This is my favorite liquor store in Savannah and also my favorite location (they have a store on habersham). I like this store because they almost always have what I am looking for whether that be a type of beer, wine or liquor. And the prices are the best I have found around. It's clean and feels safe. They also have a great selection of mixers and garnishes. My only critique would be that I wish I could sometimes get bags instead of boxes. The boxes are sometimes way too heavy for me. They will carry it out for me but then there is getting it into your house. read more

Absolutely perfect for the craft beer lover in your life! I have been to quite a bit of liquor stores, as a craft beer aficionado. I can tell you this is the best I have experienced to date. They have a special when it comes to pick-sixers that makes them the more cost-effective place to buy beer from. I wish there were stores in FL, but it appears that Habersham's are in GA. As while my son is stationed in GA I think I will be visiting this for my every craft beer need. read more

This is a decent sized store, but I got spoiled living in Savannah with Total Wine, so I am giving it 4 stars because they didn't have a huge variety. Also every bottle was $2-$5 higher. Groceries are the same here, so I don't think it's a higher cost of living thing. They didn't have Kah and I need the red one. They did have Crystal Head, already gave it. The store is nicely laid out and the employees were cheerful and helpful. I was surprised they didn't have more gift sets, I located 7 total in the liquor side of the store. read more

If you are looking for something hard to find or from another country, Habersham Beverage Warehouse may have it in stock. They have rows and rows of wine and liquor from almost every part of the world you can imagine. I needed some Brazilian cachaca and lo and behold they had it! And they had more than one option which was a good surprise. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful so feel free to call ahead or stop in to ask. Talk about southern charm. This beverage depot would has a 5 star selection. They may not have every single item you can imagine, but if they don't they have a close substitute. They have numerous varieties of all liquors. The real standout though isn't the selection despite its vastness, but rather how unbelievably friendly and knowledgeable the staff is. They are great. It's the holidays and I really wanted to surprise my family with an exotic variety of spirits. I came here and this was a good place for me to accomplish my goal. I drove past this store plenty of times, but a friend recommended that I stop by and give them a try. They didn't have what I wanted but very few places do. I did walk away with a great package which was a lot of fun for us when we finally had a chance to sample it. The workers were very helpful as they actually looked up the items that I'm interested in, with hopes of trying to acquire them for me in the very near future. This place has a very large selection of liquor and beer. Plus they will give you a price cut if you buy a case of liquor, I found them to be $3 to $4 a bottle less than some of the big store in Atlanta Georgia was. So this is my store to buy all my liquor from now on. Thank you guys for a great selection at a really great price. read more

If you're looking to stock up for a party or you're looking for something more obscure, this is the place to go! Definitely the biggest liquor store I've seen in Savannah and also the widest selection of beer and wine-- bigger than the sister store on Habersham even. I've noticed that the liquor selection, while better than anywhere else in Savannah, is not quite as expansive as the beer and wine selection. One cool thing about the beer is that they have an entire row of fridges in the back, so a good deal of the beer they carry is cold. Although, if you're looking for something a little more off the beaten path, chances are it'll be on the shelves in front of the fridges and not so cold. They also have a little tags with various ratings and descriptions, which can be quite helpful if you're looking to try something new. read more

AMAZING! I have yet to find a place in Savannah that has a larger selection and/or that is less expensive. We definitely stocked up on just about every aisle. The other good part about this place is that EVERYONE is extremely friendly and willing to help. They search you out if you have an questions. One of the best selections of alcohol in Savannah. I went here specifically for the craft beer selection, which is on par with Lucky's and Whole Foods, my usual mainstays for hard-to-find beer. These guys had everything sold at both locations, and had every offering of all the local breweries like Westbrook, Service, Sweetwater, and Monday Night. The prices are competitive with those stores and the on-post sales at Hunter Army Airfield. read more

Alabama is not the place to buy liquor. The idea of a state liquor store is almost communist to me. Prices are high and there are NEVER any sales or other markdowns. Why would there be? They insure they have no competition. Therefore, I do not usually buy liquor in Alabama, either in ABC stores or at restaurants, all of whom must buy through the state. It is my vote for capitalism. Spec's in Houston (and, elsewhere in Texas) has much lower prices as does Tower Liquor in Atlanta (2 locations). Okay, this is a review about Habersham. Prices at Habersham are lower than the other two discount sellers I just mentioned. If you are close to Savannah, this is a good choice for stocking up on liquor. They have a large selection, and, will probably have what you want. read more

When you're in Savannah and you need BOOZE of any kind, come on down! This place is so big that when I walked in, it felt like I was in a grocery store in the Northeast. Not like Total Wine big, but low ceiling, florescent lights long corridors of shelves big. And I liked that feeling. From liquor to wine to beers, this place doesn't have it all but it does have almost everything you might be looking for. In wine, they have every kind imaginable from prices $4-$100+. Beers are cold and room temp with a healthy imported section (heavy on Germans) and a huge domestic aisle (sadly no Cigar City). I didn't look much at the liquor, but the pricing seemed average to this NC girl who buys her liquor is SC so that probably means it's pretty cheap compared to wherever you're from. While the staff didn't speak to us, there was a lot of people there if you needed them. We'd come back for sure and this would be a great place to stock up for parties, weddings & gifts! read more

