Appointment started 15 mintues late. Made appointment and paid for "Signature Cut." She either forgot or just didn't want to do the included shampoo and conditioner. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Stylist was rushed to get to another customer that was waiting so I didn't make a stink of it.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Came home and looked in mirror and did not like the cut either. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I came in here a couple weeks ago for a scheduled appointment.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I provided a picture of what I was looking for. The style was mainly what I was interested in. I advised I did NOT want it to be as short though[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. I closed my eyes for a few minutes, then discovered the stylist had cut my hair significantly shorter in the front. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I immediately said DONT cut any more sections that short. That's way too short. She responded. "I'm not going to stop now" and proceeded to continue doing it[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. [[HIGHLIGHT]]She got irate and told me to get the picture out again and tried to argue she had not cut my hair as short as she had[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I contacted Hair Cuttery. They ignored me. I contacted them a second time, and l received a call from that location and was told they had no way to receive photos.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This is what it looks like. Worst haircut EVER! Live in the neighboring community, and went here for the first (and last) time. Had an appointment with a hair cutter, showed up & they gave me someone else. No big deal, but the cut took 15 minutes. No shampoo/conditioner, etc (that was listed in the $26 price). Despite what I asked for, she zipped through (on what she told me was her last day there). I'll drive the hour to Price's Barber Shop in St. Augustine a couple times a year, where I went for eight (8) years. read more

Stumbled across this gem one Sunday when I was trying to find a place in DeLand to put color my 85 year old mother's hair- both Hair Cuttery's in DeLand had no openings- so I started branching out towards DAYTONA calling each one - eventually I got Toria at the Newer Hair Cuttery on LPGA on the phone and she said come on over. What a kind gentle efficient young lady. We could tell she knew what she was doing, by the confidence she displayed. Mom was so pleased with her that she said we will be driving over there every time as long as Toria works there! The salon is newer and very clean and all the other stylists we observed there seemed equally as compassionate and friendly as Toria. I am so glad we found this salon! We've already made our second visit and look forward to many more! read more

Absolutely terrible service. Every time I go in right at opening for a quick haircut they have 2-3 stylist doing absolutely nothing and she says they are booked for the next 3 hours. They always have an attitude and even my 6 year old agreed on how rude the staff is here. When Emily was here this place was way better. Do better people. read more
