The store is spacious, has modern decor, and the kind of peaceful vibe that instantly makes you exhale and slow down. The shop itself is beautifully curated -- clean, minimal, but with thoughtful touches like crystals, dried florals/air plants, and cozy lighting. It feels like a space designed to nourish you, body and soul. I was greeted right away by a friendly staff member who was genuinely welcoming without ever being pushy. Main product lines include bath + body, hair, face, lips, tools, accessories, tea, and decor. Revival is my skincare secret. I am normally a skincare snob using only European products but this brand is in line with any high-quality products I've tried (if not better). I often visit or shop online for various products. Nicole the owner makes them onsite with quality ingredients and they really are magic. Everything is made with organic, vegan, and fair-trade ingredients, which is huge for me. I came in to pick up an order for Goddess Golden Hour Facial Mask. While there, I was also tempted by Lush Locks Hair Hydrating Mask and lip balm (my fave, so hydrating). Other products that I personally love are lip scrubs (so coarse and effective), body scrubs (especially the coffee one), and serums (Awaken serum is amazing). You can tell a lot of love goes into these products -- they're not just pretty; they actually work and work very well. I found a new product during my visit - shower affirmation cards (waterproof)! The store offers convenient shopping in store, online (home delivery or pickup). They also have a great point system that offers great value. Revival also offers workshops and events, retreats, like the Gua Sha tutorials and DIY facial sessions. I have been to previous private retreats onsite with friends and it was a lovely opportunity to play with products and try clay masks. Street parking is an available around the area. Watch for various signage when parking. If you get a good parking spot, check out other businesses in the area. Remind, you my Consultation was a month ago so I ask several times to send me the textures via text. She repeatedly ignore my questions and kept asking for a color. To me it doesn't make sense to talk about hair color if the salon doesn't have texture length ect down. I voice the concern of the hair being able to straighten as I do get silk presses. It seem like every question I ask she was getting irritated and never gave me a straight answer. I called spoke to her, ask if they could please send photo or explain the difference with the blow outs. Then again she was rude and told me I had til tomorrow to figure it out or they move appt. She eventually did send pictures but by that time, i was on the phone with her again explaining my concerns. She also sent a text asking for more money. At consultation I paid deposit a less then 300, which is what erica told me i only needed to pay until day of appointment services. Why am i being ask to pay more money ? That seemed odd, and apparently seem a little fishy as the salon hasnt answer my concern but steady asking for more money. Very unprofessional. Now, total services were close to $1,000. This isn't a light decision to make as I wanted a versatile texture but also something that matches my hair style in it natural state. I ask to speak to the owner, and she told me the owner and her made the decision not to service me because this salon isn't the best fit for me. There are several issues here as for one, this salon is owned by a black woman. Which is one of the reason i picked. I try to support our local business owners of ethnic backgrounds.However, most of their service needs and clientele are caterer to whites or non blacks. They do have a few black customers, but not many. I felt like because I'm black and I have ethnic hair, which requires more fineness, it seems like she ( Brittany) just didn't want to deal with my hair or texture concerns. I didn't know asking questions would make the manager Brittany very irritated. It also offended me telling me that im not a good fit for their salon. WOW, that speaks volumes.I believe if I would have spoke to asia or my stylist, the communication would have been better. However, if the owner did really feel that way then maybe ethnic or blacks need to go here if they feel we are not a good fit. Will post the texts. The salon is always clean and they have bottled water and coffee available. TVs are on for when you wait and when you're in the chair and they also have music playing so it's never too quiet. Love that they do raffles and little things for their clients on occasion. Love this place if you're looking for a great experience and not just an in and out great clips or lady Jane's haircut this is the place to go. Lauren is the owner and took the other half of the party and everyone looked great. If you're planning a wedding I would definitely consider getting the parties hair done here. It was great. We had the place to ourselves and they allowed us to bring in some breakfast foods to enjoy while everyone got their hair done. They also had a makeup artist come in who did some of the girls make up, and they allowed others to bring their own and do it themselves. I can't speak personally to the typical hair cuts and other services, however the bride goes here regularly as did one of the bridesmaids mothers an both had nothing but good things to say. The other remaining person on the wait list forgot to check in and after realizing that, asked if they had to wait 20 more minutes and without asking or saying anything to me they took him back and I was moved to the last spot and walked out - unreal experience that makes some things worth giving a review so someone hopefully notices at the higher level and works to correct the disconnect.
