I saw that you could request an appointment on their Yelp page, I thought that was pretty cool so I sent my request and within minutes I got a phone call to book an appointment. The lady on the phone let me know that the time I requested was available. I was actually surprised since it was so last minute! It's a very small but super cute salon, and very clean might I add. First impressions are everything so just by the looks of this place walking in, I knew I picked the perfect place to get my eyebrows done. My stylist was Elvia, she was seriously so kind and made sure to do my eyebrows exactly how I wanted them done. She asked specific questions on how I wanted them done so they would come out perfect, which they did! They used an organic wax, (not to sure of the name) but I really liked it and she wasn't rough with me at all. It was the best waxing experience I've ever had. Literally no pain!! She works incredibly long hours and makes every effort to schedule her clients on days and times that are convenient. I went to Ladawna a couple of months ago and she rushed me out of her chair when one of her friends showed up. The color job she did washed out in less than two weeks. She did not cut the underlayer of hair, so I feel that I got a jacked up hair cut. I paid for her to put in beach wave curls, and that did not happen. When I called her last week to book another appointment for another haircut (just a trim and thin), she did not remember me at all. I was taken back by it, and she had increased her prices because she thought I was a new client. We finally agreed on appointment and then I had to cancel because my child got sick. She texted me later that day and said that she was booked for the rest of month, but she told me that the whole month of July was open. So I chose July 15, then she said that she did not work Saturdays. Then I chose 14th, then she came back with, she had to leave her books open for her existing clients. Then she had the nerve to try to pawn me off on the other lady in her salon. At that point I told her I would take my business elsewhere. Obviously, this is a hobby to her and only is in the business to take care of her friends. My advice to anyone who is looking to get their haircut...go elsewhere...she is not worth the hassle...she will not remember you, she will overcharge you on purpose...her quality of work is subpar at best because you are not an "existing client." read more
