff sucks read more

We took our twins here for an initial visit when they were under 2, that was wonderful, and today we went for their first real cleaning now that they are over 2. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming kid friendly location. Kids did great, and was in and out very quickly. Highly recommend. read more

This is by far the best dentist around. I brought two and four year old today for the second time. My four year old did AMAZING sitting in his chair. My daughter, not so much. However, the dental assistant (not sure of exact title) was awesome and patient. As my daughter was being difficult and I held her, the dental assistant kept asking me if I was okay!! It was so nice to hear that and make sure I was okay with letting her do a quick cleaning while my daughter cried. Aside from my daughter not liking the actual cleaning, both kids had a blast picking out their toys and playing in the waiting area. I was even convinced to let them stay for a couple more minutes after the appointment so they could play a little longer. Haas is just a great place for children and everyone has a way with making kids and parents feel comfortable. I can't see us every going to another dentist...my son already asked if we can go back tomorrow!! haha read more

My children go to the pediatric office and they are wonderful with them. It is important to note that they do not consider your individual insurance, for example, unless explicitly told otherwise, they will apply fluoride whether or not it is covered by your child's insurance. But they are great with my kids, so it's worth that little hassle. The general dentistry team is outstanding. From the assistants to hygienists (Sharon in particular) and Dr. Dentino. They are all knowledgeable and supportive. I experienced a reaction to a numbing medicine at my last visit and felt that Dr. Dentino, her assistant and the hygienists were interested, concerned, caring, and well equipped to handle the urgent matter. This place is super kid friendly ! You name it they do it here for the kids. My daughter is 20 now but I been taking her since she was 2 till 18 now I have 2 other kids 3 and 9 one special needs . They go above and beyond to help me with him. I am so thankful to have a place to take my kids to feel great about going to the dentist. read more

This review is for the Pediatric side. I've been taking my son there for about one year. (He's almost 3.) He was a skittish toddler when he first went there, but their staff is so wonderful that going there now isn't scary. They have a lot of toys and activities for kids starting in the waiting room, all the way to the exam rooms. Their staff is very patient and approachable to little ones. They have great suggestions for parents and I never find myself having to ask questions since they are so helpful and informative. Going to the dentist might not be as fun as a day at Canobie Lake Park, but Hass Dental definitely makes those dental visits much easier! read more

a year ago I would have recommended Haas Dental to anyone, now I would never. in the last year the dentist I was seeing left the practice and was replaced with Dr Dentino who could not consistently tell me whether I needed a filling or a root canal or an extraction. Dental visits can be stressful enough but when your provider can't keep straight what the treatment plan is and varies between two very different procedures, filling vs root canal, the experience becomes even worse. The receptionist in the adult area is also new and has been incredibly rude from the first time I spoke with her, frequently cutting me off in the middle of a sentence and by the tone in her voice it is clear that she doesn't care about patient experience and is just there to answer a phone and makes up charges that are listed nowhere in the website and not included in a treatment plan that Dr Dentino and her assistant put together. The last time I was in there were also some kind of bugs running around in the lights, they looked like a silverfish or maybe a house centipede? Either way that doesn't instill much confidence in your patients to have bugs running above them during an exam. Haas Dental has clearly made some staff changes that are negatively impacting their business and are not keeping the office clean, I'm not sure which one is more concerning but I have reported them for the bugs and I would suggest looking elsewhere for a dentist unless you enjoy be treated terribly. read more

I was very upset to wait three months for a first time patient visit only to have the office call me two days before to cancel my appointment. That is so very unprofessional and inconsiderate. I was hesitant to wait three months for an appointment but thought the wait would be worth it. In my opinion and if I were the dentist, I would have made sure that a first time patient was not canceled on in the first place. However, if cancelling was absolutely an emergency, the practice should have made sure this potential new patient was seen at the patients earliest convenience. This was not offered to me. The office only mentioned they were sorry and that I would need to reschedule...unacceptable! I guess they are receiving enough money from their regular patients. I am not one to write a review, however Their policy on cancellations and lack of accommodating me has forced me to seek another dentist and write this review. By the way, the only reason I placed a one star rating is so that attention would be more guaranteed. Truth be told...there should be a negative star option. read more

