I read extension reviews and take what people say about their experiences to heart about professionalism, hair texture, customer service and quality when they have dealt with certain hair companies. But, after speaking with Angel and determining that she was extremely professional and had a great sense of humor, I purchased hair from her. I will be honest about my experience because during the pandemic, I taught myself how to dye hair using You Tue and let's just say, there was the good, the bad and the ugly LOL. Even though I colored my multiple bundles during the pandemic, the hair did not mat, shed or tangle ever and for that I am grateful. As a result, I kept all of my hair, colors and all that I purchased from her and when I finally found someone to sew it in and or make a wig for me, all of it has stood the test of time. By that I mean, I have had hair from Tresses for almost two years now and have had several wigs and some sew-ins done. The hair has not shedded, holds color very well and I am still a loyal customer of Tresses. I also have to thank the stylists that corrected my You Tube directed colors LOL. The receptionist scheduled the appointment for Saturday. When I called on Saturday to confirm the appointment the person I spoke with was initially unable to find the booking. Eventually she found it. Upon arriving with my daughter for her appointment, I was told again that they couldn't find the booking. When the lady at the front desk eventually found it, I was told that I had only requested one service and that the stylist didn't have enough time to do a silk press. This is unacceptable, and they need to get themselves sorted out. I'm will not be coming back here.

I was greeted very nicely and introduced to the stylist. the salon is peaceful and beautiful and welcoming. my stylist Bre, discussed what i needed although i registered on line for the appointment. I was taken back to the sinks and she did a wonderful, but quick wash. I have natural hair since the Pandemic but she did a great silk press. I was so pleased with it. My hair was so soft and flat that I was truly shocked and it didn't take all day. The style fit me although we had never met but it was wonderful. She was so gentle and handled my hair with care, she does my hair the same way I would do my own hair. Unlike a lot of Dominican hair salons she doesn't use excessive amount of heat. I turned my card off and deleted my Style seat account and got another notification that another stylist from this shop, Crystal, was attempting to charge my card for an appt. Please do not book!
