I had my trial run scheduled for Wednesday of the week I was getting married. Long story short, I had to cancel my trial run due to unavoidable circumstances that were out of my control. When I came in for my styling, my hair was already straightened from the day before, which I've always been told to do since my hair is naturally very bushy, frizzy, and wavy. Jessica made multiple comments about it saying "you shouldn't have come in with it straightened" and when I apologizer and said I didn't know, she made another snide comment saying, "well this is why you should've come to your trial". She made other short, rude comments along the lines of how much hair I had and how she wished she would've known (even though I told the receptionist when I scheduled) and just seemed exacerbated by everything. My hair did turn out great in the salon, but fell out quickly due to the heat. I had to re-curl my hair myself in my hotel room before heading to our venue. On top of the poor service, they charged me a whopping $85 for a HALF up-do! Literally all she did was pin up half of my hair and curl it. Way over-priced for what was done, but because it was my wedding day and had places to be, I just paid it and left. I recommend to anyone getting their hair done for their wedding day to explore other options. You'll probably get better service and a better price somewhere else.

She skipped filing my nails and did nothing with my cuticles. Polish was sloppy and all over the skin surrounding the nails. The gel extensions are not much better. They look so bad. So sloppy. I have also had a haircut at this salon. That was bad also. I asked for my hair to be cut to right about my shoulders. Instead, my hair stops right under my ears. Rebecca (don't quote me on that name) was my waxer, she is very soothing and nice and likes to incorporate crowd participation. She has you pull back your skin as she yanks, she thinks having some control of the process makes it less painful. Let's be honest, you're ripping all the hairs out of my lady pocket, nothing short of full blown anesthesia is going to make this go any better for me. She is quick and pleasant and even did a clean up with tweezers at the end. I was happy. Until I got the mirror and got real personal with myself. I didn't just pay 80 american dollars for you to not do everything. A Brazilian is not just a glorified bikini waxing, it is supposed to leave me bald as Telly Savalas. This one didn't. I've had cheaper, better, and more complete waxes everywhere else I've been. Lesson learned, make my appointment far enough in advance that I can go to my first choice (MC Hair in Cuyahoga Falls) rather than jumping on this.
