Well I'm an antique dealer passing through. Theres nothing "vintage" about this place! There was a lot of new- ish furniture on consignment. Anything nice had a bigger price tag. To be fair at least there's a savings for not having to pay full retail. read more

If I could give ZERO stars I would. Huge mistake leaving my furniture with them. I didn't read their "fine print" apparently that they only keep items for 90 days max!! Then they do whatever they want with your items. NO follow up...they expect you to monitor your items and call to check on them. If you don't call- then say goodbye to your stuff. I consigned a gorgeous Restoration Hardware tufted sofa - they decided to arbitrarily to sell it for some ridiculous low price (like $500) with no call - nothing. Then they DONATED a gorgeous RH bedroom set!! NO CALL - NOTHING. Horrible customer service! So bad. read more

After several months of showing an empty house for sale, we decided to use Vintage Market of Blufton, SC to stage it for us. It sold the next day. I cannot say enough about Holly, Carley and Byron, and the outstanding job they did for us. The results speak for themselves -- one day is incredible! So shocked. We have bought lots of things at consignment shops and most appreciate one putting in an offer. If the offer is too low, they simply say so. Instead, after waiting 15 minutes for the owner (I presume) to get off the phone with her bank, my husband politely asked if she would take $180.00 for a headboard marked $239.00, slightly more than 20% off. After her bout of hysterical laughter, she turns to the younger woman there and RANTS, "Who does he think he is? Does he know what kind of a place this is! Go to Goodwill!" Ok. read more

I consigned with this store and this is what happened: They did not give me a receipt for my items. When I went to check on the sale of my things, I was told they did not have a record of having them. The sales women were not interested in assisting customers ever time I went to their store. They were very rude and not at all helpful. I never was paid for numerous items I took to them. read more

Highly recommend Vintage Market! My company needed to urgently furnish multiple homes and we could not have done it without Holly and her team. They were able to coordinate furniture for multiple rooms and homes. What should have taken weeks only took about an hour. The pieces were in great condition and everything matched beautifully. They even helped recommend a moving service with a gentleman named Billy (he's awesome). Vintage Market has gone above and beyond and for that I am SO GRATEFUL. Friends and I were at a local thrift store one day when this owner was purchasing lots of furniture from the thrift store for her store. Later one of the friends went to her store and found the prices were really jacked up. She is filling her store with our local thrift store finds. WOW! She also said they did not even greet her, I guess if you are not adorned in diamonds you are not worthy of a greeting. I won't be going there and I will tell my friends what she is doing. read more

I visited Vintage Market today for the first time. I purchased a large mirror and a side table. Both were very reasonably priced ($49) but would be soooo much more if i shopped at a typical furniture store. There were so many items that I am considering buying, but didn't because I need to check measurements at home. The staff was very helpful and courteous. One woman actually provided me with some cardboard and a couple loose cushions to help me layer purchased items in my car. I will definitely be visiting this store again. read more

This is basically a glorified used furniture store. Unless you're looking for large pieces I wouldn't bother

Shopped there today, mostly quality stuff from what I saw, with a few things that need some TLC. Only one person working who was very busy juggling the customers and phone calls but she was friendly and professional. They offer delivery for $55 if you need it. I'll probably be back in a few days if the sofa I want is still there. read more

Beware if you are "consigning" here. Very bad experience, no follow up. Finally found them years later and there was no resolution. They said that they would send me a receipt for my taxes a couple weeks ago and that is all they could do. Detailed receipt. Nope. Blank. Really feels like we were taken advantage of. Consigned a dining room set from Ethan Allen, an antique regulator clock, antique sewing table and antique trunk. They are now saying that there are no records and nothing they can do. I love the Vintage Market! The ladies are always very friendly and helpful. There is always a large variety of items to select from with great prices. This is my go to place when looking for that perfect piece of furniture. I would highly recommend this store to anyone. Ignore the other reviews that say the ladies are grumpy or snooty. They have never been that way with me and I have been there MANY times. They are sometimes very busy and mostly leave you to browse on your own, but are always available to answer any questions you may have. read more
