I said I would like too give him my business, because of what he is doing in the community. I called and spoke with 2 young ladies. One of them told me I could get my teeth deep cleaned there for $100.00 dollars. The conversation was recorded on their end. When they told me how much they were going too charge me I was like well where is the Black Dentist. They said today he does not work in there office but he would do the special at their location Silk Dental. /4/20/26. One of the ladies got made and told me too leave after I notice she came back mean looking. She went too go and get her husband. He popped they the door while my back was facing it and jumped in my face and said she said too F N too leave. I did not know her husband was security there, smh. Well he did not have on the uniform. I felt hurt about the whole situation so, I called the police myself. The officer that was called for them told me to get off the phone. Horrible experience. They criminally trespassed me, but I was leaving.

The entire process from the very beginning has been stressful and frustrating -- exactly the opposite of what it should be when you're paying thousands of dollars for a treatment. Although Dr. Chang is an excellent dentist (and the main reason I chose this office), the front desk staff has been consistently unprofessional and unhelpful. After reading other reviews, I now see I'm not the only one who has experienced the same poor treatment, especially regarding appointment scheduling. Each month I call to schedule my next appointment to pick up new trays, and every month there's an issue. For example, in May the office was only open for one week the entire month. I explained that I was in my final semester of school and couldn't make that week work due to finals. I was told, essentially, that I was "out of luck" and needed to make it work. I booked an appointment for the 20th, but when my final exam ran late, I called to see if I could move the appointment just 15 minutes later (especially since I live over 35 minutes away and the appointment is literally an in-and-out pickup -- I walk in, grab my trays, and leave)... I was told they could not accommodate a 15-minute shift and that because I had supposedly "rescheduled two other times," I would be charged a $95 no-show fee if I didn't show up. This claim was completely untrue. They then gave me the option to pick up my trays at another location closer to Uptown Dallas. Kailey told me to send over $250 payment towards my account and then I could be scheduled over there without $95 cancellation being added (I have attached the text threads). Flash forward to August 8, I requested documentation of my payment plan and the payments I have made and saw that there was a $95 cancelled appointment charge of 5/20/25. I called the front office and talked to Kailey and explained "hey this has already been discussed what is this charge". She told me the charge will stay there for me cancelling the appointment 5/20 although text messages from the office state "I will not be charging you $95." The main issue seems to be Kailey at the front desk, who also handles payments. She has been antagonistic, unwilling to listen, and even hung up on me during a call when I tried to explain the unfairness of the situation. Hanging up on a patient simply because you don't want to deal with their concerns is not acceptable. As of today (August 11), my trays have now been lost entirely. When I arrived for my most recent appointment, I was told they would have to reorder my entire set because mine could not be located. No timeline for when I'll receive them has been provided. This experience has been exhausting, disappointing, and completely avoidable had there been competent, respectful, and organized front desk management. Dr. Chang may be great, but the way this office is run makes continuing here impossible for me. If you take anything from this review: save yourself the stress, time, and money -- go somewhere else for your Invisalign treatment.
