On the day of my appointment, while I was already on my way to the salon, I received a call from the receptionist informing me that my appointment was being canceled last minute. Instead of offering a solution or urgency in rebooking, I was told it would be another two weeks before I could be scheduled for the same service. The only compromise offered was to split the services -- haircut one week, color the next -- which was not ideal, nor what I had booked or planned for. It was implied that the cancellation was due to my stylist calling out, and while no direct explanation was given, it happened to be the day after what I believe was their birthday -- which raises questions about the level of professionalism and planning. If something unavoidable came up, I would have appreciated an honest explanation and a sincere effort to accommodate me promptly--especially since I had already made arrangements and was en route. At the time I was working 70 hours a week and I specifically took time out of my workday to go do this seeing as I had no free time. To make matters worse, I later received an automated confirmation for an appointment I never scheduled or approved, which only added to the confusion. The stylists here are also the owners, Patrick and Kevin, which makes the lack of communication and client care even more frustrating. As business owners, I expected better accountability, professionalism, and respect for clients' time. Unfortunately, this experience left a bad taste in my mouth, and I won't be returning.

The condition is called V.A.D. or beauty parlor syndrome. The owner is the one who is responsible for furnishings. Those sinks are antiquated. If you do go there, INSIST you have multiple towels put under your head before you lean back into the sink.

We spoke to a woman there and said sue previous client hair didn't turn out right and needs to redo it. That should have been our red flag to leave. (Strike two) Giving them the benefit of the doubt we waited. The appointment was for a full spiral perm with volume. 5 HOURS later the hair if finished? The hair is a regular perm and flat like a pancake. No volume no spiral curled just waves. Called to speak to the manager. No manager available. Asked for the owner, on vacation. Called a few days later said to come in s her best stylist Kathleen will fix.? Really ? Hair still looks flat, perm was not redone and still not happy at all. They charged 125.00 for what Then give you hair care products. I would most definitely NOT recommend this salon.

I'm blonde with a little strawberry tone and some low lights . Instead, my roots were turned bright red while my highlights came out white/gray and extremely uneven. When I politely pointed out that my roots looked bright red and my hair looked brassy, the stylist immediately became defensive and tried to tell me "it's the same as last time" and that my "eyebrows are basically blonde." Instead of listening to my concerns, she became aggressive while fixing it by yanking my head and pulling my hair roughly when she attempted to fix it my hair turned out like this ( see photos) it's still no where near good. I left the appointment crying in my car. I recently had surgery and just wanted to feel pretty again, and this experience made me feel the complete opposite. I also want to mention how uncomfortable the salon environment is in general. Every time I've been there, most of the stylists openly talk badly about clients after they leave -- calling women fat, ugly, and tearing apart their appearances. The only person I did not witness participating was a blonde woman with shoulder-length hair. Today, before an elderly client even arrived, the owner, Teresa, was speaking negatively about her to the staff, talking about how she "hates" the client, criticizing her personal habits, and mocking the woman's husband for attending appointments with her. The client even brought Teresa a turquoise bracelet as a thoughtful gift, and after she left, Teresa continued making fun of her for that as well. A salon should be a place where women feel uplifted and confident, not judged and humiliated. I think professionalism, consistency, and kindness matter in this industry, and unfortunately I did not experience any of those things here. They did give me a refund but I am still posting this because even with a refund it's still completely unacceptable and the stylist didn't even apologize for completely messing everything up)