I visited the place because it had such rave reviews about its liquor section. While it might be above par of the area it isn't that impressive in the grad scheme of Georgia liquor stores. Now, if you are looking for beer or wine you'll find this is a sold place. They have great selection of both and the prices are reasonable for everything. They don't really seem to carry seasonal products, but that may not be true year round. read more

I feel like a kid in a candy store when I walk in. More beers from more breweries, from more countries than I could want. I am a big stout guy, sometimes I get tired of the bitterness of Guiness and start searching for a new stout. I find them here Murphy's Irish Stout smooth and creamy, oat meal stouts... you name it. I just moved here from Austin, TX, had the opportunity to meet wine manager Ken Bontempo, while shopping with my wife. He is a great guy that is friendly and knowledgeable, that made it easy for us to drive the extra half hour to buy our beverages. On my last visit to the store I had the unfortunate opportunity to meet the beer manager, not knowing who he was when he asked if he could help, I told him I was looking to buy a case of red wine for the holidays and asked for a particular one. The wine I inquired about was probably between $10 to $12 a bottle we told him we were going to treat ourselves and our guests with this wine for the holidays, he then made a rude remark to me by saying YOUR GOING TO TREAT YOURSELF TO THAT? I said that this is the wine I buy that is in my price budget, and I then jokingly said maybe if I had a job like you have, I would be able to afford more expensive wines. He then replied to me in a snotty sarcastic way MAYBE YOU COULD SHINE MY SHOES. At that time I didn't buy the case of red wine and took the case of white wine out of the cart, and set it on the floor. I wonder if the owner knows the money that this clown is costing this store, this idiot needs to go back to school to learn people skills. If there were only as many beer stores as car title loan places in Savannah there'd be some real competition. But these guys seem to have the local market just about cornered when it comes to alcohol sales. Confining my review to just craft beer, this place is very underwhelming. Limited selection, especially of singles and I noticed more than one bottle being sold past it's "best by" date. You can deduce that some stuff sits here awhile on the shelf. No cigar city (available in limited amounts at Whitemarsh beverage which is much smaller). You just sorta get the feeling these guys know that they are the only game in town and aren't trying all that hard. read more

Habersham Beverage Warehouse is THE place to go in Savannah to stock your liquor cabinet, wine rack, or iced down cooler. The staff is as friendly as they are knowledgeable and the store is spotless and well-organized. There are explanations to the flavor and origin of most beverages written on little labels attached to the shelves so there's little mystery as to whether or not you're going to like that riesling you've never tried. And there is a hell of a lot of booze here to try. You can find just about anything here, including local favorites from other states. That's a wonderful thing when you're an out-of-state transplant as many Savannahians are. You can purchase a little bottle or six pack of home. Their location is very convenient, near White Bluff and Abercorn, and an easy pit stop to be made after shopping at Best Buy or Oglethorpe Mall. The prices are some of the lowest in the area for the products offered. read more

You can never go wrong with this place. It's huge and would be difficult to not find what you're looking for. Half the store is wine then the other half split between beer and liquor which is not small either. I only get the beer but they do mix and match 6 packs and have a ton of imports. It can be pretty pricey but I'm willing to spend a little extra for my favorites. If you want something better than an ABC Store then definitely check this place out. They have shopping carts for all your drinking needs. :) read more

Maybe I'm just overwhelmed because i came from an ABC state, but I was one of those "kid in a candy store" people. I have never seen such a great selection of Bourbon (my favorite liquor) before. Best of all, it was SO. CHEAP. Especially for Bourbon and Whiskey. I've found that it's extremely cheap to get a handle. In NC, a handle of Woodford would be $70, but there it was only $50. If you're coming from a controlled alcohol state, you should make a visit. You cannot be disappointed. I also grabbed a Dekuyper Orange liqueur for a ridiculously cheap $12. I bought so much here, it was ridiculous. I will return next time I come to Savannah. read more

Best place to buy alcohol. Their wine rating system is attuned very well to a large palate of tastes and makes very good recommendations. They have an entire wall of craft beer selections, and lots of local craft selections. Highly recommend the HBW location and staff! read more

This place has an amazing selection. If it wasn't for my run in with the manager, Vincent, I would have given Habersham Bev. 5 stars. The first guy we met was really nice and asked if we needed help. When he didn't know the answer to my question, which is totally understandable, he pointed me in the direction of Vince. I asked a simple yes or no question, to which Vince very rudely responded with, "Um, that's something you buy at a Mexican grocery store, not at a liquor store." Some large liquor stores actually sell Horchata because it is commonly mixed with rum. So it was uncalled for Vince to act like I was an absolute moron for asking. A simple yes or no would have sufficed. He had a very abrasive, unhelpful attitude and I can definitely say it is worth spending a few more dollars at any other liquor store rather than running into this guy. I don't appreciate being talked to like an idiot. As a manager or any associate of a store, it is your job to treat your customers with kindness and respect, especially when they are asking questions with the intent of making a purchase. I also observed him being incredibly rude to another customer who was asking about a beverage. He kept saying condescending remarks and appeared to be attempting to stop her from asking anymore questions. When he finally turned his back on her to address me, her jaw had dropped and she looked at me as if to ask "Is this guy for real?" Trust me, go to Largo Beverage or somewhere else if you want good customer service and politeness. If you do go to Hab. Bev., stay away from the bald guy with glasses. read more
