Sutter green is the best apartment complex in Natomas. The community was always super clean great amenities very pet friendly if you are a dog lover like myself. The staff was always A1 with their communication and overall friendliness they hosted really great resident events. Krista, Jessy & Sarah (all the other were also I just remembered their names lol) were great and were always super helpful anytime I had a question or concern also they had onsite security at night which I appreciated greatly. If you are looking for an urban very clean and nice place to live this is a great place to look into. -Glenn Thomas

LOOK ELSE WHERE!!! I…read moream relocating from out of state and reached out to Sutter Green to coordinate a remote lease. Because I can't visit in person, I sent a highly organized list of standard questions regarding virtual tours, the exact units available, noise insulation, included amenities, and utility fees. The response from the leasing office was incredibly lazy and evasive: 1. Zero reading comprehension: My very first sentence stated I was looking for an August move-in. The agent, Dominique, replied by asking, "Most important question, when are you looking to move?" 2. Dodging terms: I asked if their virtual tours showed the exact vacant units and if I could qualify for their move-in special remotely. They ignored both questions. 3. Ignoring noise concerns: I explicitly stated quiet surroundings are crucial and asked about top-floor availability and floor-to-floor noise insulation. They completely ignored this. 4. Hiding fee details: They mentioned a "$105-$115 flat fee" for utilities but wouldn't explain what it actually covers. They also refused to put in writing which community amenities are actually guaranteed in the base rent. When I politely followed up to get actual answers to these crucial questions before scheduling a tour, they completely ghosted me. To be honest, I don't usually judge a place solely on the leasing office because, once you move in your actual day-to-day experience is defined by the community itself and how reliable the maintenance team is. However, when an office team is this dismissive and completely ignores major questions, it is a massive red flag for how the entire property is managed. When a complex refuses to put amenity breakdowns, noise policies, and utility fees in writing, it's because they want to avoid a paper trail. If it isn't documented, you have zero leverage to challenge your rent if those amenities are broken, locked, or unusable, and you can expect that same lack of accountability when it comes to getting maintenance issues fixed. If they act this shady and incompetent before they even have your money, do not trust them with a lease.

Long story, short - Alright apartments, questionable management, excessive fees…read more Long story, long - I moved here in December and transferred from a one-bedroom to a two-bedroom in April. When I moved out of the one-bedroom, staff gave the apartment a 98% score during the move-out inspection. Despite that, management also charged me approximately $760 in move-out cleaning fees. The attached screenshots show the condition in which I left the apartment. I'd upload my full videos if Google would let me. In my relatively short time here, management has attempted to charge me more than $2,000 in excessive fees or billing errors, including deposits that did not apply, incorrectly calculated prorated rent and the charges above. I hope this is just negligence, otherwise this could be a concerning pattern of exploitive billing practices. Other things prospective residents should know: * There are only about 15 guest parking spaces, and each apartment receives only one assigned space. If two people live in a two-bedroom apartment, the second resident will frequently have nowhere to park and will have to park in the surrounding residential neighborhood. (5-10 min walk) * An unhoused individual entered the property and slept overnight in the community jacuzzi recently. EMS responded because he was knocked OUT in the jacuzzi, but to my knowledge, management did not notify residents or perform additional cleaning (as recommended by EMS) before residents and children used the jacuzzi the following day. I have included a photo below. * Cobwebs and dust accumulate throughout the property, especially during hotter months. Dog park, garbage cans, trash rooms can take weeks sometimes to get cleaned. The apartments themselves are nice, but in my opinion, they are not worth the billing issues, limited parking and management concerns. I have already advised multiple people against living here and will continue to do so. If you choose to move in, document everything thoroughly, get all comms from management in writing and examine every bill carefully. My one star goes to Daisy, who is an absolute gem and has been helpful with every issue I've brought to her.

No joke, she was speaking to two of us potential renters at once (because we literally showed up at the exact same time, no prior appointment made by either of us): gracious, informative, professional, helpful. She was so down to earth and lovely and knew her stuff. I had to leave a review just on the application process alone because Christina has made it easy and quite fun.

Christina is a TRUE GEM of a human being. So responsive, dedicated and has the best energy. Property managers like her do not come around often and she's one for the books. She really cares about this beautiful building and it shows! Clarendon House is such an amazing property, one of a kind, the amenities are far greater than we could have ever expected from such historic building. The courtyard is peaceful, laundry room impeccably kept, gym is clean and bright, elevator is on top notch shape, the WHOLE place is maintained to the 9s and she just keeps overachieving to make it better lol The one bedroom apartments itself have insane storage, feels like triple deep in the bathroom linen closet, plus storage under the sink, a full closet in the hallway and a walk in closet in the bedroom, kitchen has more storage than we'd need too.The place doesn't feel cheap but it's so affordable. It feels like Christina has thought if everything, from a rolling laundry hamper to getting deals for residents at the attached yoga studio, engaging activities that keep the vibe friendly between residents but also so mindful of privacy. Coffee, treats for dogs and humans in her office, I could go on and on. I can't believe how lucky we got. It's hard to find an apartment with rates what they are to feel like you're getting a deal, this place feels like a steal. If you get lucky enough to get a place here don't think twice!
