Steph went above and beyond to make me look and feel beautiful on both of my wedding days, my small COVID wedding and my large dream reception. Steph listens and has amazing intuition for styles (for some of my less decisive bridesmaids), and added extra pizazz to make sure every woman felt and looked incredible. Her prices and travel fees are extremely reasonable, and her artistry is unmatched. Save yourself the time and give Steph a shout so you feel as beautiful as I did on my special day(s)!

The phone message says, "Leave your number and we will get back to you BUT NO ONE EVER DOES" I have left many messages[ 20+] and am totally ignored. Why can't the phone message at least give a period of time when someone will be there to make appointments? Or else if your message says you will be called back, have someone CALL BACK! today when I called for the ninth time, [ since yesterday] it says the Message box was full! That means others are having the same problem. This rude treatment has been going on for years now. I have never in all my years, 88 seen a dud business like this. If they don't want to have customers, then just close.... or else get together and provide a way to make appointments. If you say you are open then provide phone access to make appointments. When I drive there to see if it is open as the computer ad says it is, it is locked. With technology as it is today, the phone can ring and the call transferred to some other location for a person to schedule the part-time workers. If it is a part-time business the technicians that are using it should split the hourly wage of providing someone to accept appointments for them. Then leave the time slots that will be available open to be filled. That way appointments are scheduled all in one or two days instead of single, scattered appointments all over the place. It would be a much better respect for your time management. It certainly does not give any respect for the customers time and is totally ride.

My natural hair is very frizzy and curly; It's what Korean people call "ak-seong gop-sul"…read more(malicious curl). I've stopped going to hair salons several years ago after trying to get the straightening perm at several different locations, because it was never successfully done. I used to have to pay at least $260 to get my hair straightened, always dissatisfied with the results, and I hated getting comments from the stylists like, "oh wow your hair really is curly", "wow your hair is a lot thicker than it seemed at first", "your hair is too thick and it is very difficult", & "we'd have to charge you extra because of your hair type".... Which all made me very hesitant when my boyfriend found GN Beauty and suggested I give it a chance. Well, I'm sure a picture will say it better than a thousand words. :) and yes, the price was better than how the other salons in my past asked for!

I'm in love with my hair! This was the most drastic thing I've done to my hair other than chop off…read more12 inches 6 months ago. I specifically came to this salon because I wanted wispy bangs in the style that Koreans typically have them. I contemplated getting a digital perm prior to coming here but decided that I wouldn't. However, the man who worked here convinced me into it. He also tried to convince me into getting highlights, dye, and nails done but I was able to say no to those things. I had 3 workers take care of me that day. The woman was the main haircutter, one man washed my hair, and the 2nd man was the one trying to sell me services but also helped blow dry my hair. I cut over 6 inches off that day and got a super short bob haircut that I love! It is so easy to wash my hair now and my hair feels softer than before. The haircut itself was $30 and the digital perm was $100. Digital perms are a perm style popular in Korea. I thought the process would leave my hair super frizzy but it has been a week already and my hair is not frizzy at all. I also thought that it'd leave my hair wreaking of perm product scent but it didn't either. I was able to wash my hair normal the day after and do everything I normally do with my hair. They said the perm should last around 6 months. With the perm, they can control how curly or wavy you want it. I just wanted a slight wave and the stylist agreed that I shouldn't make it too curly or wavy. She understood what I wanted and I trusted her experience. She's been in this location for around 3 years but prior to this did hair in Korea. My appointment was for 5:30 and they close at 7 but they stayed much later after closing time to finish my perm. The perm itself took around 2 hours to do. The haircut was super quick. I was surprised by how quickly (almost savagely!) she did the haircut and how she chopped off so much length in just one scissor chop rather than multiple snips. The workers there speak limited English but I was able to get my points across with images of hairstyles I wanted. They do nails too. A full set is around $50. There is plenty of parking. They took my appointment via Facebook Messenger request.

Beware! I came with…read morevirgin hair and experienced terrible communication and styling from Terri, and then no ability to help from Victoria as the owner of the salon. It was a really bad experience and now I am stuck with hair I am honestly embarrassed by. I sent Terri a message, asking if she had the ability to do hombre, and I provided a picture of what I had in mind. She said she could do it. When I came in, she corrected me on some terminology but forgot I sent the picture and gave me...traditional highlights. I told her right away I how disappointed I was because I never wanted dye anywhere but the bottom of my hair and framing the face. She didn't care I was unhappy at all. It was pretty shocking. Eventually she offered to darken my hair two inches down from the roots but not further down my head, and even mentioned charging me more money for anything else! In the end I did not come in to have her do additional work because she made it clear that it would not help me get any closer to the original picture, and because I did not trust Terri's skill level to fix it. I called the salon hoping Victoria could help, but there is no oversight there. Victoria said each stylist rents their own booth and there was nothing she would do to help. So beware, anyone considering this salon. I was given a style I did not ask for and do not like, and when my stylist was unwilling to fix it, the owner of the salon did nothing. I would be lying if I said I was not shocked and insulted by this entire experience in the salon. So all I can say is beware.
