I went to Ulta beauty last night with a group of my close friends, we shopped for a little while before deciding to checkout, upon checkout the associate Jasmine was ringing us up, she didn't greet us at all, she had a nasty tone and overall attitude to her. I then asked her politely to put a product on hold for me just until i came back the next morning, she took my name and set the product aside. When i came back the next morning the product was gone and she acted like she never even spoke to me yesterday. overall my checkout experience was very ugly and i did not enjoy the customer service or the way i was treated. My favorite thing about going to Ulta is checking out all of the employees cool eyebrow styles- Today there were some good ones for sure. I'll be honest and say that when I usually go into Ulta's, I'm ignored. Not sure if it's my RBF or the fact that I wear sweatpants and don't wear much makeup on a daily basis, but not today. I came in looking like a usual slob that I always do, yet got greeted and talked to by a number of staff members. They helped me find what I needed and were super helpful. I could spend all day in Ulta. My current favorites are Kyle lipstick/liner, and Revolution eyeshadow palettes. read more

When I brought this to the managers attention, she apologized for the behavior of the staff and offered me a free gift, but the only acceptable gift is changed behavior. Do better! read more

This is the closest Ulta from my parents house - I had a large return and came here twice in one week and they were very nice and professional about the refunds, it was an online order and everything I returned was refunded correctly, I didn't find anything I wanted to buy in the stores but they have a good selection and a brow bar and a hair care area in the back. read more

My first time at this location, as I was visiting the area. I came in looking for something to boost the shine and make my hair look healthier. I was greated by such a sweet girl; Sarah! She recommended some great products & was really helpful in answering all of my questions. I felt really comfortable w her and decided to get the all over glossing treatment! I didn't even have to wait to schedule an appointment. Sarah did my hair right then, and it made such a difference I LOVE IT! She did such an amazing job cutting and styling my hair, this was seriously the best hair cut and blow out I've ever had! was super easy to talk to & made me look & feel so pretty. it's people like her that make you want to come back. THANKS SARAH! Also this place was reasonably priced and I was pleasantly surprised by that, compared to other salons I've been to. read more

I love Ulta as a store. Decided to try the salon. It is clean and everyone was masked. I was able to schedule an appointment online for the next day. I was scheduled with Javan. He was very friendly and I'm sure he's a talented stylist but he did not do well with my curly hair. I told him I didn't need any length off other than a trim to freshen the ends but I needed some shaping. Showed him a picture. He freshened up the ends, pulled out the blow dryer and that was it. Did not do any shaping. I ended up with the dreaded triangle. Spent the rest of the day in front of the mirror with a pair of scissors. I take some responsibility because I didn't speak up while I was there but I thought once I shook it out, it would be better. It was not. read more

I've been going to this ulta for the past year since I moved to Parma and every time I go, l get followed the entire time. Today I came in and I timed myself for how long I was in there and how many times someone would asked me if I needed help and how many people would follow me and I was in there for 10 minutes and someone asked me if I was OK seven times. I didn't even want to continue shopping because of how hard I was being followed. Every aisle I went into there was The same lady following me into each aisle I was in. I went in there for five things and I only left with two. That will be the last time I will go to that location and it's a shame I'm gonna have to drive 25 minutes to the next Ulta just to feel a little more comfortable shopping. I also asked for help finding a product and instead of looking up the product or asking someone else they just told me they didn't have it and then I walked around and I eventually found it myself still being followed. I'm not one to complain. Today will be that day. I went to ulta with my daughter to go look at perfume fragrances, some make up, and face products. First off when we walked in the door I could feel the sense of judgement with me and my daughter by what we were wearing. I don't like to say people are racist, I definitely felt that today. I got asked if I needed help by the same lady six times, and by a different lady four times. The whole time they kept walking back-and-forth wherever my daughter and I were looking around the aisles. They were trying to see if I was going to shoplift. I understand that they are doing their job, BUT I should be able to shop there while being comfortable. I was there to spend money, and I spent over $425 between my daughter and I. I felt like I wanted to leave, because I was so uncomfortable. Instead I put my pride aside, and I tried to stay positive even though they made me feel uncomfortable while trying to enjoy myself by shopping with my daughter. I will definitely not come, and spend my money at the store ever again. They also wanted to ask me if I wanted a store card after all of that. Just want to say to anyone whoever goes in the store that is a different race. Just be careful, because they will make you feel uncomfortable. What's sad is they didn't bother other women that were around us that were different races. They would judge you by what you look like; all because of what you are wearing. So sad. read more

