And I was expecting a pretty high price for the treatment but for around 240ish she could make my hair look so much better. I immediately booked an appointment! That price is honestly really reasonable for how my hair looked initially and how long it was. (Another place that shall not be mentioned told me 360 maybe 390) Nicole was a super sweet person and has really great advice for how to take care of my hair after the treatment. She was just overall a kind and sweet lady! The results of my treatment was night and day. The frizziness went away pretty much completely and it was so soft and shiny! To be more helpful for others, I will write this review on the actually business itself and not the stylists since that is harder to review. When you walk in you cannot help but feel the hip chic cuteness immediately. It is definitely noticed that the place spent time decorating in a certain way with the absolute specific items they wanted displayed. Back by the washing stations I absolutely love the time it took to paint the design on the wall. It looks awesome and you can tell a lot of time and patience went into creating it. The place is always super clean and tidy. They offer many different drinks from local coffee from Herman's Boy-my favorite, nice teas and water. There are also champagne shaped glasses available but I do not know if that is what they serve. The atmosphere is really relaxed, and even though the place is nice, it isn't a place your feel that you are stuffy in trying to feel like a certain status. The first time I went, I did one streak of highlight called a flash highlight (over 200$) to test the waters and it turned out great, so I came back expecting the same quality. This time was completely different. Paige double-booked another client and had her assistant handle most of my appointment. The assistant was extremely rough while washing my hair even after I repeatedly asked her to be gentle. She seemed annoyed that I said something and actually handed me the brush and said "do you want to brush it?" I shouldn't have to explain the same thing twice to her assistant when I already paid for a consultation to make sure this wouldn't happen. Paige barely checked in, didn't review my foils before they were rinsed, and my hair came out yellow and orange instead of the cool blonde I asked for. I didn't even get to choose the toner or discuss the results before being told by the assistant to pay. I also asked for thicker highlights and ended up with baby lights that looked uneven in tone. I walked out in tears and paid $265 for results that look like I used a bottle of Sun-In at home. I'm beyond frustrated and will not be going back. Letting an inexperienced assistant take over while charging full price is completely unacceptable.
