I called to see if there was any availability during my lunch break and to my surprise, there was room to get me in. Jessy is who cut my hair, and she gave me EXACTLY what I asked for. So many stylists prior to this experience talked me down off of super short layers. But I'd gotten it before and loved it; I knew it would look good on me. She took her time and though it took longer than my lunch break, I really appreciated that she was committed to my vision to the end. More importantly, she wanted to ensure I loved it post blow dry and style. I was also able to take a 5 minute work call in the middle of my cut, which some salons do not allow; so I was also appreciative of the flexibility in allowing me to take it without headphones so last minute. If you need a cut, I highly recommend giving this salon (and Jessy) a chance like I did!!

King Street barber is the place I had been looking for. Leslie is experienced and just a pleasure to work with. It was a true barbershop experience. Straight razor on the neck, really nice cut where she made sure to do everything that her customer wanted and even great advice on what type of product to use. She even took time to give the history of the place that was built in 1926. Inside honors the history with some simple and really nice decor. Recently, I was interested in trying someplace new and spent the last few weeks looking around. I decided on Razors Edge Barber shop. I think I made the best decision for my self. On the exterior, the store front is quaint and simple. Walking through the door is another matter entirely. Rustic, urban, and a classic gritty masculinity with a sense of swagger. So I meet Frank, and immediately I think this guy is unique. I tell him my usual haircut style and what I'm looking for. Not only does he give me his professional opinion but he suggests a style and cut more trending and appealing. And i might say folks, he did not disappoint. I'm nearing 40 and no longer want to have the militant cuts I've had for the last 22 years. I wanted a change to be more distinguished with a touch of "swagger". By the end, my oddly shaped head with a crazy cowlick, was hard-parted and nicely shaped with an even fade of bald to one guard. Even on my first visit, I have been pleased and looking forward to what happens next time. So much so, that I might not wait for a whole month. Thank you Frank! The second girl had her hair trimmed and she was in tears because 4-6 inches were gone from her beautiful blonde hair! I was in the chair at 4:20 for 5 minutes and she was done with me and I was back on the road by 4:30 pm. Stay away!!!
