I even found myself a super comfy new pair of wide leg/boot cut jeans to go with my new boots! Prices are relatively reasonable considering the location. I worked in retail for 8 years... 2 young high school or college students were working here today. I was greeted by a quite hello and then just stared at. I gathered about 5 things to try on...after about 15 mins of holding my items one of the girls asked if I wanted a fitting room. While I was trying things on I really needed another size in a jacket and definitely would have purchased it however, no one came by to ask me about sizes, how I was doing etc. I went back to the rack with the jacket to see if they did in fact have the jacket in another size but had no luck. I think the customer service in this store, especially with the location needs a bit of work.

What didn't help was that I came here in November so there were Christmas things for sale already and I love good Christmas decorations. The store is also fairly large so you can roam and take a look at a lot of different things. There are also quite a few entrances/exits, which seemed odd for shoplifting reasons but I appreciated being able to walk out onto a different side of the street. I will say that stuff was super pricey in here, but if it is mostly hand made by artists, I understand. I also live in an overpriced tourist city, so I understand the mark up. I will say that I thought the staff was a bit aloof. Like they didn't care to answer any questions or make any conversation, or even say hello. That was fine. I like being left alone when I shop anyway. Aloof is fine but rudeness isn't. When we left one of the employees was super rude and slammed the door on us (someone else had left it open and she thought it was us so she said something and slammed the door) so that left a bad taste in my mouth but I will say this store is still pretty cute and I'd come back.

Reading the others, I'm surprised they encountered bad service. I've never felt judged or was treated with anything but standard respect. The staff isn't the fawn-over-you type but they're polite, helpful when I ask, and are self aware enough to know when to approach someone versus greet and leave alone. Proud to Shop Local!

We had been buying Pendleton products at the Old Faithful gift shops, such as the bison coaster…read morerugs, and thought the products were of high quality and cute. We wanted to buy a set of Indian art inspired coffee mugs and T-shirts, so we were really excited to find this big Pendleton store in town. But this store was not welcoming. There were only one staff at this large but narrow store. This staff was an old white woman, wearing a whitish cowboy hat on this day. We crossed her twice, closely, when we entered and exited the store. The store has very narrow walkways, she looked at us with unfriendly face as to say; what the hell are you doing here. No greetings or a smile, just mean stares! The second time when we cross her again on the way out, she looked at us with side eyes again, seems annoyed. This was unfortunate and abnormal, as we have been to many other stores in town. Everyone was friendly, greeted us and tried to help. Do not go here unless you want to be treated with a bad attitude. Management, if you care, we were at this store on Aug 30, 2024, around 10:30am.

Sweaters are just less than $500. 100% cashmere sweaters. Some beautiful colors, but a bit pricey, then again they are fashion sweaters with the embroidered text on there. The sweaters without the text would be more worth the money and much more classy and less trendy. It's still a fun store to browse. Makeup and jewelry in the center.
