Beware of this place. First's things first. The 360 booth, it's definitely not worth it. It's sucks that we're not able to provide our own services due to their contract. The 360 booths qualify was so horrible, it came out so blurry & there's no gallery. Secondly the Dj, he was no where to be found at one point. We had to book with him due to THE CONTRACT...again I wish I could've provided my own Photo Booth & Dj. When looking for him, we found him coming from the other hall. I guess he was booked both days... read more

Beware! Let me start off by saying that you are going to be asked to leave a GOOD review before the day of your party because believe me, you will not want to leave a good review once your party is over. Trust me!!!! If you see a "good review" notice most of them were written BEFORE the party even happened. 1. You will not be getting your deposit back. They will have an excuse of what you "broke" or "needed". 2. The 360 Photo booth is NOT a real "360 Photo booth" and you will not get a text or link sent to you. All of the "pictures" they take of you and your guests are in one Google File that you will get weeks later or maybe not at all. 3. It will be extremely hot because the A/C mysteriously/accidentally got turned off. 4. You will not have phone service/internet unless you pay $500. So if you have an emergency, guess what, your phone is not going to work. 5. Security is rude and focused on smoke breaks. Police officers are No help. Cars get broken into. They make you get off the property even if your car doesn't work and you are alone and a female. 6. Bartenders are SLOW and obviously not real bartenders. 7. The Shot Cart is pushed around by the owners son and not a real bartender so don't believe when they say that you have to pay extra to have a licenced bartender. 8. Make sure you don't need Ice or anything extra because they will charge your $100's+ or like i said, keep your deposit. 9. Dinner is not served on time. 10. Drinks are not offered with your dinner eventhough it is included. They are 2 faced scammers. Everything is perfect before, you get treated like royalty but once its over they are NOT going to answer your calls or texts. read more

If I can save anyone the headache do NOT book your event at HACIENDA BELLA TERRA. These are some issues I seen others had and some I'm currently going through. - They don't allow outside decorations. - If you hire an outside coordinator they want to give you hell about it. To hire one from them it's $2,500 - Right before your event they'll tell you the photo booth is broken and want to only reimburse you $60. - Day of signing contract they say they'll allow beer bottles and liquor bottles in. Weeks before your event they say only aluminum beer cans. All liquor bottles will need to stay behind the bar. - Contract says "Bartender" not Bartenders nor 2- Bartenders. It's MANDATORY that you need to pay for one of their licensed bartenders and that's another $250. I assumed they would provide the amount of bartenders needed. But apparently not because they only provide ONE. - DJ is only to play music not be involved in any talking or doing the presentation. If you need the DJ to talk that's an extra charge. - The "owner" is never available to bring your concerns to them. When you do they'll threaten you with canceling your event and no refund. - The table linen is black or white to add your colors it's an extra charge. When the contract has something different. - The contract says "Projector & Screen", but to actually have a sideshow and video it's an extra charge. Basically to use it you have to pay. - You have to pay to use their WiFi because the building doesn't have any signal no matter what provider you are with. - You have to bring your own ingredients for the margarita machine which they'll tell what to bring. -You have to bring your own lime, salt, tajin, cups and nakins. The list goes on and on and on.... read more

