Yesterday, 20 DEC 2025, they provided food and gifts for at least 200 families from the area that have been hit hardest by our current politics and policies. In an assembly one of scooping, weighing, packaging, sealing and labeling, we packed rice for over 17,000 meals. A great place to volunteer!

If the items are soiled or extremely in bad shape then it's not the place to give them. They accept things like clothes, shoes, furniture, houseware things, accessories and electronics. I had a few bags of things which easily fit into my car and I was able to do drop off. They offer to assist you in bringing them inside. They also ask if you need a receipt for your records/taxes. They also have bins in the back of the store if you want to just drop off the bags. For people who can't drop off or have large items of donation such as furniture, you can give them a call and schedule a time for pick up. They pick up the phone in business hours and are good about assisting. Awesome way of giving things to a good organization.~

I think they expected me to become irate. I'm not sure why maybe because I was confused as to why they could not help me. But it didn't take long for it to sink in as to why they could not help me. I want caridad and everyone who reads this to know that I am grateful for ALL places like caridad even though they can't do anything for me. Delray, Boynton Beach and surrounding areas are blessed to have places like caridad. The day was not a bust because they gave me the information I was actually looking for and I went right next door to their soup kitchen and had a wonderful meal and got a bag full of goodies.
