Hey, a$$hole! They do NOT last 3 days. They last 2 days and some change at best. So I tried to do what he said. I had my doc change my prescription, and I have gone into withdrawal every time I have had to change patches this month. They don't last 3 days. They just don't. But this pharmacist doesn't know that for two reasons: he isn't a doctor and he has never had to use opioids to control horrible, wretched, never-ending pain before. So he can take his opinion and shove it where the sun don't shine, as far as I'm concerned. I will NEVER go back to that Hy-Vee for ANY reason ever again.

We recently acquired a competing brand- coz cheaper and closer to our home. And we basically visited the two stores back to back for a comparison to see what we want to keep for now. Costco is not as well organized as i like it to be. But has more ethnic stuff that i like (asian inspired). I really like the products which have a greater ethnic variety and lower sugar overall. They have sugar free dried fruit which i really like. The organization is a little less organized. For paying you have to queue long lines some days - typical of costco. But you do get through the line really quick - i prefer the competing brands' self checkout as it was neater and less of a fuss. Meat here is not as cheap- direct comparison. But also depended on the deals we saw that day. Both shops have their pros and cons. For now.. we are letting our membership go. But will see how it goes when its time for renewal

I was a employee at this Russ's for a couple months. I transfer to this Russ's as an Assistant…read moreService Manager from 48th and O SuperSaver as the same position. When I talked to the director he told me I would receive the 45 hours a week as I was getting at SuperSaver, so I transfer knowing he would get me 45 hours a week. As week went by, I was only getting 37-40 hours. I talked to home office about this issue I had with him telling me before I took the transfer that he told me that he would get me 45 hours. He then talked to me after he got a call from home office about it and he told me I needed to talk to him, but i did get closer to being scheduled 45 hours. I talked to coworkers that have worked there for awhile under him saying that he doesn't follow up with his word. I was offered a full-time job by another employee, and told him that I was giving 2 weeks notice for him to find a new Assistant Service Manager. I mentioned that I wanted to stay with B&R part-time as a cashier but I wanted to transfer to a different Russ's that was closer to where I live. I did something that wasn't "right" being a associate for B&R which i didn't get told about when I switched from SuperSaver to Russ's. He ended up terminated my employment with B&R Stores so then I couldn't get transferred to another Russ's. This is the first time I ever did any thing wrong in the store, and I should've just been coached about it. I felt he was retaliated against me for talking to home office about my hours. As for the Service Manager that I was under, he was worthless as a Service Manager. He couldn't make No Decisions even simple ones of his own without going to the director. He didn't have no guts to tell Service Supervisor to do anything. He would just let them do there own thing. That was another thing was that this store had just as many if not more Supervisors than cashiers. Really this store should have only 2 Supervisors along with the managers of the front end not 6 Supervisors with 2 managers. As for a couple Supervisor that I assisted in managing, I would have customers complaints about them a few times when I was there. When I would mentioned that to the manager and the director every time I had a talk with this supervisor they seem to just blow it off. This store needs almost a complete overhaul on the front end The reason I say almost is that there are cashiers that work very hard and they do as they are told. And as for the director, he is not store managing material with him not keeping his word with employees and even how rude I seen him act with customers.

I purposely used a manned checkout stand, to be a little politically correct: protecting jobs, and all that. I had a couple of calendars I wanted to give as Christmas gifts set apart to keep them safe. First thing the checker did was allow the conveyor belt to mangle them. That might have been my fault. I get that. But the checker clearly was not worried about any damage and just wanted me out of there. There was a little bit of a gouge on the front of one of them, so I pulled over to the side after checking to make sure they were ok, and that I shouldn't return them immediately. I decided the damage wasn't with worrying about, as I needed to get home. As I started out the door, I was selected by some sort of security person to check my cart against my receipt. She was particularly concerned that I might have shoplifted a couple of bags of squirrel corn. Really? I'm going to go to jail for squirrel corn? F you people. You're lucky I compromised my political beliefs to walk into your damn store at all. I won't make that mistake again.

They get steady business however I don't often see many employees. It is not uncommon to wait in line at checkout a long long time here. This happens to me on multiple occasions. Also be sure to check dates on juice, yogurt, and cereal. I had to put most of mine back and dig for non-expired food. Some were over a month expired already. Produce here is probably my least favorite section of any store in the area. Less stocked items. Less fresh, less attractive . I took a few photos. Nothing looked very appetizing. Left with a much smaller purchase then expected. The selection here could be better. I return for the prices that are lower on cleaning supplies and toiletries that's about it.
