I…read morewant to start this review by saying when I walked in to this business the sun was still up. I walked out and it was night time. I was in this antique mall for HOURS and didn't even realize it. The mall is well organized and all of the employees were friendly. We found something within in five minutes of entering the mall. Hours later we were still adding to our purchase pile. The antique mall is organized in rows. I was impressed with their customer service system. Each row has a call button. You hit the button when you need assistance (ex: a cabinet opened or a question) and someone will come directly to you. My wait was short each time that I hit the call button. Again, I was impressed because this place is huge. The amount of antique items was overwhelming interesting. I saw toys from my childhood, a large collection of Hallmark ornaments, paintings, books and a lamp that I immediately fell in love with (see pic). I HIGHLY recommend setting aside a few hours to visit this antique mall whenever you are in Williamsburg. You will not be disappointed.

They sell donated furniture and home goods, as well as jewelry, books, and games. Profits benefit a local Christian school. Because their inventory turns over so quickly and they get new items constantly, they can't hold items longer than COB that day. Each week they have sales on different items so it's helpful to check their Facebook page. The staff are friendly and helpful. Prices are very good. Parking is free Ave right out front.

Today's review really is about The Gathering Place cafe, which is why we went to The Mole Hole. It's absolutely lovely. They have about 4 to 5 tables that could accommodate 4 people. Plus they had a cute table for two. The tables are elegantly decorated with linen floral napkins on pretty placemats. See photos. The food is light fare, but with ample portions. We started with iced teas (they also offer beers, wine, and champagne). For entrees, we ordered the spinach salad with salmon and pecans as well as the ham and spinach quiche with the southern pea salad. The pea salad contained peas, corn, pimento, and shredded cheddar cheese -- quite unique and very good. My husband can't stop raving about it. We really enjoyed our meals. All food is made in house. See photos. Service is prompt and friendly. You pay at the final checkout up front so you can pay for food and any shop purchases together. Bring cash for your tip, as their receipts don't include a line for a gratuity since they are primarily a shop. The restaurant is open Monday through Saturday for lunch until 3 p.m.
