She was excellent and was able to converse while working and the result was probably one of the best cuts we have had in a while. When we went back last week we were told she did not work there. We asked where she went and were told about Hair Shack. The Hair Shack was close and as usual we were given the same excellence and are extremely satisfied with Summers work! She does manicures and pedicures and coloring as well. Her prices were great and she is always quick. A young lady was brought to me, and I thought she was the shampoo girl. The other stylists all had nice clothes on, and their hair done. This young lady was wearing torn (possibly dirty) jeans and an old t-shirt. Her hair looked like she just rolled out of bed. I was hopeful though. After a bad experience prior, this young lady listened to what I wanted. She did give me a great shampoo. I didn't feel like she finished the style, as my hair looked messy, so I asked to have some curl put into the style. I also had my eyebrows done. She did a great job with that. I'd recommend her there! In the end, the haircut was pretty close to what I wanted, and I was able to work with it when I got home. She DID listen to what I wanted, which was more than the first attempt, in another salon had done. I started to wonder if any of the younger stylists care how they look, since this was the second stylist, (at the other salon) that didn't seem to care. I read some really great reviews about Hair Graphics but, in the end, I gave this experience just an "OK' rating. It's just my opinion but, looks matter when you are walking into a salon for the first time, and I worried that, if the stylist didn't care how she looked, why would she care if I looked ok, walking out?

Charlie had been my stylist for many years prior but I had gotten away from him in the past few years. I was wanting to get back on his schedule for regular appointments. About 1 hour before my scheduled appointment, the owner of the salon, Donna Thall, called to notify me that my appointment was cancelled because Charlie was uncomfortable with doing my hair! One hour before my appointment when I had been on the schedule since October. I had been a client of Charlie's since he began his career. Never, ever did her tell me while I was in his chair I made him uncomfortable. I was flabbergasted by the remarks and was totally devestated. I went to the salon anyway to speak face to face with Charlie only to find another client ready to jump into the chair that had been scheduled for me! I guess I was a nobody in their eyes and the other client held way more importance! I have supported this business since it's inception with pedicures, manicures, purchasing gift cards, etc and then to be treated like a nobody! The owner is to blame here, not her employees! She is very demeaning, judgemental and not a person that makes you feel welcome when you walk thru their door. Beware! The business deserves NO STARS but you have to add one in order to post!

We started off with a very friendly young lady that wasn't entirely sure how to achieve a "cheer bump" with a high pony tail but eventually it was achieved. They did not have a little enough curling iron to achieve cheer curls. The older lady blame shifted everything on the male stylist. Saying he did not make it perfectly clear what it was I was expecting. Luckily the male stylist stepped in and did the best he could with what he had. I was terribly disappointed in the style and was handed her bow and told to have one of the other moms help me. Over all it seemed to be an ok establishment. We wont' be back. I had a better experience at Clarksburg Beauty Academy unfortunately.
