The staff is fantastic and we were warmly greeted upon arrival and the communication had been so great leading up to my appointment with Renee every step of the way -- I brought my mom with me for the make up trial and we were blown away with joy at the turn out. I told Madison Reeder (my make up artist) that I wanted to have a natural look on my big day but really left it up to her to decide what to do. I told her "my face is your blank canvas!" Once or twice I've realized the next day that the cut wasn't exactly what I wanted. Margie got me right back in to fix me up. The salon is peaceful and friendly. Keep in mind I was only able to call at noon because they only opened at noon . I also tried to email and text them last night, but there was no ability to do so. When I spoke to the representative about my needs to cancel, I was told that sure we can cancel. She then said, would you like to pay your cancellation penalty with a card on file? When I asked what is the cancellation charge she stated you owe half your haircut. I tried again to explain that I work remotely and was added last night to a business call during my haircut appt - I just have a conflict that is not preventable. She replied well you can schedule another time perhaps in the evening - but you owe $33 for cancellation. Hard pass on the lack of appropriate customer service. It's a shame. I got a great haircut there and will not be returning. I also referred my husband there and he will not be returning as well. We are not criminals lol just had a conflict that we thought the business would professionally accommodate.

I did some research online and asked around and felt really unsure about choosing any of them until I was referred to Teresa at Shift by my makeup artist, Tonia Patterson of Ooh La La. I was very nervous when I showed up for my first hair trial and Teresa put me right at ease. She is easy going yet professional and worked off a picture that I had selected of a hairstyle I picked off of Pinterest. Teresa never made me feel rushed or pressured and when all was said and done, I absolutely LOVED my hair on my wedding day! I did have two hair trials (because I am picky yet indecisive at the same time lol) and we still made some small tweaks and added a hair piece at the last minute but Teresa never made me feel like I was being a pain (though I'm sure I was).