This venue was beautifully set up for a private event. The food, décor, cake, and ambiance were great. But what it wasn't worth was an attempt at a stolen vehicle. The damage to my car steering system and electronics because of an attempted theft and negligence on the security of the facility is extensive. The facility has a gate but of course is open during business hours, understandable. My car was parked in the second row from the front of the building, visible from the glass front door, and under a streetlight. My car was locked and was unable to be stolen but was extensively damaged in the process. The security guard was extremely negligent, during the event itself and how my issue was handled. He did not seem concerned about anything until I brought this incident to both him and the off-duty sheriff's attention. He was very nonchalant until I showed him the damage. He kept accusing me of leaving the car door unlocked and was very worried. I called the police and while waiting for them to arrive, instructed me on how to "word" the incident, which of course was for his own protection and protection of the facility. He kept telling me to call 911 and ask them to come as soon as possible. It was obvious this was a non-emergency event as the event was already over, and no one was harmed. He made me call 911 three times, and upon the third time asked for me to put them on speaker phone because he was a security guard and could pull strings. Well, the outcome was the same and there was no time frame given. He said he needed to step away to make his "rounds," and proceeded to go sit on a bench by the front door and smoke a cigarette. I was not at the front when the police arrived but when I came upon them, he was already speaking to the officer about how he found it "funny," they were able to get in my car with the door being locked. I asked the officer if I could speak to him, and him alone. I asked the security guard to leave us, as you did not see the crime so what can you do now? The police got my statement and left. The security officer seemed upset that he was unable to give his details to add but all he needed was a picture of the incident report. I then proceeded to make my claim with insurance and work on getting a tow. At 2:00am, the security guard came to me and let me know that my car could not stay on property, I could not stay on property, and the gate needed to be closed at 2:30am. That information should have been told to me at 11:45pm when the incident was first discovered. I needed to wait for the police first, before getting a tow. I asked him what I was supposed to do, push the car across the street myself, as our event was over and guests gone, and he said he did not know, he could not help me. It was all so ridiculous. I remained very calm considering. I understand that the facility is not responsible for criminals but because they "provide" security, normal and customary measures to protect their clients should have been adequate and a priority and my loss was due to their negligence. read more

It's a beautiful historic building located in the Heights, and it's a quirky space, with the old truck bays downstairs and a more conventional event space upstairs. The Good: Lovely historic building. Decent parking. Central location. The Bad: Difficult Management. Management is available only on Saturdays from 9-10am. No other times - if you need to measure, plan, or tour the venue, that's when you've got to be there. No rehearsal times are possible, unless you rent the venue again. Management seemed put off after our second visit - we wouldn't have had to come back if their hours were not so brief! Questionable Business Practices. We meticulously cleaned the venue after our event, yet $60 was withheld from our deposit, without explanation. After calling them, the excuse we were given was that there was "water on the floor, probably from someone dragging a garbage can." That costs $60 to fix? All in all, it's a pretty place and inexpensive, but the fact that the lady running the operation is so difficult to work with makes it impossible to recommend the venue.

I rarely leave reviews, but my experience at Hacienda Bella Terra Ballroom was so unprofessional that I feel obligated to warn others. From start to finish, the owners and staff were rude, unorganized, and completely unreliable. They made several promises before the event, yet none of them were delivered. The owners were barely present, and when they were, they offered no help at all. Communication was terrible, and any time we asked for assistance, we were met with attitude instead of solutions. To make things worse, they stopped letting people in even though they had previously said that once guests filtered out, they would allow more to enter. That never happened. People were left waiting outside for no reason, and the staff refused to honor their own word. What made the situation even more unacceptable was that they suddenly started charging $20 per person at the door, yet still refused to let people in. It felt completely unprofessional and unfair. Several guests mentioned seeing staff taking money but still denying entry, which is beyond disappointing. The police on-site were also rude and unhelpful, adding to the chaos instead of resolving it. Overall, this ballroom was a complete disaster. Do NOT book Hacienda Bella Terra Ballroom. Save yourself the stress and go literally anywhere else. This place is not worth your time, money, or trust. read more

Great venues , not only are there 2 huge ballrooms. There is a smaller venue that is perfect if you're not looking for something massive. Don't worry about parking, there is plenty of space to park. Staff is great, attention to detail Is top quality. Got a chance to attend a few open houses. Was very impressed. Check this place out. Even if you have no plans for a party. DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM!!! Such a huge headache with these people!!!!! The staff is horrible they have nasty attitude!!!! not only that but everything is a Mess during the event the main manager of the hall was recording and taking pictures of things and that doesn't look right in any even!!!
