Just had my sons haircut at this place with April and she cut him in 3 different places. Last time we had a good experience with Sarah as she was patient with him so we decided to go back. Horrible idea. April went straight in for the cut and my son was upset, so he was moving around a lot while she was cutting his hair. She cut him in 3 different places and when I pointed it out to her, she said she couldn't have cut him because there are guards with the razor to prevent cut. As you can see from the picture, the cuts are fresh. And she did not do a good job cutting his hair. She seemed like she was in a rush but the salon was empty. She said I probably cut him when I was holding him and assure me she couldn't have cut him. My problem with her is that she did not own up to her mistake. I paid and left. Never coming back to this place ever again. read more

My son has been going here since his first haircut and I will continue to bring him here for as long as possible. The staff is so friendly and took extreme precautions after opening back up. My son never complains about having to get his haircut, he gets excited to sit in the car and watch a movie. April is great! read more

I seriously love this place! I have had my son's hair cut here four times now, and each time has been an absolute pleasure. He just turned two, and they did his first haircut back in January. They even clipped a little lock of his hair and gave us a certificate with his name as a keepsake. I always request either April or Sarah, and they are both amazing! They make you feel welcome, at ease and they are true professionals. I love anyone that always has a smile on their face, and these girls deliver that and more! Even with the new safety protocols in place due to Covid-19, they are just as efficient-- and we love the ability to make appointments now! read more

I went with my 2 daughters recently for their haircuts. They staff was so friendly and accommodating. I saw them cleaning as we walked in and they took our temperatures upon arrival. One of my daughters was very cranky and crying and the lady did such an amazing job. I really appreciate the professionalism. read more

I went today for my 18 month old son's first haircut and had a very good experience. I wish I got the woman's name but she did an amazing job. She was very fast too. Only took 5 minutes and his hair is perfect! My sons hair is fine and thin so she used just scissors. I was really nervous about going because cutting his baby hair was super heartbreaking to me but he looks so much better. We even got a cute little certificate and a lock of his hair to save. read more

We have a 2 year old and 4 year old and have tried several places for kids cuts in the area and this one is the best. They do a thorough job regardless if the kid is screaming their little heads off. Wait times can be long on weekends and they do not accept credit cars but have an ATM on site (withdrawal fees apply). read more

I am going to start by saying with the pandemic my family and I are super particular about where I go and the decision weighs heavily on if I feel the business has taken proper precautions. My two young children (under 4)have not done anything more than car rides for 3 1/2 months. My toddler has asthma so my mom radar is always on high! I have to say April and her team at Hair 4 Kids has done an impeccable job with reopening measures and has gone above and beyond. Her store was always very sanitary but walking in for the first time since March 10th I was quickly set at ease. Floor to ceiling partitions, never reused capes for the children's hair cuts, temperature checks, a new online scheduling system to assure very few patrons are gathered during same time, masks etc!!! As all of us moms struggled with remote everything including remote hair cutting (sigh) I literally skipped into our appointment was quickly greeted by April and blurted out "help! Can you fix this?" Turns out the home cuts I attempted on my 3 year old weren't super fly. Within 8 minutes my little guy was dapper as ever. Any parents as shy as I was to introduce a small amount of normal back into our lives should know this and go see April and her team in Mount Laurel. Even if for now our only tiny shift out of the stay at home phase is going to get my little guys hair trimmed I'll know my family is in safe hands with her business! read more

Took my almost 4 year old daughter and 7 month old son in for their first haircuts and Miss Josie was phenomenal. Couldn't have asked for a better first time experience. She was quick with my son and super gentle. My daughter never lets us put her hair up and she managed to get her to wear a braid for the rest of the day. Will definitely be back. read more
