This Restore has four rooms filled with furniture, rugs, lighting fixtures, housewares, dishes, jewelry, frames, artwork, tools, appliances, and electronics, among so much more. What you'll find all depends on what was donated. So, it's fun to check back often. We have purchased rugs, spray paint, paint supplies, artwork, glassware, crystal, pans, baskets, a figurine, and chairs. You can donate items also, which is very helpful when you're moving or helping someone clean out a house. read more

This place is huge! The biggest I've ever seen. We were amazed and ended up buying a cart full of stuff. They sell a variety of things, many brand new and still in sealed boxes. A lot of furniture, toys, hardware, dishes, glassware, clothing, bicycles, sewing machines, and so much more. Highly recommend you check this place out! read more

I have been in this store several times and most things are way over priced and not always in very good shape. Decided to take a perfectly good couch to them to donate and somehow the guy found a non existent stain and told us they don't take stained furniture. Most of the furniture I have seen in that place looked far worse than this couch that had no stain. If they just didn't have at space for it, they should have said that instead of making up a stain that no one else could see. Not going to waste time donating good stuff to them anymore. read more

Use caution if you decide to donate here. We have donated several items. Recently we donated a hutch. The movers scratched our brand new wood floors and then blamed us for it. Ended up leaving half of it and stormed out. Management at Habitat was notified. Failed to arrange to repair the floor or return for the rest of the hutch then cut off all communication. Never again. Find a more responsible charity for donation. read more

the cause is just but there are fundamental issues with this location. in particular, the audio/visual gear they sell and label as functional rarely are. i returned an item this last time and the employee even acknowledged that the had an unusual amount of returns for audio/visual gear. to be fair, good deals can be had, but hold on to that receipt and test what you purchase immediately. it's clear whoever is in charge of testing and pricing the electronics has no clue what they are doing. read more

We search out Habitat ReStores in every town we visit. This store in Williamsburg was huge. This is a nonprofit home improvement store that accepts donations from the public. They sell new and gently-used furniture, appliances, home accessories, building materials and more. The prices were very reasonable. You never know what you are going to find! read more

Crazy cheap prices and lots of stuff to look through, from loads of furniture to some bathroom stuff like vanities, sinks or toilets, and lots of random hardware and some new in the box toys. The strong suits are furniture and definitely dishes and glassware. They also have some lawn equipment like lawnmowers and mostly weed eaters. I keep hoping to find a chainsaw, but none yet! I was surprised other Yelpers hadn't yet reviewed the ReStore but here goes... If you're not aware how the place works, just know you need to visit more than "very seldom" for it to be a valuable resource for tools, building products (both new and used), used furniture and a variety of other items. The inventory seemingly changes daily and while some items (basic painting supplies for example) appear to be available consistently, other items come and go rather quickly. It's rare that I find the prices to be anything but very reasonable. And, when that does occur I step back to remember that I'm helping to support an organization that helps others in the community. Hopefully other Yelpers will join me...I'm there at some point almost every Saturday! read more

We've visited many Restores, in the DC Metro area, in Maryland, in Pennsylvania - and other places when traveling. This one is, indeed, impressively large and impressively organized. Prices are surprisingly low, for most items: books are 10 cents each! They have a special section for real antiques and a lot of beautiful china, much in large sets. Good tool selection, many new. Lots of furniture, good looking small and large appliances. A definite must-see if you're looking for deals or into serendipitous finds! read more
