Decided to give this place another shot today and regret every minute of it. I had a 1:30 appointment and they called me and asked me if I could come in at 3:00. I arrived at 2:55 and signed in. At 3:20, I told a female coworker about my reschedule, wait time, and asked if there was another technician available. She told me that she would check and would be right back. She never came back! I just left at 3:28. I walked up to the same woman that was supposed to come back to me (she was doing a pedicure) and let her know I was leaving. All she said was "Oh, you're leaving? Sorry about that". Such a bad experience with horrible follow up and zero customer service. They are horrible at scheduling so do not come here if you don't have a ton of time to waste. read more

Got a mani/pedi done today - the two girls who did them did a really great job. They were very thorough and my nails look great. However, this place is disgusting. It is filthy. Dust covered everything. I went to sit in the pedi chair and there was grime and white stuff all over the seat. I asked for a towel to sit on, and didn't want to touch anything. I nearly got up and left but didn't want to be rude. They didn't offer a beverage which I feel like is pretty standard these days. The chair was comfy enough, just really dirty. Because of the cleanliness alone, I will not be back. Which is a bummer because I liked the work they did. Management...clean your establishment, it's not that hard. read more

I saw the reviews and decided to try this nail salon myself. I was impressed. I decided not to make an appointment since I was in a hurry and walked-in. It took them 20 minutes to attend me and it was reasonable since they were low on staff. Overall, they did a marvelous job on my nails. Soooo lately I haven't been able to get in to my regular nail salon. The nail tech I fell in love with has been BOOKED N BUSY and with me being on such a limited schedule, I just don't have the time. So based on reviews, I've went to my local nail salon aka Studio 138. The first time I went was for a pedicure only which was a great job done. The next time I came back I needed SNS done. Now, me being fearful, I asked for the best of the best. I'm very particular about the thickness of my nails and the shape. I was then given to Emma, who has done my SNS sets the last few times. Emma is wonderful. I rarely have to correct her and she does a great job. Plus she's very well mannered and she knows what she's doing. I've been very pleased with how my nails have looked and I'm not sure if I'm going to go back to my old nail tech at this rate! I just moved to Covington last month, and was searching for a new nail salon after using the same trusted salon in Loganville for years. The first salon I went to was awful. Then I decided to try out Studio 138, and I am completely amazed. Emma did my acrylics, and she took such good care of me. My nails were awfully thick from the previous salon, and she shaved them down to be more natural. She took her time getting everything perfect, and this is the first time I didn't have to go home and file/reshape my nails after an appointment. Nothing about this manicure triggered my OCD. Having recently moved to a Conyers with one bad experience with another nail salon, I tried Studio 138 after being referred here. The staff is excellent and the vibe is awesome. My SNS service was exactly the way I wanted as was my pedicure. I also had my brows done (waxed). Upon checking out, my daughter and I booked another appointment two weeks out. After having been loyal to an Atlanta nail salon from the time I moved there until relocating here, I am happy to have found a new salon that I can count on so close to home. This was my first time coming here because my other salon was closed. I was greeted by a receptionist who helped me with the pricing and services. Then I followed her upstairs to meet my nail tech (Tink) Yall... SHE HOOKED IT UP! I was here a couple of weeks ago and the owner was on vacation. The young black lady that did my acrylic nails must have been inexperienced. The acrylic was lumpy, nails were crooked and they grew out in a week. Two of them broke which rarely happens to me. I had to get a fill early and he said fungus was growing after a week! I pay more money expecting quality service but this was amateur work for an expensive price. Big waste of time and money. They will never see me again! read more

Space is nice People nice Customer service is really good (I use to go to beauty nails up the street in Parker Road but the customer service started lacking and so did the quality) When I go to the nail shop I want to relax and get away not watch movies that's so loud it drives me nuts! Here I was able to relax and allowed Emma and Touch to take care of my needs. I was very pleased they remembered my name when I called and asked me how I liked the service they even helped me pick my nail color. The coverage of the polish was excellent I will be back this will be my new shop very modern space as well that was excellent. The owner was personable as well. I went in because of the Yelp reviews and pictures. I guess I should have paid attention that most of the pictures and reviews were from about a yeat old. I had A pedicure and SNS done. It took about 2 hours for both of my services to be done. So you would think that I came out there with my nails and toes looking flawless...unfortunately that was not the case. I knew when I walked out of the shop that I would not be returning. My toenail polish was lumpy, and to get my nails to look halfway decent because they were uneven and the SNS was stuck to the sides of my fingers had to go home and buff and file my own nails and apply a regular topcoat to make it look nice. The next day I left out of town to go on vacation and within 24 hours of me having my services done my SNS nails started to lift at the bases. So sad to say I wasted m read more