Horrific Customer Service. Dr. Haas performed my son's restoration services and is great. However, the office is extremely incompetent, as there exist many issues that need to be addressed. My wife had to frequently call to in order to make an appointment. Arika, is horrible and in my professional opinion, she needs to be fired. She has repeatedly failed to return calls, when she says, failure to communicate with other staff. She and the office has failed to provide us with an itemized invoice as requested numerous times. We had to call the office after my son was out the hospital to make payment for the services rendered. They did not even have a bill ready for us to pay. My son had a follow-up appointment with Dr. Haas to see how he was doing post-op yet the office called to cancel his appointment since we had not paid the bill. They were completely unaware that no bill existed yet, nor did we receive an invoice. Once that was sorted out, we received a bill and made payment. We were told that this was a final bill and that it did include the additional work done in the OR. So we paid the final bill in full. Later we received a surprise invoice for an extra cost and 60 days later we just received the long overdue itemized invoice. Also, they have charged us a finance charge even though they have refused to send an invoice over to us. There is a complete lack of ownership at this facility as the numerous people we have dealt with simply blame others and pass off the calls to others. Too many times we were told that Arika is horrible and was on a medical leave. Granted, Arika called us 15 minutes till closing to notify us that our sons surgery was rescheduled and that she was going back on vacation for a week. Well, there was no person able to assist us with rescheduling. I have repeatedly request to speak with Dr. Haas for over 60 days now, and to my knowledge he is completely unaware of our experience and the run a round his staff is giving us. We were notified that the Practice Manager, Chrissy, would contact us, yet it has been a week since that email and we have yet to hear anything back. I will next launch a complaint with the better business bureau. Based on our experiences, we can't recommend taking any children here until she is terminated and serious restructuring occurs. There is a complete lack of communication and a failure to follow protocols, not to mention the HIPPA violations. read more

Everyone there has smiles on their faces greeting you throughout & when dealing with each hygienist you feel well taken care of. They get you in & out in an efficient manner all along explaining every step while checking in with your comfort. My hygienist Bri keeps me well informed about x-rays, cleaning & options when a filling is required all the while being as friendly as can be!. Dr. Darcy is always on top of her game as she bounces from room to room checking on patients of performing a procedure. Either way these two work amazing together!! Over $1,000 for 2 fillings on baby teeth. My 5 year old was very afraid of the dentist and they did not make her feel comfortable. Dr. Haas was very abrupt and rude with her. He said he needed to "take command" of the situation so she wouldn't move. The rest of the staff was not much better. I could hear them sitting around talking badly and making fun of people. I will never ever go back and I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

I had been going to Haas dental for years with out any complaints until the past 6 months. I am not sure if there has been staff changes but their customer service has gone straight downhill. They had provided some work and gave me an estimate of what my out of pocket would cost and what my insurance would cover, come to find out my insurance only covered about 15% of the total cost of what they had said my insurance would cover because it was not necessary work. Now I owe a lot more money....... I have called and left numerous messages to discuss my bill, tried to make payment arrangements etc they won't return my call. I WILL NEVER GO BACK NOR RECOMMEND THEM TO MY WORST ENEMY. They ONLY care about making money, and will do unnecessary work to get an extra buck......... DON'T GO HERE read more

The service here is above and beyond. The whole staff is amazing with my two children. They have cool games and tvs for the kids to be distracted. They even have a therapy dog named honey. They have a cool point system that gets the kids excited to brush! I could go on and on . I promise if your looking for a dentist you should absolutely choose this one. read more

HORRIFIC experience with Haas Dental! Dr. Jim Haas came in in a bad mood. He didn't give my 4 year old daughter much time with the gas before he got started - as he had the time before. So she was less relaxed and prepared. He just plowed on without reassuring her or making sure she was OK. And she was not. When we had the first side of her mouth worked on, we were amazed at how well she did. She was so relaxed, she was trying to sing along to the Frozen movie she was watching. The second visit for the other side was very different. When she became upset, instead of letting her have a minute to calm down - or even figuring out what was bothering her - he threatened her to stop crying or he would cover her mouth with the mask, and he roughly pushed her nose closed to make her breathe through her mouth. She didn't even understand what the mask did, and she certainly didn't understand why he was covering her mouth and closing her nose which felt like smothering to her. When I tried to calm her down, he told me to "get out of my space." I would have taken her immediately out, but he was in the middle of the procedure, with her tooth open and exposed. We were stuck in a horrible position. At the end, he was mad and actually walked out. She was very upset and bleeding. The doctor replied that gums bleed every time a crown is done. It didn't last time, or at least he removed the blood before it became a problem. He just left her mouth bleeding and walked away. I persisted and he begrudgingly swabbed her mouth out. I had to ask the assistant for water to wash out her mouth with. We tried to call the office manager to relay our experience and express our unhappiness. They never called back. Money driven. Not really into being scolded about having a child's cavity taken care of sooner, but upon second opinion, the "cavity" wasn't there is the first place. Pushy with excessive "treatment" plans. More expensive than any other dentist in the area. read more
