First, their receptionists are customer service experts. They listen, genuinely care and matched me to the perfect stylist, Eva. Janice and Vicki, I think you are rockstars and deserve bonuses. Totally made me feel welcome and special. Second, the salon is clean, chic and has a great vibe. The 14 women working there work really well together. At some places you can pick up on the cattiness. I'm kind of a nervous natural, and I dont get my hair straightened a lot, but i tried it out since i'm going out of town and I'm glad i came. I'm kind of opposed to Dominican-style blowouts because of all the unnecessary heat, pulling and breakage that it causes, so i was happy that coming here was a more gentle experience. She did a blow dry, flat iron blow out on me but took her time and got my hair really straight, even at the roots. And everything is in english, which you wouldnt think I'd miss since I usually have my phone anyway but....yea. it's nice to actually be able to listen to the tv in there while my hair is being done lol. She used heat protectant and made sure my hair wasn't dry during the flat ironing. My hair is not too stiff with product or from being too kinky still, but flows really nicely.
