Then it just gets worse from there. 2 - You have to wait 5-10 hrs for a ("more appropriate welcoming hospital room") to become available. 3 - our daughter was taken in a stretcher IN 14 degree temp (no coat allowed "for safety reasons") only a SHORT SLEEVED thin hospital top and a THIN sheet. 14 Degrees!! 4 - I noticed a previous patient was rolled out, wrapped in a comfy blanket and warm hat. 5 - If they think they are keeping patients with mental illness "safe" by making them FREEZE.... this is torture! 6 - Once she arrived to Gracie Square Hospital (horrible place) they took her out of the stretcher and made her stand there IN THE COLD, while they scratched their heads over not knowing how to carry the stretcher over the snow. They did not have the empathy to cover her up or at the very least, leave her in the ambulance while they figured things out. 7 - This happened last Tuesday afternoon. Its taken me a full week to write this review because I was focusing every breath on my daughter. 8 - THIS and Gracie Square's hospital only goal is to not get sued over a suicide. They rather torture a patient then provide adequate compassionate care that would in itself prevent a suicide. 9 - If your loved one is suffering a psychiatric emergency, Call 988, or simply bring them into the emergency room but OPT FOR OUTPATIENT CARE. DO NOT LET THEM ADMIT THEM. The hospital experience felt like a 1900's asylum. Come on NYC. get your act together. This is a sad disgrace.

Surely, surely, this cannot be the best system they can come up with. When scheduling an…read moreappointment on the website you have to be there 24 hours in advance of the appointment time ON THE DOT, which is not specified anywhere. That means if you try to schedule an appointment at 9:58, you will be told there are no available appointments. You have to push the button to see available appointments at exactly 10am for a 10am appointment the next day, not a minute earlier or later. This means everyone who wants an appointment is competing to be the first person to hit the buttons once the appointment finally shows up. Appointments are also every thirty minutes, which means if you don't get the appointment you want, you now have to dedicate a day to trying over and over every thirty minutes. If you try to get an appointment by calling, it's really a shot in the dark. You might get a receptionist in a good mood who will schedule you in for a same-day visit, or you might get one of the many, many rude receptionists who will talk to you like you're a misbehaving child and do their very best to let you know they don't care about you or your problems. It's a roll of the dice! Maybe 1/5 possible receptionists are actually there to help people out, so the odds are always against you. On the good side, the doctors are decent once you finally get in.

I am very happy that there are doctors and other medical professionals willing to make less money and helping people in need. And no, this is not the only reason I am here. At the 11th ave location staff are friendly and very helpful and professional at the same time. I use the help of almost every doctor and I am very pleased with the service , especially with Dr Tkachenko and Bojadziewski the endocrinologist. They are top of the top! They dont push medications on you if not necessary, they write referrals to check everything if there is something suspicious, they are there for you, always! So if there are some bad reviews here I wonder if the people wanted something not necessary and did not get it therefore they wrote bad review. I have to say that gave up only on most ( not all) of the dentists because I did not find the compassion I was expecting as well as the professionalism but the rest of the MDs are absolutelly awesome!! They saved my life ! So before you decide to give up on the facility due to a couple weird, angry comments I would say try first and you may have a pleasant surprise. Thank you for taking care of me :) ! I really appreciate your help and sacrifice.

Someone had to drive to another location in the Bronx to bring the supplies. That level of unpreparedness is unacceptable. During my visit, Dr. Kim repeatedly interrupted me and even spoke negatively about the practice, saying she felt sorry for me as a patient. That did not inspire confidence. She also questioned me about the dosages of my medications because she had prescribed the wrong number of refills. I have chronic conditions, yet I was only given three refills, creating unnecessary inconvenience. To make matters worse, the front desk appeared poorly trained. I was charged two copays, even though both visits should have been covered with no copay. I now have to spend additional time getting those charges corrected. Between the excessive wait, lack of basic medical supplies, medication errors, poor communication, and billing issues, this was one of the worst medical experiences I've had. I cannot recommend this practice and would advise others to look elsewhere.

Reviewing for the ColumbiaDoctors Midtown Dentistry team. As a Columbia student on the Columbia…read moreinsurance, I CANNOT recommend. Avoid at all costs if you are able to. Appointments can only be booked 5 months out in advance because of the sheer demand. My teeth are well-cleaned, but the quality of care is not worth the sheer unprofessionalism of canceled appointments and being incorrectly billed hundreds of dollars with no easy way to remedy the billing. 3/5 stars for good care from the staff at the front desk and good care from the hygienists and dentists. 0/5 stars for everything else. Here's a list of complaints from two years of care: - Canceled my appointment 1 week before (even though I booked 5 months ago), they said because of the Christmas tree lighting, and almost refused to rebook me for another 3 months (had to argue to rebook me for the same week). - Billed me incorrectly out-of-network because they messed up their Tax Identification Number with insurance. - Billed me incorrectly at a non-student price despite me confirming with the front desk that I am a Columbia student. Took 5 months to correct. - Was on the phone multiple times with multiple different people to correct billing. Every time they keep telling me "it's an insurance issue" when it turned out it was their problem. - Billed me a year later for an appointment I already paid in full. If anyone in ColumbiaDoctors or Columbia University sees this, FIX YOUR ADMIN. FIX YOUR BILLING. This is unacceptable, shameful, and predatory. You should be ashamed for treating your own students like this!

They are untalented and badly trained and probably make very little money.
