We brought the stuff back to her place and over half of it needed to be thrown out. The chicken they give you has been frozen over and over. The bread is at least 3 weeks old. They gave my elderly client some milk and juice which they were all out dated by 5 weeks. I would hate to know how sick she would of gotten from drinking it. Better yet what if a child would of gotten ahold of it. You people are a bunch of hypocrites and only want people to donate money to your own pockets. The people that work there are very nasty looking as well. And it's not in the best of neighborhoods. I certainly hope my call gets you shut down

I guess the concept of helping the needy was truly their intent, but you would have to see for…read moreyourself to know what I'm talking about. The food is mostly outdated. I received milk that was spoiled to the point that when I poured it out, it was clumps, like cottage cheese. Yuck! Some of the bread was molded. I was afraid to eat the meat after seeing the spoiled milk & molded bread. The frozen pizza was molded & the workers actually ate it. OMG! The place is dirty & I could almost see the germs flying around waiting to attach themselves to everyone in the office. Someone had spilled something a long time ago & the smell was so bad, that someone finally tracked it down & decided to clean it up. I don't know what kind of connections the founder has to keep this place open, but beware of the food you receive. It may contain live rodents as one person found out. That was a scary situation. I had to figure out another way to make my monthly food supply last longer, because I'm not going back to Manna. I don't believe they are sanitary on top of serving food that is outdated. One good thing about my experience is that I've lost weight since I don't eat as much as I use to.

Anyhow, just wanted to give a shout out to Artlink and let Clarksville know that if they haven't been there - they are missing out. This week alone they have origami, more stained glass instruction, painting classes, and much more! Its a great place to hang out and convenient to restaurants and other things so come out and make a day of it! My new favorite place in Clarksville!

As part of a small business myself, I always love to give back. Today my small business brought in…read moresome teenage clients to make Valentine's Day cards for the elderly in retirement homes. From the second we sat down the secretary started giving us dirty looks. Our clients happen to be neurodivergent. As we did our Valentine's Day cards We observed her photographing us without our consent. The secretary denied she did this. We were making Valentine's Day cards the entire time and our clients were behaving very appropriately (not that it matters anyway). After the owner of my company thanked the secretary for such great art supplies the secretary proceeded to say that we were weird for meeting there. When my owner asked if this was not a free space on Friday's for crafts the secretary proceeded to say that our group made her specifically made her uncomfortable. There is no way we can ever return here with this secretary present. She clearly let us know we were not welcome there!

So, I told them I would list it correctly online. This thrift store is a gold mine with phenomenal prices. I would say this is the BEST thrift store in Clarksville with the most excellent customer service! Presently, they have a 50% off linen sale. Lots of beautiful hand crocheted blankets. Ladies clothes (excluding formal clothes) are $5 a bag full. Clothing is $1 a piece unless specially priced. I bought: - a giant box of brand new crayons for 75 cents - two cool graphic tees - expensive stationary 50 cents With the assistance of Progressive Directions, Inc., the Thrift Store supports individuals with special needs and their families. The PDI Thrift Store also partners with Supported Employment and the State of Tennessee to make opportunities for those with disabilities to have paid positions. Overall, the PDI Thrift Store provides more jobs, additional funding for the Clarksville community and offers low cost items to all. - Source: http://www.progressivedirections.com/thrift-store/

I go in looking for coats for the homeless and there were used coats there marked at 25$. I'll stick to Salvation Army for those purchases. I'll be back though bc now I know.
