This was far and away the best experience I've had. Not only did my hair cut and beard trim look better than any other time I've had it professionally done, the experience as a whole was well worth it. Stephanie was very professional and made the whole experience very enjoyable. The studio is gorgeous and very accommodating. I will for sure be booking again and again in the future. I had in-depth discussion on phone about my situation and was adamant I could not use any extensions that were sewn or taped due to pressure on my hair. I specifically asked about Halos. I was advised they did not do halos but they had many options to help that would not aggravate my hair loss and they scheduled me a consult to meet with the owner, Shaddrica, who would assess and put me with an appropriate specialist. When I arrived I met with someone else (not the owner) and was advised they only did 2 kinds of extensions...taped and sewn in! I told her I didn't think I should have to pay the $50 consult fee since I specifically told the scheduler I could not do those kind and was assured they had many other kinds. She apologized for the misinformation indicating they had a lot of new girls who are still learning. She went and talked to the owner who came out and talked with me for about 10 minutes, explained why halos wouldn't work and said they had some super lightweight, small tape ins that she was sure would not cause more hair loss and if they did, they would tell me right away. She said she'd do a color match and get pricing together for me while I thought about it as it would take a bit to do the pricing. She did not do the color match but did collect the $50 consult fee that she assured me could be applied to service. After not hearing from her about pricing and talking with my dermatologist, I messaged her to tell her I decided against taking a risk with any extensions until we figure out the hair loss cause and asked if she would apply the $50 to a deep conditioning treatment. No response. So, I'm out $50 and received nothing. They are $50 richer and get this review. Can't believe anyone these days

Not only did they bleach my hair so badly it looked like I was an 80-year-old with grey hair, but it also took them five rounds to fix the mistake. I'd talked to my previous stylist about my concerns but she told me it had to be cut that way because of how the hair falls. What I particularly liked about Wendy: I asked her what she thought before telling her my concerns and she immediately identified the issue that I was concerned about and brought up how she could lighten it up and redirect that weight. Additionally, she cuts it dry so she can get a feel for how your hair moves and wants to lay. I also had her foil my hair in the initial visit. She was able to capture the tone of my natural color so the foil sort of blends with my grey almost eliminating that line of demarcation you get as a foil grows out. This means I should be able to go longer between foils or do more partial foils as long as I don't go too light. I've been back once after 2.5 months just for a cut because I didn't need another foil. I was kind of hoping to save money over my previous place and this was about the same or a little more. But it was worth it as I really appreciate Wendy's approach and even more importantly, results! I've been back once for a cut and already booked my next foil.
