I saw Alex today after I got off of work early for a wash, cut and blow dry. I scheduled my appointment online with her and was seen same day shortly after! I came in early incase needed and was brought back to the chair immediately. I had some pretty fried ends and need a haircut so bad. I knew what I needed but trusted her judgment more! She is very kind and friendly and did exactly what I had wanted! I went from decently long to a little more of the shorter side and I LOVE IT SO MUCH! She did such an amazing job I already booked my next trim so I can keep up with keeping it healthy! I highly recommend Alex as she is a wonderful stylist and made the whole appointment very customizable with me as the client! Loved chatting with her as well! I arrived for my appointment to get my hair cut and dried early with Lucy. When the hairdresser saw my long hair she immediately began to complain that she didn't have time to do my hair in the allotted amount of time. This was accurate due to the length and texture of my hair but I was made to feel uncomfortable for a mistake made on the businesses end not mine. She went to the desk and had a heated conversation with someone who said they would dry my hair she only had to cut it. While washing my hair she became irritated by the wavy texture claiming it was curly and that I had not told her this. She left me at the sink went in the back room. When she came back she stated my cut and dry will now be $72, more than double what I was told originally, The price change could not be explained to me. As she cut my hair she kept repeating that she had a customer coming back because she was too busy for him earlier and she could not keep him waiting due to him being a repeat client of hers. I was moved to another chair to sit and wait while she cut another customers hair because she no longer wanted someone else to do my hair, this was not discussed with me. I waited 25 minutes and when she was still not finished and my hair was nearly air dried, I interrupted so that I could pay and leave. She then acted like she was doing me a favor for only charging me for a haircut. I am a new mom and this was my afternoon out to be pampered. This was anything but that. It was truly a miserable experience which is a shame because my haircut was nice. read more
