This place is close to the Legoland Theme Park, and so it's been a good food option when we are heading back home to NYC. We generally order our food to go since my family doesn't mind eating while we are driving in the car. The kids really enjoy eating the cheese quesidilla. My wife and I really like the beef enchilada. It's both tasty and filling. There is a slight price difference if you are paying in cash versus credit but nothing significant. Would totally recommend this location if you are in the area and do not want to Legoland food. read more

I love the ambience of Hacienda. You feel like you're walking into a restaurant in Mexico. They have beautiful chairs and decorations! Service is amazing and they're always helpful with everything. They make everything the way you want. The food is another great experience I love the shrimp cocktail! They make it two different ways authentic and regular. They have a tower of margaritas that is so tasteful and delicious. We love to share this because if not I probably wouldn't leave lol. I love how they have combinations so you can have one of each! The service was fantastic. Our server and others were kind and attentive. I can't stress enough how fantastic the staff was. The restaurant itself was lovely. The bathroom was, unfortunately, filthy. Our food was poor at best. The salsa and chips were sadly the highlight. The steak was cooked beyond belief when ordered medium. I think he maybe ate three bites. The camerones a la diabla were flavorless- I didn't know that was actually possible. Zero spice whatsoever and minimal basic seasoning. The salsa that came with the chips wasn't spicy, but was 10x spicier than this dish. The shrimp was tail on and uncleaned. Tail on, I understand. Not cleaned is pretty gross, and a basic fail. The coconut shrimp appetizer was burnt and inedible. I did taste the sauce it came with and it was pretty much a colorful mayonnaise, again no seasoning and no spice. Our servers were incredibly sweet and I didn't want to complain, it was like they already knew. I'd never suggest anyone eat here, even if they're looking for americanized Faire. I'm still completely thrown off by the diabla literally being flavorless- bland, no spice whatsoever. The food was seasoned really heavily with garlic powder and that's about it. Like so much garlic powder (not fresh garlic) that I'll be tasting it for days. Yes, I'm Mexican and have high hopes, but this food was absolutely terrible in all aspects. It's such a shame. This was the highlight of our trip to LEGOLAND! after spending two days with overpriced park crap and poor service this was a breath of fresh air. We were able to sit outside. They advised it would be a long wait yet we ended up being sat very quickly. Although we didn't order it they make guacamole table side. The food is always fantastic and you get the most for your money. There hasn't been one menu item that has not been delicious. My family and I enjoy eating there often. The staff, ambiance and quality are the reason why we continue to go back. My wife and I had our wedding at the Palacio that is a part of the Hacienda and it was magical. I cannot stop talking about how much I love the food here. Do come here expecting to spend a good deal of money as nothing on this menu was cheap, but the amount and quality of the food that you get is outstanding. I ordered the burrito loco here, which in my picture does not do justice on how delicious this was. Smothered in sauce and cheese, side of rice and beans, just about defeated me. The insides of the burrito were so delicious and just chocked full of meat and cheeses. The margaritas and whole drink menu was very good. I definitely enjoyed the strawberry margaritas I drank and they were quite boozy. I have probably been coming to the Hacienda for well over the past 12+ years since I grew up in Goshen. I have never been disappointed with a meal there and have supported them in their new location for quite some time as well. During COVID as things have started to open up, I was looking forward to getting out to eat and knew that Hacienda had plenty of outdoor dining. I would say this was probably one of the safest dining experiences I have had since restaurants started to reopen. The policies and procedures for staff and patrons is clearly printed at the front door and you feel easy knowing all the protocols in place. They are only accepting reservations, so plan accordingly! They are also doing this as a precaution for contact tracing in case of an outbreak. How great! The staff is super accomodating and attentive, always willing to refill waters, chips and salsa. The food has always been consistently good and is what I would describe as no frills Mexican food. I pretty consistently get the chicken chimichangas as they are favorite here. The chicken is shredded with some peppers and onions, super moist, and wrapped in a flour tortilla and fried. Yum! As everything always comes out super hot and super fast! No compaints here! All the meals, with the exception of the specials come with rice and refried beans. All dinners also come with chips and salsa and a small cheese quesadilla. Beware the salsa is SPICEY! All the best to drink with a nice cold beverage! If you are looking a some Mexican eats in Orange County I would highly recommend for a nice cold meal and cold margarita! read more

