She is nice enough to listen to you in the beginning of your appointment so you're both on the same page about wants, needs/ expectations of how your brows can be realistically transformed. I scheduled the appointment in August. I am a busy executive, and had a meeting come up for my appointment day/time that I couldn't miss. I sent a message asking if I would be able to move my appointment rather than cancel because I didn't want to lose my deposit and I only needed to reschedule. I sent the message at least a week prior to my appointment but received no answer. I then sent another message via her contact us button but once again never received a response. I then sent a message via text. She answered and asked for screenshots which I sent. I never heard back. I've now followed up two more times with zero reply. To be treated this way is unacceptable. I have been a supporter of her business, even referring four clients to her. I love supporting women-owned businesses and believe in referring business; however, I will not be treated poorly by anyone. I'm quite sure her business will go on just fine without me or the 4 people I referred, but she'll never get another nickel of my money. Too many people out here doing this same work for me to put up with this BS. I also put the deposit on my AMEX, so they will make sure I get my money back thank goodness. Never again.

Nail tips were just glued on my nails mind you. He calls the ladies over and they try to ask me if I could let another person try. I said no thank you can I just get the nails removed. The guy doing my nails gets upset and has an attitude. And starts to RIP the nails off my fingers and then CUTS my natural nails down so short and painful. I just sat there, ready to just leave. Once the nails are all in his palm of his hand he tosses them on the counter and shoos me away like I'm an animal and said go somewhere else. I turn and said hey I was never disrespectful to you so don't disrespect me. He continues to tell his employees in an attitude so I turn again and asked if he just doesn't disrespect me. The manager there was very professional and invited me to come to her store, which I did and she personally helped me resolve my issue. IF I try Ulta again, it will be there, not Cedar Hill. I would advise customers to avoid the Cedar Hill location at all costs.

The manager Amanda or (Samantha?) was rude, flippant, smug and condescending. She came over and first of all called me 'hun' which was unprofessional but I overlooked it. I'm guessing that she didn't know the other woman already told us the appt was double booked because she said, "well because 'lovely' (referring to my daughter - whose name is not 'lovely' which now I took as condescending bc of the 'hun' comment but again, in my effort to just get it handled I overlooked it) "well because 'lovely' has so much hair we really don't have enough time to do that service." And she said some other things to the effect of 'we didn't allot that time for someone with such thick hair'. My wife at that point told her no, it's not because she has so much hair, it's because you double booked which this young lady already told us. She looked at the woman who shared that info for a moment clearly thrown but doubled down. She went back and forth with my wife for a second and then looked at me and said I'd like to just speak with you. To which I replied "uh no we are the same. That's my wife. If you speaking to her you're speaking to me and vice versa." She then said they could move the appointment to 4:30 which was too late for us and she said she was trying to 'compromise' with us. What?! Compromise with us?! She said it wasn't their fault that the system double booked us and basically blamed my daughter's thick hair for the appointment having to be moved. Like she doing us a favour! My wife at that point told her about herself very clearly - no cussing or yelling or name calling but definitely clarity. And she replied, "You should be happy I'm trying to help you. I could say we can't take her at all!" That was when I decided I should go ahead and do my baby's hair myself and we should go before we lose our spot in the Heavens. I'd never been to ulta for a service. I booked this appt last minute bc my daughter has a dance to go to tonight and I'm having allergies that are affecting my eye sight. Figured it would be better to try and get someone to do it. In my haste I didn't look at these reviews. I wish I had.
