Wow, I've read some really petty situations getting some people upset on Yelp, that's a shame and…read morereally the complaints are from someone who's upset... Hey, they can help you in so many ways - focus on the positive! What OUR Center does for those in need of several basic necessities. Sometimes things that are more complicated take a bit longer to sort out. OUR Center is really a a doing a very difficult job in offering resources to those who need help. Many of the people who make OUR Center function are the volunteers who selflessly donate their time, strength and knowledge as well as so many people in the community at large and local grocery stores that donate food and hygiene items that the clients in OUR Center go home with. The OUR Center staff are then able to help with other, more complex challenges - AS HUMANLY POSSIBLE! And sometimes OUR Center goes through shortages of some items, just know that they also know about it and are doing their best to get that item ... especially during the pandemic! OUR Center require that you become registered as a client. You cannot just walk in and walk out without some paperwork and counseling. OUR Center is NOT a religious organization, but respects all religions and all people (who behave like normal humans - I mean, come on!). Breakfast and lunch is served most day - call to confirm. Groceries are allotted with a point system based on you family number. For the grocery, you must call to get an appointment and be an OUR Center client. You will be able to pick out what you want based on availability of donations, the volunteers hard work, the Center's ability to store items for their clients (they have an expensive building with a kitchen, dining area, warehouse, and client shopping area, and a clothing closet, and offices). The community closet has re-opened after COVID restrictions and thanks to the people at large who donated (and continue to donate) clothing, clients are now able to apply for clothing point/dollars. The clothing is in great shape, often brand new, and displayed in a nice, organized, clean atmosphere. They also have some kitchen items for those "just starting-out. The cost maximum is $2/2 points per item (insanely low!). They select only the best donations to pass on to their clients and at this time, clients who see the representative, can shop every 3 months. There is so much more to OUR Center! Be positive, let them help you, and be realistic about the time table, this isn't a magic show!

Terrible the way the employees all making over limits to qualify use the food bank everyday. Shut…read moredown to public from 11:30-1:00pm for employees to ransack. Driving new cars and ordering food delivery to front desk shows them flaunting their money as well. I think the employees are illegal doca scamming USA. The our center seems to be for illegals and run by illegals. Service and quality is 3rd world. They pass out cards with directions if stopped by ICE. They should be happy ICE had found over 60k of the 300k illegal children biden gave to sex trafficking and child labor. The our center is a life long crutch for illegals aliens.

THANK YOU so much for taking the little, what we think was a baby deer mouse, when NO ONE else…read morewould!!! I sucked it up and drove the 2+ hours up to drop him off, I named him Junior, I just didn't want him to die and get a chance at a little life for himself (or herself, IDK) no matter how long or short it might be. They were so kind, helpful, and responsive and even tried to help me find a more local Denver rehab so I didn't have to commute so far, which I really appreciate that empathy. Nothing else worked out, they didn't care about a mouse, so I am very appreciative Greenwood was able to appease this whacky person who wanted to save a mouse. They are supposed to send me an update about Junior after a few weeks, I am still waiting, and if he does make it and get released, he will have a much greater outdoor experience out there in Longmont than he ever would in the city of Denver. I hope to get good news about him someday, but even if not, I still won't regret trying to save the little mouse that I fell a little bit in love with.

We finally hit the internet and located this place. The staff responded immediately to our phone call and, later, our text messages. Upon arrival, we were met by a beautiful young woman named Shannon. She was helpful and friendly. They immediately took the squirrel and started assessing him. They really seemed to care and I was happy to have found people that could help. I really hope my little buddy survives and thrives. They didn't charge me anything but I did voluntarily donate 80 dollars to help defray the costs.

Oh the JOY of another ARC, and one closer to me! This one opened April of 2019, and I love it!…read more This coming from the consummate thrift store shopper. Great deals on amazing items to be had. I go on Sat., 50% off most tags day. I always find something, might not be on my list, but always something. I especially like the layout, its is easy, large signs designate the areas and clothes are by size AND color, so easy! We often find brand new, tags still on clothing or items like the hydration pac my husband found today. We have found brand new, never worn pants and jeans for him as well. This place is the best for fake florals, especially if using outdoors. My score today included the exact pillow that matches one I already have for my bed, SWEET!, and a cute little RAE DUNN vase for a dollar! This has been my go to thrift store for many years, and so thrilled to discover the ones here in CO.

Your prices are ridiculously high make no sense at all. You have shelves and shelves of flower…read morevases, most of which are crap that came with delivered flowers. They're worth virtually nothing, yet you're charging $3.79 and similar. Put the crap on the lower shelves and charge $0.25, $0.50, $0.99. Have the things that are actually nice on the upper shelves. But don't charge 379 for a used vase unless it's actually of some value. Your employees don't wear name tags. The 20 something rude man needs to be fired. You know who I mean. Far too many of your items are broken. I constantly find empty boxes or containers because the items have been removed and stolen. People rip open bags of multiple items and take out what they want, obviously not paying for them since they don't have price tag on them, leaving a partially full bag hanging there. You have a severe stealing problem. I could go on and on about this ARC Longmont. There is zero security in this place and it needs it, desperately. I'm done donating and shopping here.