Jamie is a nice person, however, her hairdresser skills were so weak! Probably, she should groom the pets, not the humans! So, she did very mediocre job. Shame on you, guys! I've had my eyebrows done many times at other ulta locations and this is the first time I've been unhappy. they are completely unsymmetrical and the stylist didn't ask what I wanted at all and shaped them in a super unflattering shape. I have tried multiple times to get an appointment at the brow bar but every time I call I am put on hold or transferred i waited 10+ minutes then call dropped. For the most part the customer service was very good. However I was looking to buy a new brand of foundation due to the fact that store did not have mine. We were literally in the middle of choosing a shade and holding the mirror when a very rude customer came up to the sales associate and interrupted her to help with something. The sales associate said absolutely nothing to me, like excuse me I will be right back or I am so sorry-She just left me holding the mirror and walked away to help with her. I could hear them talking and I knew this was going to be a while by the way they were talking. I guess I don't know If I am more upset with the rudeness entitlement of this customer or the sales associate totally abandoning me holding the mirror with all of my samples. Went here with a girlfriend from out of town. I went in looking for some things they unfortunately didn't sell but it wasn't a big deal. I asked a sales associate and she didn't seem to know what product I was looking for which was a moisturizer. She then preceded to attempt to sell me cheap eyeshadow ( this didn't feel like her just telling me about a sale but shrugged it off) and I told her no thank you and proceeded to look around. I understand that employees have to do loss prevention, however I was followed by 3 employees after that, they were very obviously coming up to any rack I touched to make sure I hadn't stolen anything while really aggressively following me around the store. I honestly saw a couple things I wanted to purchased but I was so disgusted I left empty handed. I worked retail for years. There are ways to do loss prevention without making your costumers feel like criminals and like they don't belong there. I rather purchase things at double the price from a sephora then be profiled because I didn't dress up to come buy my 60 dollar moisturizer. read more

My mom was just in and she was approached THREE times within 5 min of being there and all my mother was doing was comparing lipstick colors. First the manager comes to her and asked her if she needs help looking for anything, and my mother said she was just comparing lipstick colors, THE MANAGER than says to her "ok but don't open the lipsticks" and my mother said she wasn't opening them. Than a second associate approached her and asked her as well, than a third. My mother was there the day before and came in today just to exchange and she had to go through these employees who were raising suspicion thinking she is going to steal. Unbelievable and disgusting. How did my mother go in spending over $50 on cosmetics to getting discriminated the next day. The people at this location are disgusting and gross for judging someone based on how they're dressed. Don't judge a book by its cover, and learn a thing or two on how to approach customers. And if you don't respond to this, than you clearly don't care about customer service. If you need your hair bleached I do not recommend their salon. My hairdresser, summer, was a very nice polite girl but she definitely needs more practice when it comes to bleaching. I had 3 inches of overgrown roots and simply needed my roots touched up. I have yellow spots on the top of my hair and underneath. She insisted it looked great but when it dried out I was disappointed with my results. Instead of the platinum blonde look I asked for I left with gray hair and some brassy spots. read more

I usually shop all realms of makeup- Ulta, Sephora, and many indie brands. This location has never been great at customer service. Normally, when I ask about a new product that is just coming out, the employees don't even know what I'm talking about. It would really help if the employees would know about what's going on in the beauty community to help customers. Anyways, this location just recently started carrying the international drugstore brand, Sleek (when I say recently, I mean just got a shipment today). I called around 2pm and asked specifically if they could put two of the highlighting palettes in the Solstice shade on hold. I have really been wanting to try this product. The employee was very nice and said it was no problem. She then proceeded to ask ME about the product because she wasn't familiar with it (again, the employees should really know these things). I went in at 5pm and asked for my items that were on hold. There were three different palettes- none of which were the colors I asked for. One of the employees checked in the back and said there were no more. She did call another location and when that fell through, offered me free shipping. I just don't know how in the span of a few hours all of these palettes sold out. Either customers were really excited or the employees put this specific color on hold for themselves- this happens A LOT. I have several friends who work at Sephora/Ulta. I'm just very disappointed in the customer service at this location. read more
