Is it weird to say I'm in love with the salon and all who work here ? Yea? Ok well whatev because this place is amazing. Shelby totally fixed my hair after I decided it was a good idea to be a cheap ass bitch and cut it myself (never again and both Shelby and Micheal made sure I learned that lesson before I left). I've never been here before and from my first phone call to my appointment it was nothing but wonderful. I was SO nervous about getting my hair cut since literally every single time I've done it in the past they totally messed it up. (Other salons) But Shelby was so damn sweet and comforting, that quickly went away. So, this place knows how to treat a customer! Brooke is very talented and did an amazing job on my hair and beard! She took the time to listen to all of my hair style questions. And because I'm a dog groomer we were able to vibe real good on the minor styling details to my future beard look (trying to let it grow) she and her coworker were very helpful in recommending products for me to use on my beard (some things I've never heard of) like a cordless electric heated beard brush! . This hair place is classy, warm, and inviting. Very relaxed vibe with no fuss and when you make an appointment for 4:30pm and you come in a little early. She was already waiting and ready to go! No waiting for someone to finish up the last cut, no BFF's cutting in your place, and defiantly no waiting for your barber to come back from a food run! The staff was friendly and courteous and although I was only able to show a picture of what I wanted, Michael was able to do magic. He was also able to repair some damage I had done by cutting my own bangs.. I came out with an amazing hair cut, did not feel rushed and felt like he took pride in the work he did in my hair. Hello first of I heard nothing but good things about you Michael, but can you please speak to Shelby about professionalism. My fiancé has been going to her for about a year and shelby has canceled numerous times. This weekend is her birthday and she was looking forward to get her hair done and this girl canceled on her THE DAY OF! This is not the first nor the second or maybe even the third. At one point she made a mistake and thought her appointment was at 900 when it was at 10 and had the audacity to say "we'll long as you make it by 930. Can you please prompt her in scheduling, and also being professional and sticking to her appointments! Although emergency's are understandable but being tired cuz she worked as a bartender is inexcusable. She has no respect of her clients time and schedules and to top it of she only mediocre so please give her some hair tips to because she is canceling like she is Paul Mitchell. Artistic Designs is now my go-to salon for my hair needs. The owner, Michael, is super friendly and welcoming. Entire shop is clean as well as the bathroom (which is a big deal to me). I also think this is the only salon whose coffee I actually like to drink. I'm so excited that my favorite stylist, Nadine, is back in town and working here! She's been cutting my hair for as long as I can remember but we both left town years ago and, fortunately, returned back at the same time. As military AND a curly, dry haired-doll - I have to consistently switch up hair stylists every few years BUT also have to be very cautious with who I go to. Yes, Nadine is usually very booked up BUT you can either book ahead of time and be sure you're safe in her hands OR go to a cheaper/quicker booking salon that may leave you looking like Britney during that one episode... Brooke did a reverse balayage style for my wedding hair, loved it but was kinda above my price range. The salon is clean with cool people. This place is AMAZING! Michael has been doing my hair for about 20 years and I when I moved 6 1/2 hours away I cried. I have yet to find someone who can do my the way that he did it. So I didn't have in cut in three years not even a trim and I came into town after Christmas and he did his magic. This salon can get busy so busy that I I can't even get in, but all the ladies and Michael do their very best to accommodate you. Shelby has done my daughters hair and is a miracle color specialist! I had gone to another salon 2 weeks earlier and when i came out my hair was 2 different colors and not what i had wanted at all. i was so bummed! i heard about this salon from a few fellow navy wives who had a good experience here and figured ill give it a try! Ms. Michael was EXCELLENT! he not only fixed my hair and made it match throughout my head, but he also told me if i needed to come back within the week, if i was unhappy, he would fix it up for me. pretty sure i will not need to go back because i think he got it right the first time. you can tell he was confident and knew what he was doing. i liked his relaxed manner and the place is really nice! he even gave me a tour of all the work theyve done to the place.. felt like he was an old friend to be honest. it was a great overall experience, im definitely going back and definitely telling my friends about this place! if you are looking for a good experience, give this place a shot. by the way, my hair was not only multicolored, it is a bit kinky curly too. read more

The ONLY place in Lemoore/Hanford to get your hair done. Yes, even better than Regis in the mall, and the quality and prices are SO much better, too! I have had my hair cut by several of the ladies in the shop and never had an issue. I even had one of Ms. Michael's more inexperienced stylists do it. She said she was interning for the best in the area and I was so appreciative that she asked Ms. Michael to check her work. He gave a little instruction on how to cut a pixie around the ears and the job was top notch!
