I sent her a text with this picture. Tara responded that she would reach back out to me when she was back from vacation. Never heard from her again. I should have never allowed her to do my hair "hung over" as she said she was when I walked in the morning of this appt. Her laziness ruined my hair and she was too much of a coward to contact me like she said she would. Stay far away.

I have had awful luck in that state with haircuts. This place was recommended by my aunt- and I am SO glad I listened! I went to Brittany last summer to try a new style that I was nervous about- and she did fantastic! She even came in early to fit me in before I went home to Florida. A few months later I went to a salon in Orlando for a trim and they butchered my hair. I haven't had anyone touch it since until today when I was visiting family and Brittany was able to fit me into her day. I could cry I am so happy! It took about six months for my hair to grow back in (the FL stylist cut it that short via multiple mess ups) and she was able to fix it for me. She not only knows what she is doing, but she knows what is flattering for you personally. So important when it comes to a hair stylist! The atmosphere is welcoming and you can tell they really care about their clients. If I could get them to move to Orlando, that would be awesome! But until I find someone I can trust there- my haircuts will wait for trips to Syracuse I love this place (and Brittany!) that much.

Even without the Groupon, the regular prices are extremely fair and are much cheaper than prices for similar services at other salons. She is located at Studio #15. This place is located on the right of Panera Bread in the Plaza where Home Goods is. She uses Milk Shake hair dye products and is somehow affiliated with the company as well. I loved the way the hair products smelled. My cocoa brown hair dye smelled of cocoa. All of the dyes have scents from natural products that have colors similar to the color that the dye is. For instance, there is a honey one, papaya one, and strawberry one. The studio is indoors in an area with a bunch of individual studios owned by other people. Each studio is a different business but all of the businesses are beauty-related. I asked for a deeper V-cut but my haircut was mostly a small trim. I wanted my bangs to be shorter. I think the left side of my bangs ended up shorter than the right. I actually don't even recall the right side being cut. The trim was very minimal though I wanted a more drastic cut. The coloring however, was fantastic! I loved my highlights and loved how natural it looked. It was subtle and the colors blended well with my existing color. I am, however, allergic to PPD in hair dye and knew this before hand but still proceeded to dye my hair with hopes that the dye wouldn't touch me that much. I was wrong and I had a really bad allergic reaction that warranted some prednisone. This was not at all a problem caused by the product or Paige.

Paige has used a razor cut style and my hair has such great layers and more manageable on a daily basis. I loved at our first meeting it was really a consultation of what have I done in the past to my hair so she understood what I did or didn't do, no other hairstylist has ever done that before. Here is why: First, the salon is very relaxing, well-appointed, yet unpretentious. Stacy is the owner and has a gift for hair design and for running a business, too. Stacy is specially trained by Ouidad to cut curly hair and does an exceptional job. Every time. My daughter initially came as a companion and for mother-daughter time, but has been delighted by Lindsay's talent for both styling hair and eyebrow waxing. She also discovered Angela, the nail technician and her meticulous mani/pedis. She is an expert gel nail provider. The customer service at Indigo is unparalleled. I would recommend Indigo, you'll feel like Queen for a Day! And if you have curly hair, you have to allow Stacy the opportunity to cut and style your hair the Ouidad way, it's amazing! I had a lot of hair that was severely over processed, and I wanted a fresh short cut to remove all the breakage but still be versatile enough for me to do different hairstyles with. We went through a quick consultation and he told me he would have no problem cutting my hair, and he seemed genuinely excited to do it. He stayed late for me the next day, so he could take his time and he really did. I gave him one picture to go off of for inspiration and he took it the rest of the way. He was so precise and talked through every step as I said goodbye to my mane. I could not have been happier with the process and I couldn't love the cut any more than I do. Vincent is a master stylist here in Central New York providing services equatable (or better!) to what you'd find in a big city salon. The salon was very busy at 9am the first day I went in for my consultation, but all the stylists are wonderful and gave their clients one on one attention. Most of the women I saw had short cuts, so if you're feeling daring and ready for a change or want a fresh take on your currently short hair... This is the salon for you. Initially, I was upset. My hair was darker and shorter and I was not happy. Vincent assured me I'd get compliments on my hair, and someone else mentioned it looked much better than when I walked in. It took about a month, but surprise, surprise. I ended up really, really liking it. He has a very good eye for face/hair balance and what looks good. It wasn't just my hair, but the other women in the salon all looked great. They were all very good haircuts that looked great. The one he gave me was very cute and fairly easy to maintain. I'm a wee bit embarrassed to call for another appointment because I walked out in a huff. Still, I'd like to get the nerve up to go back in for a trim. (My hair doesn't grow very fast.)