I have been going to this salon for a few months now and had my first awful experience. I invited my mom to come with me and we arrived as walk-ins (normally we make an appointment) I know they were busy so I expected to wait for a free tech but my mother and I were seated right away and had our SNS soaking in acetone. My tech came and started the removal and started application of the new SNS. An hour goes by and I noticed my mom had no one working on her. My tech was kind enough to check on her and turns out the staff forgot about her entirely! She had been soaking so long that there was nothing left to remove. My tech spends 10 minutes looking for someone available and no one is free. My mom storms out visibly upset and knows that she'll never be back. My tech was great with her work and discounted my service so I can't penalize her for this. read more

This was a different type of nail salon than what I'm used to and not in a bad way. I can't remember what the guys name was who did my pedicure but he was so super gentle with my feet, it was like none other. In all the years that I've gotten pedicures I have never had anyone handle my feet with such care. It was awesome and no blemishes with the polish. I also got a fill in which was a little too thick for my liking but it was quick. They also take the time to learn your name and call you by such , very professional and reasonable prices. I have found my new nail salon! Based on Yelp reviews, my husband and I stopped in for pedicures. I also got a gel manicure. The owner and his daughter, Keo and Jade, were extremely friendly and chatted with us throughout the entire service. Keo told us about his current and past experience in the nail salon business, and you can really tell that he is setting himself apart from other nail salons- especially in the area of customer service and service QUALITY. They did not rush through our service, they were very detail oriented, and they weren't at all pushy about upgrading services like I have grown to expect at other nail salons. The salon itself is very modern and trendy. Exposed floors and ceiling beams give a cool, industrial feel to the place and the entire salon is surprisingly open and spacious. They have a great collection of Kiara Sky and other brand polishes. More importantly, the salon was super clean!! This salon has only been open for about six months, but if they continue with their excellent service, they have the real possibility of being the best salon in the area! The girl working on my nails seemed to not totally know what she was doing. I came in 3x 1 as a walk in and 2 as an appt. they kept telling me all 3 times it would be a 30-40 min wait even with an appt. Which I had the patience to wait for but the 3rd time is not okay. You can't have 1 manicurist and 1 pedicurist if you have multiple people waiting around and please don't offer a walk in if your services cannot be executed in a timely manner. I'm from LA, I understand busyness and traffic to a tee. it's Monday it couldn't have been that problem. Someone I trust recommended this salon. I made my appointment for 11A Wed morn. I called a couple of times to let them know I was running behind and got no answer. I got there about 11.15 and Stephanie came out to help me. She asked for my name and looked it up and said I had no appointment, she then asked for my phone #, she said I was booked under the name Esther...my name is Kathleen ???.....Stephanie asked me to have a seat. I thought was to get the Tech I had an appointment with. After waiting for about 15 mins I got up to find out what was going on, Stephanie came out again (meantime there was a conversation and laughing going on with a couple of people somewhere to the back of the Salon) I asked what was going on....she said the receptionist had an emergency and did not come in, and she was trying to find out about the Tech I had an appt with....The Tech called out ....smdh (so no one knew who was there to reach out to her clients and let them know, after all it was by appointments) Stephanie half turns and asked me if I would like to reschedule for later that day or another time. I told her I could not (I was pressed for time..work and leaving for out of state) and now she fully turns dismissing me because she said "I don't know what to tell you" and I responded "thanks for caring" she responded "I don't know what that means" Closing:- Studio 138 must make a hell of a lot of money to not not care about there customers While the spot/decor might be different and looks good, the attitude of the people was not I will absolutely tell everyone I can to not patronize At the end of the day, we all work hard for what we have, manis/pedis are luxuries and not necessities. I live in Conyers so I think I should put my $$ back into Conyers and not go out to get services which are right here in Conyers. This is a newer salon, I think it's only been open for a month or so, and today was my first time coming. I love the modern, rustic look on the inside and the staff is friendly. I love how my nails turned out. I left my last salon because of poor customer service and my nails would only last for a week and then separate, lift, or break. So far so good with Studio 138! Plus it has a salon in there where the stylist specializes in natural hair and can do weaves and sew-ins as well. One stop shop! read more

So my friend made reservations for us to go get pedis on Saturday at 5 which i would suggest (the last time i tried to walk in and was told there was an hr wait). When we arrived we were greeted by a welcoming receptionist who confirmed our reservation and asked u to select the services we would like. I got the jelly pedicure $40 and a fill in with gel polish (can't remember the cost, believe it was $27). We were then taken to pedicure area and i service began. The service was wonderful, the ladies were nice and took their time to give us a great experience. I definitely didn't feel rush like you can be at some other places. The jelly pedicure was a cool experience and they also did a sugar scrub that was made of milk and honey (so soothing). Over he had a great experience here. The service can be a lil pricey but hey you get what you pay for and it was worth it! Will definitely take my mom to try this place read more