I wish I lived closer to Warwick NY and I envy my son's fiancé (sp?) for living so close and thank her for turning us on to such an amazing restaurant!! We happened to be visiting our newest addition to the family during the Woodstock 50th anniversary weekend. Warwick has an extremely diverse food culture it's definitely worth visiting and checking out. Hopefully I can convey my enthusiasm for this establishment because I forgot a lot of the fine details from our visit. Should have reviewed sooner, but life happens. Sorry... The building itself looks like it was transplanted from some mountainous region of Mexico complete with stunning architecture and beautiful interior. The place is huge! Wrapped porch and patio with plenty of space to start dancing if you were so inclined to do so. The staff was top notch and were so helpful at my pathetic attempts to converse with them in their native tongue! Chips and salsa were immediately delivered after our drinks, but of course, once we seen the strolling guacamole hombre, we were drooling! Wheel that bad-boy over here, que up the mortar/pestle and start grinding! So fresh, so good! I think it was about $10, but well worth it! Be careful though, because they will keep bringing baskets full of chips. It's easy to fill up on that and drink leaving less room for your entree. Our entrees came out and were nothing short of delectable. I will post my pictures and wish I had written down what they were. Bottom line is, you will not be disappointed when you eat here. Yummy! Drove to this place after a day at Legoland and not wanting overpriced park food. A delightful find. We walked right in and got seated right away on a Friday night at 6:45. The service was super and fast. An important thing when you have hungry kids. The kitchen made a special quesadilla for my kiddo and he told me it was so delicious he couldn't stop eating it! I had a classic mojito and chicken taco salad. The drink was perfectly balanced, not too sweet, sour or watery. Taco salad wasn't overdressed and the chicken was flavorful and moist. There was TVs with sports playing around the bar and there was Spanish music playing at a nice volume. This is a full bar with so many alcohol options! The bar is in a completely separate room from the dining area but also right next to it. The restaurant has a nice lay out. After the bar, we went into the dining room to have a birthday dinner celebration. The service was good and they brought us complementary chips with salsa and tortillas with cheese melted in them. With all the good, comes also the not so good.. Although the food was good if not, great, it is very Americanized Mexican food. And if that's what you like, so be it... It is very good (cheesy, yummy) food just not traditional/Authentic. Additionally, it is a little pricey. Overall though, it was a great experience and I would return again for something like this... Have been coming here for New Year's Eve for the past 10 years and love that they moved into a much larger space. My only complaint is they charge you for every soda, and the bottles are tiny! It's a little odd there are no menu prices on their website but once I received the total for our order of 6 entrees, 1 appetizer, 1 al a carte item and a few sides of chip and salsa for about $125, after tax, it seemed to be reasonably priced. Everything was packed well and traveled well. The salsa was too spicy for my enjoyment but I couldn't help but eat more chips and salsa than I should have. I ordered the enchiladas zuisas. Went for my wife's birthday. We had visited before with a sizable group and things went fairly well. It was fair this time. While restaurant itself was not busy, adjoining banquet room was packed. This created a massive problem when trying to park. Lot was jammed to the point where patrons were making up their own parking spaces, fighting over spots, hovering like vultures over spaces. It took me a solid 25 minutes to secure a parking space and it was illegal, in a fire lane. The staff was friendly enough, just not enthusiastic. Waitress could not recall who ordered what food, drinks, etc. It wasn't bad service but it I didn't get the feeling we were overly welcome either. Fair service at best. Food was just ok. Homemade guacamole was very good but the staff seemed annoyed by our request for chips. Taco beef exceedingly bland with some lettuce and a dab of red sauce. Again, very mediocre and something I could have procured at Taco Bell for a lot less. Others in party enjoyed their meals and common thread was that food was not hot enough. I've been to hacienda so many times but today will be the last :( I really feel like I was ripped off. The cups were very dirty, and the menus were sticky. The food seriously had no flavor. The frozen margaritas were melted when they came out, the tamales I got were bland and barely had any chicken stuffed in them, and the staff was incredibly rude. The food is awesome and the establishment is very clean and well maintained...it's very obvious to me that this restaurant is owned by a very experienced person in the restaurant business. The parking situation is very convenient since the lot is huge. The outside seating is also great in any weather since most of the seating is under an overhang and unless the rain is coming in sideways, you may opt to sit inside!
