    Delightfully tacky decor
    Kay S.

Stopped for dinner headed north on 17 from NYC. Easy off and on the highway - something important to us on a long road trip. Convenient, small off street parking lot and fenced outdoor seating area. First thing you notice is the delightfully over-the-top tacky decor. Service was immediate and we were welcomed with complimentary tortilla chips and salsa. The food was delicious and the portions appropriately generous. Theres a full bar and assorted Mexican beers and alcohols but with a 3 hour ride left we stuck with Diet Coke. We make this trip often and will add it to our "great place to stop" list.

When my boys said they wanted to go back to Legoland I was SO excited - my favorite part of the trip was dinner at El Rancho! A year later and I'm so happy to be back! Everything was perfect. I would consider driving 2 hours just to eat here even without visiting Legoland. The service was quick and efficient. The food was incredible! The kids quesadillas were so tasty! The chicken soup was perfect and the shrimp platter was huge! Can't wait to come back! Love the decor too!

Phenomenal real food. Everything was great service cleanliness, drinks. If you're nearby definitely a place to stop in or pick up to go. But I would go in to eat.

Delicious!! We ordered the enchiladas Cancun, enchiladas suizas, chicken hard taco and enchilada combo and everything was THE BOMB! Presentation was amazing and margarita drinks were on point. Jesus was an excellent server, attentive but not hovering which I always appreciate.

I order from them all the time. Enchiladas suisse is my favorite. Their use of spices is the best

Really good food and a warm and lively atmosphere. In a desert of culinary options this place offers a very comforting meal.

If the weather is nice, they have several tables outside. Goshen is a quaint little town right off the highway. We stop here frequently on the way through and are eating our way around the town, many choices. On to the food, I had the vegetarian enchilada which had mushrooms, spinach, peppers cheese and onions with green tomatillo sauce, rice and beans. It was a bit too much onion for me. They might want to mix a bit of beans in there instead of so much onion. Still tasty. My friend ordered the fish tacos, which I sampled and were crispy on outside, tender inside. They need to use cabbage instead of lettuce to hit the taco home. Kid had a nicely priced cheese quesadilla and fries. They have their own Cherry soda! We shall return.

Good vibe and decor is on point, music was a little out of touch for a Mexican Restaurant but I'm not upset, it was good music! Now, i shouldn't have expected too much in terms of authenticity from a place called SuperNacho but nonetheless i was a little disappointed. For one, i ordered the chicken fajitas and each bite of chicken was VERY oily, perhaps the oiliest chicken fajitas ive ever had, the mxn rice was a little underwhelming and the refried beans tasted straight out the can. I also ordered nachos, and honestly everything felt the same. The cheese was 100% the same liquid cheese they get from a can and use on concession stand nachos, Rico's brand i believe, that taste is unique like no other. My mother ordered steak fajitas and they came out just as oily, i don't think I've ever seen that thick a coating of oil on chicken or steak before. Unfortunately the oil didn't taste like very high quality oil, possibly vegetable or canola oil, sits heavy in the stomach post consumption. To be completely honest the food is very underwhelming overall, especially for the price, our food came out to around 140 not including tip for 2 kids drinks, an agua fresca, nachos, enchiladas (these were fine but not note worthy tbh), chicken nachos (fine not noteworthy), kids taco, and 2 fajitas. To be completely 100% honest this is a great spot for people who have never had real authentic mexican food, or if you're starving. We dont plan on coming back

As soon as you're seated they bring the chips and salsa, which are freshly made. A soft tortilla with a mild cheese follows within a couple of minutes. We had two things to eat before the menus were even brought. The kitchen was accommodating to our often picky kids and they were well pleased. I forget the name of the dish we ordered, bit it was basically a platter of steak, pork carnitas and crumbled chorizo. It was well seasoned; flavorful without being too salty, which is a fault I find in some Mexican restaurants. A plate of tortillas and a side of fresh veggies proved too much for my wife and I to finish. The kids' tacos disappeared in a few minutes. The rest of the family split some crispy churros with ice and whipped creams along with a drizzle of chocolate. I nursed a Mexican coffee, which was a nice cup of Joe with a generous shot of Kahlua and whipped cream. We will definitely be returning sooner than later. The price was reasonable, considering what we all thought was great food and friendly service. Well done!

Some of us got coffees which took a bit but they were delicious. Definitely worth the wait. They have a good kids menu too. We got the frychos with chorizo as an appetizer which I've always loved but everyone at the table enjoyed them. Although I have my regular favorites I decided to try something off the brunch menu and I'm glad I did. I got the chilaquiles with green sauce and carne asada. It was very good. My only complaint was the steak wasn't cut up but that could be a personal preference. It tasted great. My husband got the breakfast torta with chorizo and really liked it. My mother in law got the breakfast omelet and she's very picky but loved it. The service was great the entire time. She even took a group photo for us at the end.

Consommé served warm ( not acceptable it must be hot) Shrimp taco had very overcooked shrimp. They didn't give me a meat option they said oh we made a birria torta we thought it's what you wanted. They offered to swap it but if you are familiar with chefs and cooks you just no thank you and take it. According to the staff they are a California style restaurant? The young lady who took the order comped us a lime Aqua Fresca and a sample of churros in hopes we will return. I made no complaints as the order was to go. Birria flavor was good although lacking in thst clove cinnamon aroma.
